 + -1 moreThe store is fine, but the pricing is not like it was. I will go to local stores when I need something from here on. Fry's is not worth it, as much as it used to be.
Description of Work: Purchased from this company. The problem I have is that I have either lost the invoice or the invoice never made it to me. It was only last month that it was submitted. I have been harassed by their collections department for the $61.00 bill I owe. I was happy to pay it. I asked that they send me a new receipt, so I can confirm the purchase. The collections agent replied that it will cost an additional $5 to send it. The place is OK. I have found the prices there to be not, as good as, they used to be. With this display of harassment for a $61.00 bill I rightfully owe and am happy to pay, I have chosen to cancel my credit card and not set foot back in the door. I have not been in another store for 7 years, but will now return there due to their employment practices. Treat even those who owe you money with respect, or they may write a letter about it.

 + -1 moreBought an iBook and the warranty. When the iBook had a problem, I brought it back, got a loner while it was at apple and everything was covered by the warranty. The service people were very nice and helpful, though their mac expect was not in at the time, they still handled the problem just fine.

 + -1 moreAFTER DOING MORE SHOPPING, I RETURNED THE FOLLOWING EVENING BY MYSELF TO PURCHASE A COMPUTER SYSTEM. WHEN I CAME INTO THE COMPUTER AREA, A SALES ASSOCIATE APPROACHED ME, BUT THEN ABRUPTLY AND MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED, NOT TO BE SEEN AGAIN. WHEN I LOOKED AROUND A FEW MINUTES LATER, THERE WERE NO SALES ASSOCIATES TO BE FOUND, AND THERE WERE OTHER CUSTOMERS LOOKING AT COMPUTERS. I HAD TO FIND THE STACK OF BOXES WITH THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE COMPUTER I WANTED MYSELF AND TRY TO PUT THIS EXTREMELY HEAVY BOX UP INTO A CART. NOT AN EASY TASK. SOME MEN SHOPPING SAW ME STRUGGLING AND HELPED ME. OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE BEEN FORCED TO PUSH IT ALONG THE FLOOR TO THE CHECKOUT, WHICH WAS IN THE NEXT ZIP CODE. FAT CHANCE GETTING HELP AT MY CAR, THE RECEIPT STAMPERS AT THE DOOR CAN'T LEAVE THEIR POST. I HAVE GOTTEN BETTER HELP THAN THIS JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE! LADIES, IF YOU SHOP HERE, TAKE A MAN OR YOU WILL BE INVISIBLE. MAYBE I WILL TRY A COSTUME IF I GO THERE ALONE, BUT I MAY NOT BE BACK.
Description of Work: PURCHASED NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM. INITIALLY I WENT TO FRY'S ON THE FIRST NIGHT WITH A MALE FRIEND TO LOOK AT NEW COMPUTERS. I HAD CERTAIN CRITERIA IN MIND, AND A PRETTY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, AS THIS WAS GOING TO BE AN UPGRADE. ON THIS NIGHT, WE WERE PROMPTLY ASSISTED BY TWO SALES ASSOCIATES WHO SOON APPROACHED AND MADE THEMSELVES AVAILABLE FOR OUR QUESTIONS WHILE WE SPENT A GOOD DEAL OF TIME LOOKING AT AND COMPARING SYSTEMS.
