I am happy with them.

I used them to finance both my house and my car. They have the best rates and excellent customer service. I will continue to use the services of this credit union in the future.

We refined with Form Credit Union when the adjustable was going to kick in with our initial mortgage company. They gave us a fixed rate mortgage. Our overall experience with them has been good. They had the right interest rates.

Simply can't say enough good things about Forum and Forum private client group. Professional, helpful, knowlegable and caring. Yes I said they actually Care about my needs. I love Fourm and have been with them for many years. I can't see myself banking with anyone else.

The refinance process went very smoothly. However, in the 2 years we've had the mortgage they have caused issues. The first issue was that was that the title company collected taxes at closing and paid the property taxes. Forum went ahead and also paid the taxes. The second issue, and this is a re-occuring issue is that whenever the first of the month falls on a weekend I get a call from their collection agency asking where our payment is. We have fifteen days before our payment is late, and we get them the check on the last day of the month (the due date) and they usually deposit the check 2 days later. The first time I got the call, I put a stop payment on the first check then drove to the bank and paid the mortgage through the teller with a second check within the hour. The next day I noticed that Forum had in fact deposited both mortgage checks the day before. Cost me $33 dollars for the stop payment. Since then I ignore their phone calls, but have noticed it is every time the 1st falls on a weekend. The third issue is that we are now in the process of buying a second home and are not using them for the mortgage. They are refusing to release our information to the other bank without us getting on a conference call. We even signed a release authorization form for them. Because of this we are going to miss our closing date.

As I mentioned, I've been a Forum Credit Union member for approx. 20years and they've always been easy to work with and are always available to help walk through any issues that may arise.

After an online chat and 5 phone calls we finally found someone who could explain why we had been told that a family member needed to call Forum as soon as possible. Andrea, who works Monday-Friday, 8-5, was the only employee we talked with who was able to answer our questions. Should anyone else have this problem, call and ask for Andrea. I'll refrain from commenting about the others employees we talked with.

They always seem very professional and friendly. They are easy to deal with.

We tried to start a checking account for my daughter who is in college, out of state. We met with the customer service rep at the Fishers Forum credit union to get everything setup. Weeks go by and we hear nothing from the credit union. So, currently we have to get cash to my daughter by other means so she can have some money. We were working between two banks. The rep said that it would be a week to ten days and never mentioned one thing about a signature card having to come back. It was two weeks before a signature card was even received by my daughter in order to sign it. Still, no checks. Meanwhile, my daughter still has no access to cash from her account. My wife went to the credit union and talked face to face with the branch manager. He said he would get to the bottom of it all and call her back on a Thursday. No call came. She had to call on Friday and leave him a message. On Monday, still no call from the branch manager. My wife finally had to go there the next week and see if she could figure out anything. No one from the credit union was responding. On her way into the credit union, she grabbed the branch manager as he was heading out. He had totally spaced it on the issue and apologized for not getting back but offered no help in return. It was more than four weeks for them to send a signature card and get it processed back in. My daughter received the card and sent it right back immediately...so that was not the hold up. Had we known it would take more than a month to get a checking account established we would have deposited money into her account out of state. We had no idea any checking account would take more than a month to start...and we still don't have one setup and able to use yet. The credit union's customer service appears to be going downhill. We have been customers for many years but are now considering changing to a bank before it gets much worse. I see that someone else rated Forum with a D rating for other services. I would say that the customer service mark given is fairly appropriate. I do like the fact that Forum is a local institution but they have got to do a better job with customer service. It would be a nice gesture for them to at least reimburse us for the checks.

The mortgage was offered through an independent broker. When it became apparent that the broker had incorrectly described the financial product, nothing was even attempted to try and reconcile the situation. My instructions were to call for a rate adjustment within 45 days of the completion of my project. I called but did not receive a call back for more than two weeks. In the meantime, rates fluctuated wildly, and I missed out on a much better rate than what I received. The issues with poor responsiveness continued throughout my experience and I'll be changing banks soon. Once conditions improve, I plan to refinance with another company. Based on my experience, I do not feel I was dealt with honestly.
