Faerber's Bee Window Inc

I contacted the company via their online chat function to try to get an estimate appointment set up, thinking that this would be a great, efficient way to take care of one of my to do items. Holy cow, was I wrong! The representative first tried to get me to have a phone call when I passed up that option on their website so that I could chat with them while on an evening conference call. Then, after chatting for almost AN HOUR - yes, 57 minutes later, we get to the point where they try to set up an appointment and they ask for a 90-minute appointment. (It took me 5 minutes to set up an appointment with another company to provide an estimate!) When I mentioned that 90 minutes is way too much time for an estimate for 3 window replacements, and offered them 30-45 minutes, they pushed for 90 minutes but said if the appointment took less than that, they'd of course leave before 90 minutes was up. So, I responded that as long as the sales person knew he had 30 minutes, I'd still be willing to set up an appointment but otherwise, it sounded like a waste of time. So, they declined because I wouldn't give them 90 minutes to measure and provide an estimate to replace 3 existing windows - that's 30 minutes per window! Don't waste your time if you value your time.

The repair work was successful and went quickly.

They looked at it and said the pricing for fixing it. I was able to pick it up the next day and it was just like new. I would recommend them.

The estimate and sales procedure went well. The installation was efficient. The installers were diligent in filling all gaps with expanding foam and in their application of the interior trim. In addition, they carefully customized the exterior trim to mate each window with its surrounding stone work. I have no complaint at this time about their craftsmanship. I do, however, find fault with Faerber's subsequent marketing and sales procedures. The company now constantly harangues me by telephone and mail to buy more of their services. It seems impossible to stop them. On the other hand, after requesting an estimate for another service and receiving a verbal one from the salesman who inspected the job, I was never provided the promised written estimate, even after three requests. I did, however, get many follow-up calls regarding this job from telephone sales people who were apparently unable to get the word back to Bee Window that I wanted a written estimate before doing business with them. These two issues seem very unprofessional and have caused me to downgrade my overall experience with this organization, making me extremely reluctant to have further dealings with them.

They gave me what I had in vision and it was just what I had expected. The work was done properly and it was good. It just took a long time to get completed. They told me initially it would take two weeks but it ended being close to eight weeks. When they were working, they did a good job. They were responsive. The only problem I had is that I did have some water leakage when they were connecting the room to the house. It was raining and there was quite a bit of water. They did come out and take a look at it but afterwards they never really address the problem of the water that was in the house. They didn't replace the pad or the carpeting and I had to take care myself. They weren't there all the time.

Their service was fine. It was good and I was happy with the product. They did everything whatever they had said and it was great. They are punctual. They met the quote and they did a good job cleaning up. Everything is fine. I will use their services again in the future.

We didn’t select them. They were in transition to their new showroom and we thought it was inferior; they had old stuff and it looked terrible. The other problem was that they couldn’t match the colors that we wanted on the interior or exterior because they had a limited selection. Quite frankly, I didn’t like how they priced things. It felt like a car dealership where they give you the real price, they give you a price of what they can do, and then they try to make deals with you. We didn’t pursue them further.

If you want to pay a lot then this is probably a good company.

We had a representative from Bee come out previously, but we were not happy with him at all. We also didn't have the job done at all that year. We contacted Bee (and a few other companies) the next year, after hearing about a promotion or something, and were very happy with the sales rep that came out this time. Their price was a little high, but the quality seemed worth it to us. The problem was that we ended up undecided yet again about getting the job done because it was pricey. The company worked with us and we used short term financing to get it done. The crew that came out were courteous, neat, and friendly. They did a great job removing the old windows, installing the new ones, and removing all debris. We are extremely happy with the windows and if were weren't thinking about moving, may have them replace the rest.

I obtained a quote from Matt Vickery of Bee Window. Although I will not be using Bee Window, Matt was as good of a sales rep that I had met with. I had previously obtained a quote from Bee years prior but decided against doing windows at that time. Bee reps do a very structured sales presentation which equates to a long presentation. If you're meeting with numerous companies for quotes, this gets to be a little old. Matt was no different with his sales presentation. However, I found Matt to take a no pressure sales approach. He was straightforward with how they handle pricing. The last time I was given a quote from Bee, it almost seemed dishonest with how they did the buy now and get 33% off. With explanation, it made sense, but still a little gimmicky. But, I didn't find Matt to be gimmicky. I would have been very comfortable with ordering from him. At the end of the day, I was being quoted the Renewal by Anderson product and compared to a high end vinyl, it's expensive. Being in a nice, but older neighborhood, the extra money on Renewal didn't make sense. I'll be going with a high end vinyl that has a wood look for about 75% of the cost. At the end of the day, Bee is a reputable company. Just expect to spend more on the Renewal if you're looking for a wood or wood composite window.

I can't express how much I enjoyed that work. The workmen were friendly. They did everything they could to make it as convenient as possible to put in all these windows in our house.

Bee Window's Bill Bacon called and visited the site to review work to be done by him and his crew (a very pleasant way to begin). A few days later Bee Window called to set the date of 21 September for the start of the project and that materials would be delivered two or three days before. The materials were delivered as scheduled and at 7:40am on the 21st the crew was on site ready to start. A dumpster for the waste was delivered about an hour later. The project went without any problems. The crew were extemely polite and friendly which made for a very pleasant situation. Bill Bacon to me is somewhat of an artist with his experience he improvised ways to make improvements over what had existed. The job took three days to complete and clean up was fast and well done. We are very pleased with the whole experience.

STAY AWAY FROM BEE WINDOW!!!! We had problems with the install of our windows and siding. But, Bee Window seemed eager to make things right. We had windows that were not insulated well to windows that were not insulated at all. They did not put the insulated backing behind the siding in areas, our wrap was uneven, and our gutters were put on crooked. Although we ended up pretty happy with the quality of the products Bee Window put on our house, We are very unhappy with Bee Window's Warranty. I have been trying for SIX MONTHS to get them to come out and fix problems we are having with the wrap and siding on our house. They sent someone out at the end of March to look at the problem. I waited a few weeks and when nothing happened, I started calling. They would not return my phone calls. After I threatened a lawsuit, they contacted me and claimed they had no record of my claim. They again sent someone out. I was promised a phone call on September 19, 2011. Now three days later, I am back to not hearing from them again. We were one of the people Bee Window sold a lifetime warranty to. But, this lifetime warranty is worthless. They will not honor it or tell us why they won't work on our house. My dad had told us someone he worked with years ago had problems getting Bee Window to take care of problems after the sale. I am here to verify that this is indeed true for us. Bee Window is not worth the headache and I do plan on a lawsuit against them!!

I had a very positive experience with them. A salesman came by our home one night to review our options, and communication was good throughout the project. We got a great deal of buy two, get one free. Overall, I was happy with their service and work.

The gentleman who performed the work was very nice, and I think he did a great job. I’d give this company my recommendation.

I thought the bid was way too high ($18,000.00), so we didn’t hire them for the work.

I felt that the bid was very high, so I’ve decided not to work with them. That being said, they were very professional in their presentation, and seemed knowledgeable. I'm giving them a 'C' for professionalism because while they did arrive on time for our initial appointment, it took a very long time before I finally received their bid.

We worked with Faeber’s last year, and this interaction was just as smooth as last time. In fact, most of the crew that came out recently where the same people who helped us last year.

My experience with them went well. I felt like we got the information we needed to make an informed decision, and I appreciated all of the options.

I think this company was easy to deal with. However, there was a little discrepancy between what the salesperson told us and actually transpired during our most recent experience.

I think they did good work, and the final cost was on target with their estimate. Overall, I was satisfied with their service.

Bee worked on my neighbor's house every day for a little over a week until finished. I got an estimate soon after and plan to hire them as soon as possible.

Faerber’s Bee Window was great all around. They had a good price, and the entire process was painless. I would recommend them to others.

They really did a great job. Specifically, the crew foreman stood out because he was wonderful. I believe he’s no longer with the company, but I really enjoyed working with him. I think the product they offer is extremely high quality, but pricey.
