Specifics written above. Overall it was an excellent experience! I had been dreading the cost and hassle of replacing those windows, but they made it so much easier and guided us thru the process. All staff were helpful, knowledgeable and polite throughout.

Was impressed with the workmanship.

With the new safety laws since approximately 1978 anytime workman are around lead paint areas they have to use extreme caution for safety reasons. In this instance they put a safety rope around the area where they were working with our windows and door. They were punctual, professional, and personable. They cleaned up as work was performed. They were pleasant to work with and gave detail on work to be completed at the beginning of the job. After completion of the job they also gave details on the work they completed. I gave them a 10+ on their points. Ryan and David are exceptionally good workers. Dallas was our representative who went through the process with us to get our windows and door installed. Dallas was also an excellent representative of the company. I encouraged Ryan to join our neighborhood association.

Before I begin the deeper critique, let me just say that I'm happy with my new porch. Were there some issues (all of which I will dig into)? Yes, there were. But they were livable and the end result was still solid as a whole. Okay, here we go... Bee Window provided one of the higher estimates that I acquired, but I chose them due to their affiliation with Four Seasons and the "sales pitch". For that price, I was certain that I'd get the complete package of quality construction and top-tier service. Well, that was mostly true. If I had any real beef, it was with the communication. We had some issues in that area and I believe (in retrospect) that many of these were due to the fact that the company has not ventured into the world of smart (or even semi-smart) phones as of yet. I tend to prefer email communications for projects like these in order to have traceability to decisions/agreements, but apparently the primary workers have no ability to get their email on their phones, preventing them from seeing correspondence while on another job or out of town. Not a particularly good move in this day and age, quite frankly. I felt I was being ignored while I was actually just not being heard promptly. The construction of the project took quite some time to begin after the contract was signed. I felt as if it was overly-long, especially in light of some communication issues with my H.O.A., but we got through it. Once the building began, the porch went up very fast. I would have desired more check-ins from the sales staff, but I won't press on that too much. I had initially written a more negative review out of frustration, but a sales rep contacted me very quickly upon the publishing of my review and we mended fences, so to speak. He took ownership of some of the communication gaps and was very willing to make things right. That's a big deal to me because it isn't always the case. It made me feel better about our "partnership". In fact, he returned to my home with the build manager and both vowed to fix some minor issues that I had with the wood paneling. This is deserving of attention. Sometimes problems occur. It's the response to such problems that bears the most weight. I truly believe that Bee Window will learn from some of the communication gaps that occurred. Solid companies correct their mistakes and I think that this is a solid company. I've corrected some of the poor grades I initially gave because I think some were unfair and given out of immediate frustration with a flawed perception that I had, but I have to remain honest that it was not quite as tight as I had hoped. In fairness, I'll provide my reasons for each: Price: "B" due to some of the communication falling through the cracks. I think that if you are at the high end of cost, you need to do *everything* to provide the highest customer service. Quality: "A" because the porch is fantastic and they are soon going to correct some minor issues with the wood paneling. Responsiveness: "C" due to the issues mentioned above. In my opinion, we're living in an age were ALL forms of communication should be on the table and accessible. If I email the person who is managing the construction, he should be able to see that very quickly, even if he is on the road. But in this case, I often didn't hear back for days. I've had issues in the past when dealing with companies only by phone (agreements have no traceability), so email is my primary choice. I don't think that's unrealistic. Punctuality: A shaky "A" for many of the same reasons as responsiveness. Due to the communication problems, a couple of things didn't get done when they should have. That said, I never had an issue where the builders didn't show up or arrived significantly late. Professionalism: "A" as all of the builders/electricians/sales people that I had dealings with were solid representatives of the company. Also added props for taking ownership of some of the issues and making good. But I'd still like to see more general contact from the sales staff throughout the process in the future. Just a "how's it going?" from time to time. Overall: "B+" for building a solid porch and ultimately making good after some choppiness along the way. I would do business with this company again. Some minor upgrades in their communication and they're golden. And after talking at length with the sales manager, I think these upgrades will inevitably be made.

After reviewing details of a variety of replacement windows and sliding french patio doors, we visited the Faerber's Bee Window showroom in order to see the actual construction of the windows and doors. We were happy with the construction of both the windows and the doors; therefore, we requested an appointment for someone to come to our home to review the existing conditions and provide us a quote. Dallas was the Salesman who called on us. Dallas was on-time and professional in all interactions (initial and subsequent communications as I would think of additional questions). The only negative feedback that I found within the Angie's List Reviews pertained to "high pressure sales tactics" - I'm happy to say that we did not experience this with Dallas. He had his "script" and "visual aides" which (based on the variety of window details found on the internet), I believe that this was necessary in order for us to truly understand what we were considering purchasing. Dallas was responsive to my multiple E-mail questions, which I thought of throughout the process. Most importantly, he was patient with my multitude of questions regarding the terms of the contract. After the contract was agreed upon, Bob came out to confirm measurements of the existing openings - and I'm sure to understand what Dallas had committed for his crews. Like Dallas, Bob was prompt and professional. We were told to anticipate that, because of the masonry brick work, we should expect a day and a half for the installation - and that the house would be secure and sealed in by the end of the first day. Their mason, Steve, contacted me and asked if he could come out the day before the work was scheduled to begin and perform the necessary demolition to the brick facade. This made a lot of sense and simplified the wall demolition required to install the gliding doors. The next day Rex and Andy, showed up on time and did a wonderful job of not only the demolition and replacement work, but their attention to the detail in trimming out the windows and doors. They worked great together and independently such that they were efficient and productive. Their efficiency is good for their employer, but it was greatly appreciated by me as they finished their work in one day which minimized the time which I needed to be away from the office. Steve returned the following day and completed the brick sill for the gliding doors. Rex, Andy, and Steve cleaned up after themselves and left the interior and exterior of our house in great shape. Very professional and knowledgeable employees which Bee Window should be proud of - we will request these individuals for support in the future!

We knew that using Bee Windows would be more expensive, and we wanted to meet and get to know the company before we invited them into our house. We called to see if we could come to their showroom in Fishers, IN, We were told we had to wait until Saturday at 10:00 am. We made a 50 mile round trip to make this appointment. When we got there, nobody was there and we had to buz a bell until someone showed up. We informed them that we had an appointment at 10:00 am. The salesman was not there yet and was invited to look around. Finally the salesman arrived and I should have know something was amiss by the whimpy handshake he gave us upon greeting him. After explaining what we were looking for, he showed us two doors and explained the difference between the two. He handed us a pamphlet and told us that "this picture was the cheapest and became more expensive as you moved from picture to picture. I asked him about the window he was standing at. I asked him for a rough ballpark figure of what that window cost. He was very evassive and did not answer. I said, I don't want a quote, I just want to know the ballpark figure, am I looking at a 800, 1000, 2000 dollar slider or what. His flipant and rude answer was he would not tell me. I asked again and he said anywhere from $2 to $10,000. HIs tone was very rude. I said I would not waste my time if he could not provide me with any information. We had 1 patio door that needed immediate replacement with 14 additional windows, another patio door, and 2 storm doors all to be replaced before spring. I have no idea if this salesman was following company policy to be rude, evassive, and a jerk, or if it is just the company's policy to hire such people to represent them. Either way, I will never consider them and will make it a point to tell people about what Faber Bee Windows are really famous about. Since my experience, I have been going back and reading some of the negative comments this company has had and find these comments very accurate.

The technician that came out was very professional, precise, punctual, and friendly.

The crew was Rex and Andy. They were courtious and professional. The Nine old windows were removed and the new ones installed, and all clean up done in about 5 hours. The windows look great and the installation job is superior. I am hard to please but Bee Window left a smile on my face during this whole experience.

The sales rep arrived on time and was professional. Their top-of-the-line window looked great, but it was WAY more than we ever dreamed of spending. Their bottom-of-the-line level was a vinyl that was not very impressive, could not be done in different colors inside and out, and was still higher-priced than other nicer-looking vinyl we had already seen. The sales pitch was long and he wanted us to make a huge financial decision right there on the spot to get the lowest price. We told him that we would not be making that decision today and he did not seem to understand why we would need to talk about it. We basically told him we were done and asked him to leave. This sales tactic may occasionally sell windows but often puts unneeded stress on marriages.

Work was done professionally by Tony Perez and James Enyeart. Would highly recommend this team and would use again in the future. Great job - 10 Stars!

This company is extremely focused on detail. The door install was a 3 step process. Step one was to meet with the sales associate who was very knowledgeable and not pushy. Ric S., the sales associate laid out the pro's and con's of each type of door and helped us select a entry way set that met our needs. The second step was when they sent an associate out to measure the current door to exact specifications so that the new door would fit perfectly. The third step was the actual installation. The installation team did a fantastic job, professional, clean, very knowledgeable, and you could tell they had done this many times. The door is balanced perfectly, almost like a bank vault, you can push it shut with one finger and the door glides into place. The fit of this door is many times better that the original door that was installed when the house was built. I'm a detail kind of person and I was very impressed with the work. I watched the entire process. You are buying much more than a door when you use the Bee Window company.

The work was performed quickly and professionally, and the quality is superb. We did have an issue in that the salesman sold us a participial style of window over the sliding glass door, which was not installed. Discussion with the Jason at the main office resulted in understanding that we were sold something that was impossible to manufacture, and they worked with us on a credit for the cost difference. We will certainly use them again in the future due to the respect and professionalism they showed us throughout the install and follow up.

I would strongly recommend Bee Window to anyone. If you want quality windows, Bee Window is your best choice.

From start to finish my Bee window experience and been a very pleasant. The sale representative and very informative and knew his product well. He showed me exactly what I asked for which no high pressure tactics. Scheduling installation was done in a timely manner and the people I dealt with were very professional. Installation went smoothly. The installers were very neat and clean in their work. My windows look beautiful !!!!!!!! They cleaned up well after themselves.

Although the installers arrived later than the scheduled time because of circumstances beyond their control and were not able to finish the whole job in one day as they had projected, they removed our old windows and installed the new ones with skill and care. While installing the trim around the new windows on the outside, they discovered a piece of our siding that had been blown off in a recent windstorm and replaced it for us. They left absolutely no mess whatsoever. We are very happy with the windows and with the service we received.

Very, very disappointing. They blew me off

I made an appointment for a free home estimate for a tub to shower conversion and day and time was agreed upon. A woman called and confirmed the day and time and asked that I allocate at least an hour and a half for the estimate/sales pitch. Since it was going to take so long, I rearranged dinner plans for that evening. The scheduled appointment time came and went and no one showed. After a half an hour, I called Bee Window and was told I was being transferred to a manager. This took three transfers and another 10 minutes of hold time. When the manager finally got on the line, she indicated the woman was supposed to come and give me my estimate called in sick that morning and she "just forgot" to call me to let me know. Then proceeded to attempt to reschedule without any sincerity for the mistake. Very unprofessional.

I will be happy to respond to this question when the work is actually performed in September.

Overall the performance and work that was done was excellent.

We liked the quality of the window. They were very professional and cleaned up, they did a great job.

The sales person presented a very complete and detailed view of the type of windows offered. I chose to use the best I could get, Renewal by Anderson because I've had previous experience with Anderson windows. The order was placed and within about 4 weeks the windows arrived. In was notified and an installation date was set.The installers arrived right on time and didn't stop until the job was completed. They were efficient and very courteous, really nice people. The installation was amazing. I thought there would be all sorts of mess in my house, but that was not the case. The installers took care to cover everything with plastic. They also did a very good job of cleaning up after the installation. All nine windows were installed in just over four hours. The attention to detail was terrific. Each of the double hung windows was installed, tested, caulked and trimmed out like one would hope from professionals. A very large kitchen casement window installation was also completed without any problems. I am very pleased with not only the new windows, but with BEE Window. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a top-notch professional installation of an extremely good window.

Their installation was great and the product was as well. The salesperson was not the best but overall the experience was good.

They are doing a really good professional job. They are really good work men and very conscientious. They take their shoes off when they come in the house and keep everything clean. They clean up every night when they leave, so you can't even tell a construction job is going on. They come in the morning, stay late, and don't loaf around. There are other people who quoted lower prices, but we liked their product better. They called to let us know when they would start, and have stayed on schedule.

They're Anderson windows and not the low entry level window. We're happy with them, they did everything they said they would do, we didn't have any problems, and we are pleased. They're more than we wanted to spend, but, I can't complain too much.

They finished the job quickly. I would recommend their services.
