Action Air Inc

Action Air was amazing. The owner of the company personally came out after a couple of trips. We had a bad condensation problem in our basement. The whole house dehumidifier helped but didn't totally alleviate the problem. John worked with us continually until we had a resolution. He inspected our whole house and discovered that warm air was entering the house through a wall that was not insulated properly. He even made a special trip out to meet with the builder of our home to show them what he found. The builder actually fixed the problem at no charge to us. We would have never found the problem had it not been for Action Air. And, we had one other air company come out and they were clueless. We are very grateful for all of Action Air's help and we would definitely use them in the future!

There was an odor in my house that I smelled when the air conditioner fan ran. Had the sewer and the air conditioner condensate line checked. An Action Air man came out and spent a lot of time checking things and determined that either the ducts needed to be cleaned or the odor was coming from drains that needed to be cleaned out. I was desperate to get this fixed as I had planned a huge wedding gathering at my house. Although Action Air did not do any work the worker spent a lot of time at my house the I was not charged for. He even went into the crawl space and charged me nothing. I will call them again.

They were prompt and explained everything. He wore booties on his shoes and was careful about not getting the carpet dirty. Everything works fine, but I thought the price was a little high and after we looked up the price for that particular model we found it is about $80.00. He let us know it would cost about 89 dollars for labor, but after that it was still pricey.

Although this company did not provide the lowest quote, the professionalism and service were very good. The salesman also charged our system (which had a bad coolant leak) twice while we waited a few days for the system to be replaced.

I called them because the air went kaput. They came out a few days after I called them, and they were OK.

We needed our thermostat replaced at 8:00 pm. We called Action Air and the entire job was complete within an hour and a half of the initial call. Added into the price was a monthly fee to become a service member. At first I was skeptical that this monthly fee was a money making scam. However, yesterday Action Air came out and did our air conditioning tune-up, that is included in the service membership and they found nothing wrong; just did maintenance at no charge. We had the same technician for both appointments and he was extremely friendly and professional. I am completely satisfied and impressed.

Our A/C went out yesterday and they were able to install a new system today. Their whole attitude is customer service based which made them great to work with. The workers cover their shoes when in the house. They were all very polite and well groomed. They did a great job installing the unit and i would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Mike Pressley provided the quote, and their price was at the low end of the several solicited. Also, their guarantees and support program seemed superior to others. Everything was explained in definite terms, and questions were covered in detail. The installers were on time and courteous. Work was completed without incident, and the furnace seems to work very well. They also made sure that the previously installed air conditioner works properly with the furnace. Overall, I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Everybody involved was very polite and professional and was very enthusiastic about their company. They were easy to work with. They replaced the old coils with used coils at no charge. I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

It was an A experience. They responded and came out on a Sunday night. They finished the job quickly and left everything clean when they left. I would use them again I'm one of their club members.

We were very pleased. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They explained everything to us to which I really liked. They are very thorough when they do their job and they leave us a detailed report of what they think should be done if anything. They not pushy about anything. I have recommended them to other people.

He explained to me what he was going to do, so he was very informative. They send me reminders in the mail and they have been very good to deal with. I ask a lot of questions and they give good answers.

The technician arrived on time, looked clean and professional, and put on shoe covers in the house. He showed me what he was doing and why he was doing it. Performed the work quickly and efficiently. Gave suggestions for further maintenance but wasn't pushy.

The technician arrived on time, was clean and friendly. He worked efficiently both inside and outside reporting to me all that he did and the results of the tests on the heating and cooling equipment in the house. He answered all my questions fully. He asked about allergy problems in the house and suggested a disinfectant treatment. He also inspected the insulation in the attic to be sure we had enough. He said we did. Very through. We are on a service plan so they will do the inspection again in the fall.

They've always shown up on time, they're polite. They little booties on their feet so they don't track in anything. I think the price is great! I get billed $11.95 month for them to come out and service our units. There's an agreement that they'll show up within a certain amount of time of us calling. They promise under the plan that if there's ever a problem w/the system, we will get priority treatment.

Chris performed his work very well. I described a problem we were having with the furnace. Knowing right away what the problem was, he was able to fix it. While running the camera through the heat exchanger, he found what looked like a hole. He went through a lot of trouble to remove the exchanger to get a better look, and found it was just a spot on the exchanger - not a hole. I fully expected him to charge us for the additional time, but there was no charge. Although our furnace is about 19 years old, there was not so much as even a suggestion we need to have it replaced. After observing Chris, and getting the fair treatment we expected, we decided to sign up for their service program which is a good deal in itself. The cost of the program covered this visit. As long as we receive the great service, Action Air will be the first company we call when it comes time for service or replacement. More companies should use Action Air as an example on how to conduct business.

Action Air was the only company (of 4 called) that would come out on the day I called. Ryan arrived around the time they said he would and quickly replaced the defrost card. He was courteous, very patient with my questions, and wore show covers in the house. As a result of this service, I signed up for the annual maintenance plan (not included in the cost estimate above).

Chris got here promptly on a Monday morning. He brought shoe covers and drop cloths and went to work. He explained most common problems with our type of furnace and pointed out a number of the relevant parts while working. After showing us that the furnace was in good condition, he demonstrated that the noise mentioned above was coming from a damaged fan blade on the humidifier. He did not have a replacement part with him at the time, but planned to get us an estimate when the part was located. We were very satisfied with his work and the time he took to give us such helpful information on our furnace and humidifier.

The tech showed up on time and was semi polite. Called me bud (not Mr. or any other term with respect). Then said he was checking everything but never in my opinion did what he was supposed to do. I believe it was scare tactics to sell equipment and maintenance programs. It might work with older people but I was not suckered in by them.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Action Air. We were forced to purchase a completely new system when lightening struck our heat pump causing it to overload and melt the wiring etc. The salesman was very knowledgeable and even helped us navigate the insurance claim. The unit was installed quickly and professionally. We have since had regular service calls done on the unit and the associates who come to the house are very careful. They are are always covering the carpets, wearing shoe covers and vacuuming up when they are done.

They're responsive, punctual, clean, and polite, and do good work!

I was thrilled when I called at 6:00 pm on Wednesday night that someone answered the phone. I quickly learned that no matter what time you call, they answer the phone, what a great thing to know! They were prompt, professional and dealt with us in a fair manner. I appreciated their work and their willingness to work with us to make sure that we got what we needed at a fair price.

We asked Action Air for a quote along with 4 other vendors after selecting these from Angie's List. Mike came out and did a good job of explaining what they could do for us. We selected his bid because of the written warranty, and the recommendations of clients of the company. We liked the Goodman brand as they had merged with Amana 7 years earlier. The price was competitive. They came out the day after we called and replaced our system. The installers were very professional. They wore booties when they entered our home and were very informative and considerate. The job was completed in one day and they even returned the next AM to check. It has worked so much better than the old system and we have had no problems.

Upon arriving they told us that there were extensive problems with our two furnaces, to the point where we were scared to death that there could be carbon monoxide poisoning. We paid another company to come out for a full check up to make sure that our furnace was working correctly. They found that there was absolutely nothing wrong. We contacted Action Air, and they downplayed the inspection. We will never use action air again, and have since refused having them back home.
