Action Air Inc

Mark from sales arrived on time and quoted a system to A/C our home and del date. It arrived as quoted & installed immediately. We experienced several problems after install but they were addressed back time and then system is now operating currently well dressed, timely, customer oriented & friendly.

I think they did a great job. The installation of the furnace was done incorrectly however when we called them they came out and fix the work and cleaned up the water on the carpet.

I've been using them for several years now. I contracted them when they were very new in the neighborhood. I sign a contract with them every January. They come in the spring to get my air conditioning system ready and they come again in the fall to get my furnace ready. They make sure everything is working. They last came out in April. They were here for probably forty five minutes or close to an hour. They also give me priority if I have a problem. Lot of times when it gets hot, people finally find out that their air conditioning isn't working. If there is some problem that occurred with mine, I get first priority. If somebody just calls them to say that they have got a problem and if they are a normal customer, they have to wait in line. I like the fact that they are close and that they are here in Fishers. They are very responsive when they say they are going to be here and they also fix up an appointment according to your convenience. They did find that my furnace was getting old and this was probably four or five years ago. There was a crack in our burner which could have been very dangerous. They have a little machine that they could stick down to your furnace and check everything out. They could see the crack and they actually replaced my furnace with a new high efficiency furnace.

We have been Service Club Members for several years with Action Air...and once again it paid off this week! During the hottest week of the year, I came home from work to a house that was 88 degrees. Called Action Air and since we were Service Club Members, we were given even QUICKER service. Mark (our tech) was out to our house within 1 1/2 hours! He determined what he thought was the problem and got us running again. Two days later, the AC was out again. Mark returned again ( within the hour) and confirmed that our again AC unit had again taken a impending turn for the worse. ( Action Air had been telling us for years that our unit would fail at some point) Mark got us running again for the night. My husband was out of town, so the decision as to which unit to purchase was soley up to me. Mark explained the different types available., but did NOT pressure me at all to go with a more higher priced unit than our home needed. Mark's honesty made my decision easy! The next day, the installers came. They wore their "bootie" and laid down rugs throughout their path through the house to get to the needed connections. They even helped my son carry and load huge speakers into his car....ON THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR! Action Air has always been so good, friendly, kind and honest in their dealings with us. We are customers for life!

The contractor I called first, (Airtron) wanted to replace the whole thing, thousands of dollars. This is a good company. I will use them again in the future

I have only good things to say about Action Air Inc. Company. The people who came out were very personable. They came out and solved the problem. They installed the motor correctly. They were punctual. They did a good job. They made sure that everything was functioning well before they left. The air-conditioner is working fine since then. They were good people. I would use them again in the future.

They are so responsive. They call me to let me know when it is time to come out which is very nice. I pay in advance so it's nice to know they are honest about still completing the work without being reminded. They are so polite and they do a great job.

The workers from Action Air Inc. Company were professional which I liked. They were great. I would definitely recommend them. I would use them again in the future.

They were good. They were customer service oriented and they did their job well. I have a service agreement with them, for maintenance of these units every two months.

I've been really happy with them, they were really responsive when I was using them. He kind of just looked at what I had and didn't go through a lengthy evaluation of my heating and cooling needs. He didn't ask questions about if I was comfortable or anything like that. They were great at coming out and providing the quote. He ran late one time but that was miscommunication on my part because he called before to let me know. They are very nice, courteous, and friendly. I just don't think they did a thorough evaluation of what my needs are.

We got the HVAC system form another company but Action Air, Inc was wonderful and I absolutely love them. We just got a cheaper quote from someone else. I think their service is great and I love the people that work there. I think they are friendly and comprehensive.

Installation went well but, had to replace themostat twice because the furnance would come on but, the heat wouldn't kick in for about 45 minutes, but not all the time. This went on for about 2-3 months (can't remember exact dates) and then we asked to invoke the contract to have the furnance removed of fixed by end of December 2010. They sent another technician and one of the owners came out and went through the furnance and I believe they found a faulty wire and we haven't had any problems since. Action Air was always prompt and courteous to us and wanted to make us happy.

They are punctual and friendly. I haven't had to use them for any actual repairs yet.

Action Air has been taking care of our air conditioning problems since May 2010. They worked very hard to keep our old system running, with as little expense to us as possible, until it became clear that it was impossible to keep it going. They did not at any time pressure us to buy new equipment but when we needed it they provided us with many options. Their service is exceptional. They did not like the way the new unit "sounded" on the first maintenance visit and they voluntarily put in a new part at no cost to us. Their office and service people are very pleasant and professional.

While I am only reporting on this most recent service, I have had Action Air maintain my furnace and heat pump for many years and have always been impressed with their service and professionalism. On this occasion, I had them come out to inspect my heat pump, which was not functioning normally. Bill, the technician, informed me that my compressor was dead and then proceeded to offer pricing on a replacement part. Because I am in the middle of selling my home, I did not choose service at this time as that will be the new homeowner's decision.

They were punctual and did a good job. We had some other issues and they came back quickly.

Went extremely well. Estimate was handled within a few days of my initial call. Salesman was very informative and not pushy which I liked. Installation was fine although it started about 2 hours late and cleanup could have been a little better. But overall very satisfied and would definitely use this company in the future.

They were very neat, professional and courteous. They were top of the line as far as what you might expect from a company like that. I was very impressed.

This all really started about 4years ago,when I had a top of the line furnace installed,for $7000.00,by a now out of business furnace company.It lasted for 2 years,then things started going wrong,wires were sparking the heat pump stopped working.I tried contacting the company but they were out of business.(the person who put in the furnace was truly a nice guy too) I tried Action Air.They were wonderful! They tried to fix the problems as they arose.Then I asked if I should keep fixing it,I could tell he didn't know how to tell me that the furnace was totally installed wrong,I guess you don't have to have any kind of training or license to install furnaces.I had been ripped off big time! The guys at action air were so nice,personable,and explained everything to me,even the owner came out to see if he could do anything to get this furnace to work. I had the furnace.a very nice one,it just wasn't installed right. Needless to say,I asked action air to install another furnace AND heat pump. They did and even sent in the paper work so I would get my $1,500.00 rebate,which I did get. As they were leaving for the last time,they suggested I join Angie's List,which I did that day. It has been 1 year now and I haven't had any problems.But if I did I know they would come right out and do a superb job fixing it. Elaine

I have used Action Air for heating and AC maintenance service for several years, so when our AC stopped working I called them. Their technician charged us only $29 for a service call as we are service club members and indicated the circuit board in the furnace was going out. He temporarily rewired the AC to the electronic air cleaner circuit to get the AC cooling again, and provided an estimate of $650 to replace the circuit board. He also explained that with a ten year old unit we might be better off replacing the furnace, particularly given the discounts available during the summer on furnace replacement and the tax credits which expire at the end of the year. They sent the technician back at a later date and he provided estimates on both Goodman and Lennox units. I called him several times with questions and he always returned my calls promptly. He recommended Goodman over Lennox, but indicated this was primarily related to periodic difficulty getting Lennox parts. He indicated his compensation was not impacted by the brand I selected. I did significant research on both units, as well as obtaining competitive quotes on Lennox and Rheem units, and ultimately decided to accept Action Air's proposal on a Lennox furnace. Though I was not present for the installation, they did show up on time and completed the install in a timely manner. When I returned home I noted a whistling coming out of the air cleaner, that the vent leading from the humidifier was disconnected from the duct work and that there were several areas where significant amounts of cool air was escaping from the seam where the furnace connected to the main duct above the unit. I called Action air the next morning and they were very apologetic for the quality of the installation. They had a service technician out by 10AM and fixed the problems to my satisfaction - the unit is now very quiet, as advertised, and appears to be cooling more efficiently than the old unit. There is slightly more noise at certain vents, but given the better cooling I don't see this as a significant issue. The new unit also comes with free service club membership for three years, a savings of $430 over what I was previously paying, and Action Air provided all the necessary paperwork for me to obtain a $220 rebate from Citizens gas and a total of $1,473 in federal and state tax credits (though they did not tell me about the state credit, I found that on my own). Net cost of the unit will be $2,900, with a ten year parts and labor warranty on the entire unit. At $2,200 over the cost of replacing only the circuit board this turned out to be a real bargain and a good recommendation on their part. Action Air also provides a variety of guarantees their competitors do not, including a two-year trial, so if for any reason we decide we want a different unit during this period they will remove the Lennox and refund our entire purchase price. It is unlikely we will take advantage of this guarantee, but it provides some peace of mind should we have problems and decide we made a bad choice.

It went very good. They were very good at explaining what they are going to do and different options. Very timely in their appointment and finishing the job. Excellent service.

It went fantastic. The tech they sent out was very friendly, knowledgable. It's a joy to see him come when he does come out.
