I called up Doug to inquire about a piano that I recently came into possession of. It was a free piano (froma friend) and I was concerned w/ a slight odor. Doug gave me all the info to take care of cleaning myself and suggested that I give him a call to tune it after completing it. I appreciate that he didn't try to charge a service call (unlike most others I called) only to charge another when I would have needed it tuned again. Unlike others, he also said affirmed that my approach (which was letting my kids begin on this starter model until they clearly have exhibited passion for it - vs others who tried to convince me that playing on this model was not a stellar music experience and suggested I immediately come purchase a new one from them). He clearly knows what he is talking about, citing meticulous details of the precise model I had attained, and steps to clean it up. I will definitely call him when I need to tune it in a couple weeks after completely all stpes he suggested

Doug is very professional, yet personable. It is hard to find someone with his level of expertise who also understands that not all fixes are worth it for a family piano. He helped us understand what kind of fixes could resolve some of the specific issues, and where our best "bang for the buck" lies in working with a used instrument. I highly recommend Doug for not only piano tuning, but for helping maintain the piano with minor repairs.

Mr. Dale efficiently moved my spinnet piano and tuned it. It sounded great after he tuned it. He was very nice and professional.

My son slept through Doug's knocking at the time of the original appointment, but he very graciously rescheduled and the second attempt worked out fine. He did a nice job tuning the piano, and, when I called him the next day & asked for advice, helped me understand better whether I would need to replace it soon, and offered some recommendations as to what I might like to look at if I chose to replace it.

Mr. Dale arrived promptly at the appointed time. He opened the piano quickly and began to work immediately. He explained what he was doing and what we could expect as the piano could not be brought back to its optimum condition but would need a further tuning in two months. He even entertained us with some beautiful playing of his own, only not long enough! My daughter tells me Mr. Dale would do the second tuning for no charge.

Overall I think they did a great job, and if I needed to use them again I would. They were excellent.

Doug came out to tune our piano. The piano had not been tuned for the past nine years and now sounds wonderful. I would highly recommend his service.

I spoke to Mr. Dale and he happened to be able to squeeze me in the next day for my piano tuning (a gift my husband had requested for his birthday). Our piano had not been tuned for at least 10 years. He arrived the next day, on time, and removed his shoes (as it had snowed heavily that day). He stepped in the piano room and away he went. Approximately an hour later, our piano was all tuned up. Since our piano had not been tuned in so long, he said there was a risk of breaking strings, fortunately he was able to tune the piano without breaking any strings! He is very knowledgeable and experienced and adds humor while he works away at the piano.

If you have the opportunity to have Mr. Dale tune your piano, take the time to talk with him. He is a very interesting individual with a very positive outlook on life. He is passionate about the quality of his service and customer satisfaction. I would recommend him to anyone.

Doug Dale was responsive to my phone calls, arrived on time, was pleasant, went right to work, completed it and was helpful and informative about care and maintenance of my piano. He also tested his tuning with a short concert.

MR. DALE WAS PROBABLY THE MOST ARTICULATE AND OUTGOING PIANO TUNER I'VE EVEN HIRED. DEFINITELY THE MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT HIS OCCUPATION! HE EVEN RECRUITS PEOPLE TO HIS LINE OF WORK. HE RETURNED MY CALL THE SAME DAY. HE WAS ABLE TO TELL ME IN LAY TERMS WHAT WAS WRONG AND HOW TO MAINTAIN IT.

I WILL DEFINITELY BE HAVING HIM COME TO TUNE THE PIANO AGAIN.
