He is very professional and tuned my piano. I have no complaints. I will certainly use his service again.

Excellent service at a very reasonable price

We were very happy with them. He was very personable and very thorough. He seemed liked a gentleman. My wife was here and she had nothing but good things to say about him. We would absolutely use them again.

It went excellent. He was on time, very knowledgeable amd thorough and spent a lot of time explaining what he was doing and why.

Mr. Dale arrived on time and was very professional, yet friendly. He welcomed the attention of my 9 year old son who was very interested in seeing how the piano was tuned. He explained what he was doing to both of us, which was interesting. We were amazed to see him using the latest technology- an app on his I-Phone that showed the proper adjustments for the strings! He shared alot of good information as well as interesting stories about people he'd tuned piano's for (ask him to show you the You Tube video of Ms. Joanna Lange who, in spite of no use of her right arm any longer, played a beautiful left handed classical piece- he showed us this when he came in!) Mr. Dale played a few short pieces after the tuning to display that the piano was indeed in tune. It sounded beautiful. Please note that if your piano has not been tuned for quite some time, a second tuning will be required several months after the first as the strings tend to move back to their past situation. He was up front about this, which we appreciated. He also had a few piano teachers to offer as recommendations when I asked! Mr. Dale used to work as a premiere tuner for the Baldwin Piano Company and is thus very well-trained. He is someone you can feel comfortable with in your home. I highly recommend him.

After moving the piano during a carpet install, we called Doug to tune our piano. Literally, we were able to schedule for the morning after I contacted him. In addition to tuning, he found and fixed problems with some notes that needed immediate attention. He also pointed out some other issues we may want to revisit at a later time but which were not critical and did not require attention immediately. It was nice to have a single individual who could both tune the piano and who could fix virtually all the problems and do so at a good price. I highly recommend him.

We scheduled an appointment after I sent an email solicitation through Angie's list. Doug arrived at the scheduled time. He took excellent care of our instrument and recommended some "best practices" placement and service suggestions. Gave us the new customer discount. We will call him again.

Another tuner who had thought he could repair this piano had not been able to. He suggested I contact Meridian Music, who recommended Doug. Doug was able to repair the piano within minutes of arriving and then tuned it. He was very informative about the various things that could be done to the piano depending on the amount of money we wanted to spend, but did not push any additional services. He appeared very knowledgable.

He is great. He is so incredibly personable and nice. He is a genuine person. My piano teacher uses him and recommended him to me. I would continue to use his services again in the future too.

Doug Dale is an excellent piano tuner. He understands the stresses the instrument is under due to its nature as well as what weather and humidity will do to the instrument in coming months. With that in mind, he tunes the piano so that it will have the longest span of in tune playing possible. Doug is always courteous and prompt. He is direct and cares about the people he tunes for. He will give advice about care of the instrument because he wants the people he tunes for to experience the joy of playing. He tuned my piano while I was in the room. We had a lovely conversation about many diverse topics. My piano sounds wonderful now, so I don't cringe when playing or teaching voice lessons.

He had to take my piano apart, which he had not anticipated, but did with no complaints and very adroitly fixed the problem keys and put it all back together. He was not pushy about my next tuning and I felt very comfortable with him in my house. At one point I thought I might have to leave (my daughter was very ill) and I would have felt fine with leaving him alone in my house. He is a real person with a real talent and a very good ear!

He was extremely nice and arrived exactly when he said he was both visits. He is a wonderful person. He fixed many different things on my piano and did a great job with it. I thought I was going to have to get rid of my piano but he fixed it. He was very professional and has many contacts in the Indy area. He even fixed my piano bench. I would recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgeable with music.
