 + -1 moreThis is the third time we have used Miller Property services to move our household. Brad Miller and his assistant were prompt, courteous and careful with our belongings. We moved on short notice and Brad was able to fit us in and get us moved even though it was 4th of July weekend! Some of our belongings went to storage and they were great at moving those items in so that we could access them easily in the storage unit as needed. Brad is very professional and I wouldn't trust my belongings to anyone else.
Description of Work: Moved us out of a condo and into a new condo.

 + -1 moreI had a lot of dead spots in my lawn from the Great Drought of 2012. Brad came out, assessed the situation, and made a recommendation that he do core aeration, over-seeding using a slicer/slit seeder, and fertilize the new seed. The new grass came up looking beautiful in the fall. I got tons of compliments on the way my lawn recovered. I'll definitely be using his services again this fall, as will several of my friends.
Description of Work: Brad came out last fall to aerate, over-seed and fertilize my lawn. The price was fair and the results were great!

 + 2 moreWith the rain and Brad's schedule it was a little hard to find a time to get it done, but when we did, the work was excellent and was done when he said it would. My yard looks so good, I am having Brad come over once a month for several hours to keep it looking nice.
Description of Work: Edged walk, drive, beds. Sprayed weeds and grass in hard to mow areas. Hand weeded beds. Removed some old dog houses that were in the back yard. Turned and freshened mulch. Planted a small bush. Removed a dead bush. Tilled a small garden plot.

Brad had excellent reviews and I liked how he took the time to respond to each and every client - it really shows that he cares about the quality of his work and his client's satisfaction. We were relocating and in a time crunch to get our house on the market as quickly as possible. I contacted Brad and he was out to promptly give an estimate. He was very thorough with the process. We were very pleased with the services and recommend Miller Property Services without reservations! We sold our home in about three weeks and could not have done it without his help!

 + 0 moreBrad had one guy with him to haul all the carpet and heavy furniture out of our basement. He cut up the carpet in sections and carried it out. Then they lugged that furniture up the stairs. It was very heavy hard work and they got it all done in short time. He hauled it away and we were thrilled. The move with my Mother was not particularly easy, however he and his helper accomplished it in one day and one trip as promised. I had told him she might try to give him some money -- she has very little -- but not to take it as I would pay him for the move. True to his word, she handed him some money and when she didn't see, he left it lay on her table before he left. That speaks volumes to me. We felt very comfortable having him move her as he has also done landscaping for us and we have found him to be reliable, courteous, trustworthy, and just a down home kind of guy. We will continue to use his services in the future as needed.
Description of Work: He tore out old carpeting in our basement and hauled it away. He carried out an old couch that makes a bed -- very heavy furniture -- from our basement and disposed of it. And he carried out a heavy entertainment center from the basement and got rid of that. He also helped my husband carry large plywood sheets from our attic to our outside shed. He also moved my 82 yr old mother from an upstairs apartment in Tipton, IN to another apartment building in Fairmount, IN, approximately 30 miles apart. She was supposed to be packed when he arrived but she was not completely. We have moved her so many times we are exhausted with it so we hired him to do it without us even there.

 + -1 moreSent Brad an Email through Angies LIst asking him if he did slit seeding. He promptly answered back that he did, and so we set up an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time and ask what I wanted done. I told him I thought I wanted part of my yard slit seeded. He agreed, and said he would do the whole yard. He measured the yard and said he would get back on the price. He responded back promptly and gave me his price. I knew from meeting him, the Angies list reviews and his price, he was hired. It wasn't a mistake. He did my yard in an hour. He is a working machine and he does a good job. I will have him do some more work in the spring.

Description of Work: We had a tree removed that was surround with rocks and a new fence put in that need dirt removed. The tree had many roots that needed to be removed and the ground leveled. We had several area that needed rock and soil removed. The fence need soil removed under it to keep it from rotting.

He weeded out our beds, trimmed, put down mulch, and did an overall spring clean up. The place looked fantastic!! He even dug out a stump for a minimal cost even thought I had not requested in in the initial estimate. He is a very hard worker and extremely reliable. He was extremely thorough and accommodating. He did a final walk through with me, and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I was extremely pleased with him and would recommend him to anyone! He was also very reasonably priced!

Description of Work: Brad is an incredibly hard worker and very kind and courteous. Our yard and flower beds were in horrible condition and he did an outstanding job making them look so much better. He spent time with us walking around the house to be sure what we wanted and what needed done before he started the job. Brad made suggestions of what might be best in certain areas. He weeded, took out flowers that we wanted removed from the beds and put grass seed down in yard areas that needed it . He also trimmed small trees and bushes. Basically he did everything possible to make our yard look better. He is quite conscientious about his work. When the job was completed Brad did not leave until we walked around the house to make sure that all was accomplished and we were happy with his services. During the time we were scheduling he answered all calls that were made To him and returned all calls when we left messages For him. Brad did this work on a very hot, humid day with no complaints. We were very happy to meet the entire Miller Property Service Family. I would Highly recommend Miller's Property Services and will use them in the future again.

He also sprayed my 1.9 miles of fence to rid us of the weeds and did a fine job of that too - returning a second day to finish what could not due to his concerns with wind and areas of spraying that may have caused harm in people traffic areas. I would not hesitate to recommend Brad, and plan on using him again!

Description of Work: Brad Miller did a spring clean-up of our yard and mowed our lawn twice. The spring clean-up included cleaning up beds, laying down many yards of mulch, spreading grass seed in areas we wanted grass to grow, removing several bushes and small tree, removing brush and debris from these projects and much more. Mr. Miller was very knowledgeable about different plants and their needs. He finished the work while we were out of town. When we returned, our yard looked incredible! We almost didn't recognize it. Mr Miller worked very diligently on this job and we couldn't be more pleased. We plan to have him back in the fall to prune and shape our hedges among other things. Mr. Miller also mowed our lawn while we were out of town and did a great job.

Brad is great at making suggestions to improve the look of the yard without spending a fortune. He removed dead bushes and replaced them with ones that look much better in the space. He trimmed shrubs, planted grass seed and fertilized in my front and back yards.I have gotten many compliments from neighbors and they all ask for Brad's name. I called on a Wednesday evening and Mr. Miller met me Thursday morning for a quote. I wanted to be sure the price was good so I elected to wait to see instead of moving forward at that time. I called Mr. Miller back later that day and he was out that same day to do the job. My wife commented on how wonderful of a job he did. He was very pleasant and professional!
