They did a great job. I have no complaints what so ever. Todd, the owner, was very professional and punctual. Greg, was the painter and I was so impressed with him. They were very flexible because we had a strict budget and they really worked with us to meet our budget.

WE LOVE THIS COMPANY!!! Todd Carmel the owner is a wonderful man to work with and there was no doubt in our minds about using his company again, this time to paint out Master Suite after the excellant work his company had done on our house previously. Todd gave us the same painter Flynn, he is a great guy and a hard worker, he's very courteous and respectful of our property. Todd goes that extra mile to make sure you're 100% happy with the work performed. At the time of the work we were also having a new bathroom suite installed and were having problems with the bathroom contractor not being able to produce a quaility finish on the bathroom walls. Todd stepped in, made sure we were ok as he could see we were upset by the bathroom contractor and the mess he was making. Todd told us not to worry and that once the contractor had finished in the bathroom he and Flynn would come back take care of the repair to the walls and repaint them. Todd was true to his word, he and Flynn came back once the bathroom contractor had finished and did the repairs and repainted the walls all at no extra cost to us, how many companies can you say would do that!! Thanks to The Painting Edge we have a truly beautiful Master Suite!

Todd and his crew are extremely professional and competant in their work. In the initial inspection in preparation for the job, Todd noted several areas that needed repair that we had not noticed (e.g., ceiling repair). The work was performed on time as projected and very professionally completed. This is the second time we have used The Painting Edge (they painted our exterior trim last summer). While more costly than other estimates we received, we believe that the additional cost was worth it.

I met with owner Todd Cartmel in advance of the job to know what to expect and review what preparations I needed to make prior to the start of the job. Todd Cartmel's team did a fantastic job. The lead painter on the job had completed finishing/refinishing training and was very skilled. The 2-man team showed up on time each morning. They were courteous and respectful of our home. My only frustration was that I had asked if I needed to empty the cabinets before the work was to start and I was assured I would not need to do so. However, when the painting team arrived the first day, the first thing they told me was that the cabinets needed to be emptied. They helped me do this, but I would rather have done the work myself in advance so I would know where everything was being put. Instead I had to quickly find enough table space to empty out all of my cabinets in a matter of minutes. Mr. Cartmel was very apologetic (it had been a long time since he'd had a cabinet painting job) and granted me a small discount on my final bill as a gesture, which I appreciated. There was a one-week delay in the start date due to staffing changes, but my schedule was flexible enough that I could accommodate. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the work The Painting Edge team did. I also liked the fact that they will come back in six months after the paint has fully cured to see what touching up needs to be done. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Painting Edge.

I did not end up using Todd's company because I needed to have the siding replaced. But I liked Todd---he was patient, took his time explaining what needed to be done, and responded to my calls promptly. I appreciated his time and input.

They(the crew) are very professional but also very very nice.They were neat and didn't leave anything out when they left at night.They were punctual everyday and only took 30 minutes for lunch,they never stopped once.I will hire thme next spring to finish the outside of the house,they just did the trim,doors and deck this time,which was a huge job.I would give them a A++++if I could......

The project went well. Todd and I met to discuss the project, price, and start date. He provided a written quote through email and USPS. Upon receipt of the proposal, we established dates for the project and he delivered on his promise. Another job completed to my satisfaction.

This was the best painting experience I ever had. Despite all of the drywall repair that had to be done, at the end of each day there was NO MESS. I don't know how they did it, but there was no mess for me to see. Every day, the team arrived promptly at 8 am, and stayed until about 4 PM. They were so quite I hardly knew I had anyone in the house. The patch jobs on the walls are completely invisible. You would NEVER know that our walls needed repair. Plus, they were meticulous. The trim end edge work is ruler-straight. No drips. No mistakes. It's beautiful. Plus, the whole process was very organized. Todd made an appointment to see me the week before so that we could go over exactly what would be painted, plus talk about room prep. When the project started, I knew exactly what room would be worked on each day, and what to expect. This was worth every single penny I paid. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After contacting a company that had done painting work for us in the past and receiving no response, I selected The Painting Edge from the pages of the Yellowbook as a possible contractor for our job. The owner, Todd Cartmel, promptly responded to my request for an estimate and was able to come see the job at a time very convenient for me. After taking a look at the job and understanding what I wanted done, he offered suggestions for my job that made me confident he knew how to make the surfaces to be painted look wonderful. He even provided me with some tips to save money on the job. Prior to beginning the job we sat down to do a project overview. We discussed the painter who would handle the job, we determined the order in which the job would proceed and where supplies would be stored and we discussed entry and exit from the home to ensure the security of my home. The actual job started about two days late due to circumstances beyond the control of The Painting Edge. Once the job began, the work was quick and efficient and there was truly little disruption in our home which is saying alot since I stay at home. Most importantly, the results were beautiful. Room edges were crisp and clean and surfaces were evenly and thoroughly coated. I was very pleased with the outcome and must mention the painters responsible by name, Flynn and Paul. One thing I'll mention is that we could have opted to go with a company that gave us a cheaper quote, but you get what you pay for and we paid for quality, which is exactly what we received. That said, the price was extremely good and Todd even gave us a discount on top of a coupon because the job started a few days behind schedule. We would definitely go back to The Painting Edge for future painting work.

The exterior is in progress, we are waiting for a period of time when there isn't any rain. For the interior we went through room by room and decided what needed to be done. They were able to match the paint to exactly what we had. They repaired all the nail holes and all the damage from stuff that was on the walls. The walls have been completely repainted and now it looks like new, it really looks nice. Some of the rooms didn't need all of the walls painted. They repaired the stairwell where we had many pictures hanging and you would never know there was anything there. I like that they are very versatile, they paint, stain, repair, etc. They will be doing some stain repair for us when the weather is better. We have been adding on jobs as the work goes and they are very good about emailing and mailing me updates about what additions are being added onto the initial estimate. They are very good.

Drywall was repaired for minor flaws throughout and corner area around bedroom window to repair damage from heavy window bracket. Choose neutral colors for main areas on different walls. Crew did a nice job of seaming the colors together. Todd and crew were responsive to our questions and any concerns we had along the way, including a follow up list. Will use them again.

They did great work. They were very responsive. We went through a lot of different colors and every time I would ask for a color, I would get it. He even painted large poster boards so I could hold those up. When I finally agreed on the colors and they painted the house, I was just really pleased with their work. I liked that they painted rather than sprayed. It was more expensive, but their work was superior and worth it.

The job went exactly as scripted. This was the second time we have used The Painting Edge and they continue to meet and exceed our expectations.

First, we got an estimate from the owner of the company, Todd Cartmel, who is very professional, punctual & knowledgeable. Not long after, the work was scheduled. Both employees (one doing repair, one doing the painting) were on time, very capable at their jobs, courteous, quiet, professional & did excellent work. Both areas look outstanding, the work was done in exactly the time (slightly under) they predicted & at the cost estimated, exactly! I would recommend this company to anyone who needs wall repair &/or painting done. We will surely use them again when we want to have other rooms in our home (or possibly exterior areas) painted. They've painted other interior areas of our home before & the work is beautiful! A+

Todd is a pleasure to work with. As an out of state landlord, I appreciate his willingness to work with my schedule and my tenants to get the job done. He is prompt, courteous, and very professional. These guys are great! The painting quality was superb. They did not spray anything. They only use brushes and rollers, so the job is very controlled. They cleaned up every day, and the workers were respectful. Immediately following their job, a different repair person had to replace some rotten boards, and the Painting Edge even came back and painted the wood the repair person was supposed to do. The work they did was way above and beyond what was asked or expected! Will definitely only use this company for all of our painting needs.

This company was the most professional of all the contractors involved in the 100,000 dollar repair of our home. They came when they said they would. They cleaned up after every little thing they did. They did a perfect job, The owner painstakenly matched the old colors that had been on the wall and came and checked on his workers workmanship each day they worked. He made sure that we were completely satisfied. He had wonderful prices. The drywall team and tile guys were jerks that left quite a lot of mess for their company to compensate for and there was never any complaining on their part about it. In hind sight I wish I had hired this company to do a larger percentage of the jobs - we would have had a lot less headache.

They had scheduling commitments. They called up when they said they would call up. The supervisor, Tod Partmel, came out twice before they started the work just to make sure that he had understood the scope of the project. We were very pleased.

His work was excellent. I had a couple of different approaches to it and I liked what he had to say. Interestingly enough, my two top picks were within $15.00 of each other on their quotes and I just chose him because he'd get at it sooner and his approach sounded best to me.

It was great. We discovered some problems along the way. Todd has been helpful to recommend another Angie's List service vendor to help us. The Painting Edge staff was excellent in cleaning up after themselves each day and were extremely easy to work with. Communication was a daily occurrence. The house looks so wonderful. They are fairly expensive but given the quality of work, I now understand why since the job was very labor intensive. Todd has been a very good resource and works with his customers. I am very glad to have called him.

I use this company for all my painting and wallpaper work because they show up when promised, dressed professionally, show care and concern for my home, are careful to cover everything, very neat and clean up each day before they leave. I was not disappointed this time either as the workmanship and their work ethic was what I expected it to be. An excellent painting project once again from beginning to end.
