Todd and his team, one painter and one drywall finisher did a great job! They did three bedrooms by priming the walls and butter coating the walls in two rooms and one wall in the other bedroom and the ceiling including re-texturing. Some of the work was outside the initial quote and reasonably quoted. The only issue that arose was that there was in my opinion an over-cautious amount of re screwing the field. This caused nearly 3 days of extra work. Todd did a great job of making everything right when it came to rectifying the balance. The work is fantastic, and I will consider the painting edge in the future. Thanks, Todd!

We were very pleased with them. They were kind of efficient. I was time conscience because we were having a party and needed people to stay in that room and he basically came in with his crew. They were here and within a couple of days they had done all that and were out. He just had his guys come in and they stayed here and worked until they were done. They told me when they were coming and they were here when they told me and they did it. I could have gotten it done it for less money but sometimes you pay for the efficiency of it and they did good work.

We have used Todd and his company's services a couple times in the past (originally from Angie's List), and he has never failed to deliver. This time was for a complete exterior paint of our home. We tried to sneak it in before the weather turned last fall, but didn't make it, so Todd had us lined-up for first thing in the Spring. Todd also helped us to think through color selections and schemes as we were changing from a solid color to a separate trim, field and shutter color scheme. He was instrumental in walking us through the details of this. Once work began, his foreman Chris was introduced to us and became our daily contact. Chris was outstanding! There could not have been a better representative for Todd's company, he was the definition of customer service. He was also great with his crew and worked whenever they could around the weather to get the whole project done in about 2 weeks between rain. They fixed damaged wood (as we have an all cedar sided home), recaulked, and painted everything via roller and brush. These guys did a fantastic job. We needed to have this done prior to a graduation and I can tell you since that time we have received so many comments from many people to our house to the effect of "your painters did an outstanding job, the lines are crisp and it looks like a brand new house". We have had several requests for Todd's info and have been happy to pass it along. I would highly recommend him, his company and his crews, you will not be disappointed.

I called this company about 5 years ago when I was trying to remove wallpaper in my kitchen and the dry wall was coming off with it. Todd and his guys came in and took care of everything. They got the paper off, repaired my walls and painted. In some areas above my cabinets, they even sealed the wallpaper seams and painted over it. All these years later, it still looks great, so when we needed our 4 pillars in front of our house painted, we knew who we wanted to call. I was really glad to see that Todd's business is thriving and they were still around for us to hire. They have done a beautiful job both times that we have hired them, and they are always so pleasant and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend the Painting Edge.

I contacted the provider because of the excellent ratings on Angie's List and because it was a local company. I had had to have a pipe repair on the outside water faucet, which required the plumber to cut a hole in the drywall in the living room. I called with an explanation of the job and had a return call the same day. Todd was able to come and give me a quote either the next day or two days later at the end of the week. He emailed the quote and I made an appointment for the work to be done. Because this was in response to an inspection involved with the sale of the house, Todd went out of his way to get the work done ASAP. He was polite, e and professional. He sent the drywall person who did an excellent job. You can't tell where the patch was. Cleaned up after the work. I have already recommended Todd to another person. He's your person for drywall work done at a reasonable price in a good time frame.

The service was great. They started the work when they said they would and they did the work on the weekend to get it done quickly. They were professional, great to work with, and they went above and beyond. They were meticulous with the work and they were as un-intrusive as they could be.

Finally! A home improvement project that turned out so well, it actually exceeded our expectations! Todd was a pleasure to work with. He was the most organized contractor I have ever worked with. He returned all calls immediately, and communicated with us throughout the week long job to let us know what would be happening next. His crew did an excellent job and took care of some difficult problem areas in the bathroom and bedroom. When they left, the house was immaculate. The job started and finished exactly on time which was important to us because we had other contractors scheduled before and after. We can highly recommend The Painting Edge and will use them in the future.

Todd the owner is very impressive but his price was two times the amount of another estimates I received. He knows what he is doing and is knowledgable.

Todd has done three interior painting jobs for me (one for sister) and I have been pleased with all. One job involved a repair on a water damaged ceiling. I had several other bids for that job but they were all more than I was willing to spend. Todd gave me the most reasonable offer and he did an excellent job. It was not easy because he had to match a "popcorn" ceiling which was a challenge. It is a good match! He has also painted a home for me prior to listing it for sale. He worked well with the flooring contractor, he painted and then came back after we put in carpet for touchup. He was competitive with his bidding but did not skimp on quality. It is very difficult to compare bids for a large paint job: for instance, how many coats of paint? Todd helped me process the difference in the bids and worked for my business. He has been great to work with.

They were reliable and easy to work with. They are high quality. They arrive when they said they would. They had the work done when they said they would.

Todd Cartmel called back almost immediately to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Todd was upfront from the onset that his schedule was already into early summer, in case that didn't work for me. Initially that was a concern, but ultimately I decided to have Todd come as I discovered other painters were running a similar schedule. Todd was also upfront that some of the carpentry repairs we required prior to painting, were beyond his expertise, and recommended a handyman, by name. It was a difficult decision between the three A-rated Angie List businesses that I called, but ultimately I decided to go with a different painter.

Todd arrived on time and presented himself very professionally. He was cordial and answered all my questions directly. The estimate was presented in a timely manner. The only thing stopping me from hiring The Painting Edge is the cost of interior painting on a general basis. Todd's pricing was a bit more expensive than other bids received, however, The Painting Edge would have been the company I contracted with if I was able to complete the project at this time.

I plan to use them anytime I need painting done. They are great. They are very professional and do excellent work. The men on the crew are very polite. I would highly recommend them. The price may be a little higher, but you get what you pay for. The exterior painting they did five years ago still looks great and we received a lot of compliments on the work.

Todd and Shane were a pleasure to work with across the board. Very prompt and helpful from start to finish. Todd was on top of things from the beginning and helped us select a color that fit the room and our personal preferences. I am not easy to please but Shane did a phenomenal job with the repairs, caulking, and painting. As close to perfect as you can get from my perspective. Will definitely use in the future for all my painting needs.

I started painting the trim of one large room and after many hours of difficult and time consuming work, I called for help. Todd and the Painting Edge came out on a SUNDAY and with only 2 days notice. I not only appreciate the fast completion, but really appreciate the flexibility of working me in when they were busy during the week. Richard who came out to paint did a really nice job, much better and faster than I!!

|Based on Todd's initial response, and his willingness to breakout the various rooms so that we can budget for the work to be done, we are hoping we can get some of the work completed toward the end of the year. I take additional comfort in the fact that in addition to the great ratings for the company on Angie's List, a colleague of mine also highly recommended the company.

They are flat out incredible!!! Todd came out very quickly, and gave a competitive estimate (I always shop 3 places at least). He was able to get Shane out only days later, on a Sunday no less. We had used Shane before, and he is amazing. Professional (always polite and taking his shoes off) and very skilled. His work truly is amazing. Trust me. Use TPE, and Shane if you can get him. Dr. G

We found him on Angie's List. It was excellent! He was great! Our house has wood siding and we have a wooden fence, a wooden deck, and a wooden patio. With limited budget, he helped us figure out what we should spend our money on first. It was more like a consultation rather than just showing up and doing what we ask.

It was a pleasure to work with Todd and his team. From the beginning to the end of the process everything went smoothly. Both Todd and his crew were very professional. Todd came out to review the project and provided a detailed quote within a couple of days. Todd and his crew were very punctual and accommodating throughout the the entire process. Todd kept us informed throughout the project. Todd covered every detail from making sure our "newly" drywalled areas were up to par to draping (with plastic to reduce dust) off one room from another to removing all of the outlets prior to painting. They also removed their shoes and draped the floors with cloths to eliminate dust and footprints. Shane knew every persons name in my family and addressed us by name every time he saw us. I thought this was a nice touch for so early in the morning. Shane was so professional even asking if it was okay if he listened to music and if a particular type would be "appropriate". We of course agreed it was fine, because we liked the same station. :) Todd and his crew were great we are very happy with our entire experience. Todd came and provided the estimate, which beat the other 2 companies that provided quotes as well. Todd's painter Shane arrived early and completed the work in just over 6 hours. I've only had experience with one other painting company, which was awful, so Shane's professionalism and expertise were refreshing. Not only did he tape everything off (including the ceiling), he went over some areas twice without asking because he was concerned the flaws would show through. After my previous poor experience with my first paint company, this was refreshing and a relief. Taping off all the edges ensured an exact paint area, and when Shane completed everything the walls and ceilings looked new. I will be using this company again and asking for Shane.

Todd and his crew were wonderful to work with from start to finish. Todd helped us understand our options concerning his crew preparing the surfaces to be painted, optimal color choices relative to our efforts to get our house sold and negotiated in good faith with us on the overall price prior to work beginning. I was in a rush to complete some much needed painting prior to a holiday party at my home. There were places from moving in that needed to be addressed in a downstairs hall, staircase, kitchen and upstairs hall area. I called Todd the owner just two days prior to needing it done and he made it happen. He immediately sent someone out to survey the work and then the next morning the same man (Brian) was in our home completing the job. He was super professional, timely and did an outstanding job. We have for sure found our new permenant painter for the future. This was a great and very pleasant experience. I should also note that he did not ask for any payment upfront, he seemed to more more concerned with getting our pairing done in time for the party. This is yet another reason that we will be using them many more times in the near and distant future.
