Description of Work: Was able to work in my daughter s car quickly . Floorboard had standing water. Fixed problem but when to there was still water in car. Told me I had to take it down the street and vacuum water out. Said they didn't own a shop vac. Hard to believe that. When my daughter was driving the car on the highway 30 minutes later the hood came up Again someone didn't finish the job of closing the hood completely. I wrote a letter to the owner and he didn't respond. For almost 3 weeks. I was not happy with his response. Will NOT be returning.

Description of Work: I had been given an estimate of $9,000 for a new transmission at a dealer (on a $7,000 car), but I knew that I didn't need a new transmission. I just needed someone who was willing to remove a few shards of unwanted detritus from the current transmission. Miller was willing to do this for a fraction of the cost of a new one--an option that was not even offered by the dealer. Yay Miller!

Description of Work: They were very good with their estimates and the work was done very well. The only negative I would say is that they kept our car longer than anticipated, but they did do a little work for us without charging us. They went above and beyond.

Description of Work: Routine oil change. Replaced A/C compressor with Reman unit. A/C works great, but when the A/C is running there is now an audible whine present when it is on; a whine that changes with engine speed. At first I thought it was the transmission, but it is clearly the compressor. I haven't had a chance to take it back in because of some international travel. Overall, they were great to work with and I will recommend them if anyone asks about local shops.

Description of Work: Auto was making unnatural noise. They diagnosed problem (water pump) and also mentioned my brakes were going. I had been told several months ago by the dealer that my brakes were bad. They gave me an estimate which turned out to be accurate, and did the work yet that day.
