Description of Work: As a result of using Angie’s List, we did discover Langenwalter Carpet Cleaning. While their information indicated that they do not service Montgomery County, we decided to try anyhow. Steve, from Langenwalter, came to our site, Trippet Hall, a Conference Center, and walked through the building. We had chairs, a synthetic carpet with high traffic and spills and a large wool carpet. They arrived on time and cleaned all of the furniture and carpet. The only problem occurred when they were cleaning the chairs. We found the mist that we encountered when entering the room where the chairs were being clean to be very irritating. We were amazed that Steve and his coworker were not wearing protective masks. Steve assured us that it was not toxic. Four of the chairs had significant body oil impregnated on the arms so that the arms were dark and shiny. To our amazement and satisfaction, after their cleaning, the chairs now look almost as good as new with no evidence of staining on the arms. We were also pleased with their cleaning of the carpet. They removed a coffee stain which we had been unable to remove after repeated tries as well as several wine stains. Spots on a carpet which we were unable to remove after repeated tries are now gone. They were able to remove all of the stains. They also took great care in cleaning the wool carpet and gave us good advice on maintaining the carpet. We would not have contacted them had we not seen their report in Angie’s List, Since we had a full day of cleaning, we thought that they would come to Crawfordsville so we ignored their service area limitation and contacted them directly. Fortunately, they agreed to make a site visit and then to clean the carpets and furniture. We would rate them at the highest level and have no reservations of either recommending to others or hiring them for other cleaning on campus.
