The young lady that provided the design work was very knowledgeable ad professional. If I decide to remodel the kitchen, I would definitely consider this company.

When we arrived for our appointment at Kitchen Masters a week and a half later. we discovered that she only had one design. The design was not feasible as it required that we sacrafice two rooms adjacent to the kitchen. Plus the cost of doing so was almost equivilant to buying another house! I asked her about the other two designs that were promised in the deal. She generated another one while we waited. We talked about this design and decided it too would not work in our house. Granted, the design challenge was not an easy one. Our home's layout is such that it requires walls to be knocked down etc., but that's why we wanted an expert opinion. I asked about the 3rd design which she obviously did not have. At that point she asked me to fax her more photos that she admitted she should have taken herself. I faxed them within the next couple of days and I have not heard from her since. Overall, I felt short-changed because we didn't get to see a 3rd design which was part of what I paid for. I received no follow up call either. The experience left a sour taste in my mouth and so, no, I would not use Kitchen Master again as they did not deliver on what they said they would.

The lady who came out was very nice, but when I actually asked her for recommendations she looked at me blankly. All I got out of this deal was a quote, which I already had, what I wanted was help.

They were responsive and fast. They sent a designer to our house. She looked over our kitchen and a few weeks later provided two floor plans showing how we could remodel the kitchen. One issue I did have is that we have several windows in the kitchen and specifically discussed our desire to keep the windows and keep the kitchen full of natural light. Both of the plans called for the elimination of all but one, or in one case, all but two windows. I felt that if I were willing to remove the windows I could come up a with a new floor plan myself. Our real goal was a new design that would keep the windows---I wanted their expertise because it's a tricky design problem. We were truly just exploring options at that point and have not yet remodeled our kitchen. They did do a follow up call with us by phone to see if we were moving forward or had any questions. I'm sure the designer probably spent more than 4 hours on our plan (which was the initial offering) but we were not charged any additional fees. Included in the floor plans (which we were given to keep) was a meeting at the Kitchen Master office with the designer and another KM employee. This was not a particularly hard sell meeting and they were very thorough.

They called me several times to try to set an appointment, but I was never available.

Used the Big Deal for initial layout of our kitchen remodel. Very helpful service to get your head around what the possibilities are. Allison was extremely helpful and dliigent in refining / channeling our direction. We would have purchased cabinets and additional services except our final selection of cabinets wasn't easily accessible (mostly because we were pursuing an unique retro style). Overall service and value was outstanding. Nice job all around from our perspective. If we can use them for future work, we will. Highly recommend! In a short conversation, you will feel the value offered by Kitchen Master!

I was happy with the service they performed. They did a lot of work for the minimal amount we paid them.

At this point there is not much to tell. We had our original meeting where Allison measured my kitchen. She then returned to her office and developed a plan for a remodel job that my husband and I both like. We are now awaiting the estimates.

They're delightful as usual. I found them to be very easy to work & talk with. Their kitchen designer was very sweet. I just wasn't prepared to make any big moves at this time.

We were happy with the whole experience. Ashley was thorough in her questioning and presented herself in professional manner. We look forward to working with Ashley and the Kitchen Master crew in the future.

Setting up the appointment and the onsite visit went well. It was easy to schedule an appointment time, and Lauren was prompt and was professional and very helpful during her visit. My only issue with the experience is that I was given a delivery date for the drawings, which was not met, nor was I contacted in advance that the promised due date would not be met. The delivery date had to be adjusted twice before the drawings were received. Each time, I had to call and ask for the status of my drawings rather than being notified in advance.

She came in and gave us some estimates about the work. It was a little more expensive than what we wanted to pay. They sent an email later saying they wanted to try to re-evaluate the work and try to get the cost down. The layout and diagram was very professional.

I purchased this Big Deal shortly after buying my house. I have a bathroom that does not have a shower (due to low ceilings) and I wanted to see how much it would cost to re-do the bathroom and see if there was any way to add height without raising the roof (historic house so it is very difficult to get approval to make changes to the outside). I had them come out shortly after I purchased the Big Deal and they took several measurements. A week later I received a voicemail stating and it was not feasible to add in a shower without raising the roof. Since they were unable to provide a quote or design, they did offer to let me use their pricing at a tile place. A few months went by and I contacted them again asking to complete the quote and design, but this time include raising the roof so that it would pass code. At this point, the man who originally came to my house was no longer with the company, and apparently the measurements he took of my place went with him. They had to come out again to measure. A week went by and I then had to drive to their place in Brownsburg to go over the design and quote. The design was nothing spectacular. I had told the original person that I wanted to keep the feel of the age of the house in the bathroom (ie keep the claw foot tub if at all possible). The design I was given converted my charming (yet not very functional) bathroom into something you could find in any house. Additionally, the price tag was huge...20% of the value of my house (I'll admit, I didn't buy the most expensive house in Indy, but I didn't buy a complete fixer-upper either). I have since talked to a few other places and been given rough estimates (no formal quotes) that are significantly less than what I was quoted. Currently, this entire project is on hold, so I do not know for certain how much it would actually cost to do this project, but I do not see myself spending 20% of the value of my home to do 1 of 2 bathrooms in my house.

We purchased a Big Deal to have 3D rendering done for a project to finish our basement. Glenn and his team promptly scheduled an appointment with us and spent a good amount of time trying to identify our needs and desires. They were very informative and had excellent design ideas. They were able to manage our expectations based on the layout of our basement and budget and he was able to implement our ideas flawlessly. We would definitely recommend Glenn and his team. They go above and beyond to build a relationship so they can exceed your expectations

I contacted kitchen master initially as they sell the cabinets which are installed in my kitchen. I also invited their kitchen designer to come to my home. She was delightful, and offered several ideas to address my needs.

Found the company at the 2011 Home Show. Glenn came to my house shortly after that to assess and give recommendations (despite a raging ice storm!) Glenn had some innovative and space enlarging ideas which were incorporated into the plans. Work included tearing out a wall between kitchen and dining room; vaulting ceiling in breakfast room area; installing new drywall, ceiling, cabinets,lighting and appliances. The rooms were also rewired to replace very old electrical wiring. Glenn was very responsive to problems which arose and dealt with them assertively and rapidly. The finished rooms are unique, functional and beautiful.

Kitchen Master turned my basement bathroom from a dark cave to a bright attractive oasis! Glenn had great ideas for beautifying the shower area including a teak wood shower floor and custom glass door. The crew installed new vanity with granite top, ceiling, cabinets and lighting. Some complications arose with the scheduling due to suppliers' delivery lateness, totally beyond the control of Kitchen Master. The finished product is totally awesome. They get to redo another bathroom next year!!!

This company completed good quality work. They were also very punctual and I always knew what time they were coming each day. The owner did a good job of telling me to call if I had questions. They always left the work site in a good, clean condition each day.

This evaluation is not based on actual kitchen remodeling, but on the deliverance of promised plans.

They were good. I would use them in the future.

First contact was by a phone call from Phillip Weitlauf, setting up an appointment. He arrived punctually and very quickly understood our needs and problems with the existing bathroom. Suggestions were right on track, thorough, and professional. At his suggestion, we agreed to meet later with Glenn & Phillip at the company's office in Brownsburg. It went quite well and we were given sufficient time, only learning late in the meeting how high the costs were to be. Following up after digesting Glenn's cost estimates, we learned that Phillip was on a leave of absence but in following calls it was "vacation" and in a final phone conversation that he was on an "extended vacation". We told the woman answering the phone who was most likely Phillip's replacement, since we were so pleased with Phillip's services we preferred to continue with him. There has been no response since. We no longer want to do business with this company and do not suggest it to anyone else.

We met at their office and they didn't come out to our house. We saw them at the home show and we talked to them there and they provided us with a quote. They seemed knowledgeable but they seemed young. We thought that one of the people had experience, but we were not sure of the rest of the team. They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. We were a little nervous that it might have been too big of a job for them. Our experience with them was fine. They were fine but we decided not to go with them based on our instincts. We would recommend them to other people.

We purchased a "Big Deal" from Angie's List for a Custom Kitchen/Bathroom Remodeling Design and Consultation with Plans. This was supposed to be a $450 value which we got for $50. We were very excited about this, as we had some ideas of what we wanted to do in our kitchen remodel, but wanted some expertise on how to translate these ideas into viable plans. However, all we got was an estimate sheet with an approximate break down of prices for the previously mentioned services. It was basically a parroting of what we said we wanted and nothing more. No ideas, no design, no real consultation and NO PLANS. The whole appointment took less than 45 minutes, with the bulk of that time being devoted to working up an estimate. We have had several different companies come to give us estimates, at no charge, and received better service. The representative from Kitchen Master was very pleasant and polite, but really gave us no help at all. I feel like we wasted our $50.

I scheduled an estimate for some repair work and to have an unfinished bathroom finished out (everything from top to bottom). Their rep was over an hour and a 1/2 late to our initial appointment and I had to call their office to ask where he was. Then I was told my estimate would be emailed to me within 3 business days. It has now been 13 days since their initial visit and we have called twice to find out why we have not received an estimate. Very unprofessional and discourteous. Would not use them now even if they came back with an estimate today.
