Jeff and Greg are hands down the most pleasant and honest mechanics you'll find. They never upsell work that doesn't need to be done, always err on the side of pragmatic, money-saving advice. They don't make promises they can't keep...they'll tell you when they can fit you in, and they'll get the work done that day. When something is discovered that changes the estimate, you can be sure you get a call. I had them call me apologetically to authorize a $1.50 gasket part that wasn't in an original estimate!! Nothing beats being able to trust your auto mechanic when there are so many incompetent crooks out there. Go with Bergman and you won't be sorry.

They are excellent. They have been fantastic every time I use them. They are honest. They did a great job. They give me a heads up, so they don't do anything wihout asking me first. The best mechanics I ever dealt with. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

As always. a very satisfactory experience with Bergman's.  Cost was reasonable, in fact a bit lower than I expected for the CHMSL replacement.  Never pushed to do anything that isn't necessary to the repair.

Went perfectly and affordable as always.  I dropped off the truck without an appointment on Friday and it was completed by noon on Tuesday.  I let them know I was in no hurry as it's not my daily driver.  I normally make an appointment with Bergman because they are sometimes backed up - - a testament to their quality service.  I've been going there for nearly 10 years and not once had a problem that wasn't ultimately fixed.  Jeff and Greg are the most honest mechanics I've encountered (and I know my way around an engine).  They're realistic with customers.  Multiple times they've advised me NOT to have certain work done, either because of the age/value of the vehicle or because the cons ($$$) outweighed the expected performance improvement.  A great go-to shop.

Everything went well and I got my truck back when it was needed. I will used Bergman Automotive again. Great experience.

I've used Bergman Automotive numerous times over the years, and I trust them completely.  Furthermore, they do good work and charge competitive prices.

Bergman's very pleasant and straightforward service have won our business.
I called & made an appointment to have the front brake pads and rotors of our '97 Bonneville replaced, also thinking a ball joint needed replacement.  We got an estimate over the phone the same day.
 
Turns out the ball joint was fine, so we came in way under the estimate which made us very happy.  Highly recommended.

This is the auto shop I've been looking for most of my adult life. I can't recommend them highly enough.
The two brothers who own the business are honest, affordable and do excellent work. This the second time I've used Bergman and it has become my favorite repair shop. For this repair, we were getting an of and on again engine warning light.  The car wasn't giving him an error code so he paid attention to the information I gave him about the symptoms and tracked down the problem. As soon as he found a sensor leaking oil, he knew he had found the culprit.
I used them about four months earlier for another repair on our trouble plagued minivan. It was leaking power steering fluid and they tracked that problem down to a leaky hose and heat shield. At the same time, they replaced the power steering fluid reservoir and got rid of a groaning noise in the steering system that no one else could diagnose and fix.
These guys aren't just good, they're great. They're not only great mechanics, they're great listeners. They never make you feel like an idiot and they really use the information you give them to help diagnose the problem.
They can be a bit hard to get in to see. I usually have to schedule an appointment a few days in advance. They usually can't see you right away. But for serious engine repairs, these are the folks I trust the most. I'm so glad I discovered them from the reviews on Angie's List.

My daughter used them and told me they were good so I used them. They were quite good and I trust them. I would recommend them.

We had taken the vehicle to another location first, but they were unable to diagnose the problem since it wa n't happening right at that moment. Bergman was able to diagnose based on the symptoms that I was describing. They were fast and courteous. They had it done for me in an afternoon. The dealership that I had originally taken my car to wanted $695.00 for the job. Bergman didn't know about my original quote from the dealership until after they had given me their price of under $300.00.

I made an appointment with Bergman for the following week, I dropped the Isuzu Trooper off on Sunday night and picked it up on Monday as scheduled.  They called once to provide a diagnosis of the problem, provided an estimate at that time.  They performed service, called back with total amount to be billed and charged it to my credit card.  I picked SUV in the evening after work.  Bergman's is fair and honest.  They don't try to sell you on service needs, but will work within your budget and do the work properly the first time.  Great to do business with.
