He arrived on time. Did the work that was needed and cleaned up the area when he was finished. Did a great job.

They were really nice, clean, and used plastic booties. We'll file them away for future reference. It worked out very well, solved the problem, and saved some money.

It took less than 2 hours to do the job. The same company installed the old heater 17 yrs ago. I hope this new unit will last just as long, if not longer. Wishful thinking, of course!

I called the company at approximately 8:30 am to request a service call for my clogged toilet. Since this was not an emergency, the person I spoke with said he would have someone available in a few hours. After four hours had passed, I called again to see where I was on the schedule. I was told that someone had just completed another job and I was next on the list. Someone showed up within 15 minutes. He not only completed the job in a matter of minutes, but also suggested ways to avoid future service calls. I appreciated his honesty!

Through all 4 visits, we received excellent service. Jay Bedell was very quick to access each problem as it came up and to send one of these great young men out. Marty and Larry excel in customer service for Bedell. We enjoyed having both these young men in our home, and appreciate Marty for his patience with all the questions we had with the installations and the tough job of removing the softener and the plumbing involved. These men have to have a wide variety of knowledge on all kinds of plumbing and they met each challenge well. Many thanks!

It sounded like the sound was coming from the bathtub. He told me over the phone just run water in the bathtub and see if that fixes the sound because I had not used the bathtub in a while. It worked! He saved me $105 by helping me out over the phone!

They were able to come out the next day and accommodated a late afternoon appointment even though they knew it would go past 5 pm into overtime hours without charging me extra. Two men worked quickly and efficiently (one took each project) and were gone in less than an hour. Plumbing isn't cheap, but if you've got to pay for it, these guys are worth it. When I called (after talking to many other plumbing companies) they had a simple solution to my dishwasher problem. Why didn't the other guys think of that?

Most of story is as above. Work was done efficiently except for the temporary water hook-up. We feel that the $105 fee to hook up hoses, especially when the support crew didn't have the equipment they needed (still borrowing a neighbor's hose) was 'nickle and diming'. In addition, phone conversations led us to believe that this was a service that could provide, especially considering a $3,000 job. We probably will use other plumbing contractors in the future.

Bedell's plumbing technician, Marty, arrived on time, was pleasant in his manner, & most significantly, performed the silcock replacement job through a very small access port in our finished basement wall- without the need to cut open a larger hole. This effort to not be destructive & cause additional drywall work/repair to be necessary was greatly appreciated. I'm sure that it took Marty longer to complete this task because of using only the existing opening, but he earned my respect by taking this pathway. In respect to the sump pump discharge pipe rerouting, Marty gladly accepted my suggestion to modify the length of the pipe, even though that meant he had to redo a 90-degree turn. He simply said that he wanted to be sure that I was satisfied with the work & it was no problem for him to make the change. As a result, Marty really stands out in my mind as a great example of what everyone would wish a service technician to be when working on a project for their home.

He was there four hours. The house is 50 year old and a leak had to be repaired on a water line behind the heater after it was installed. They had to install and fix the problem and only charged an extra 1/2 hour time. The outdoor facet was also difficult as the water to the house would not totally stop so after three attempts to place a bead on the connection and put a compression fitting at no charge. The fixtures used are top quality Rheem and Woodford. They were several hundred dollars lower than their competitors plus NO trip charges. The representative, Marty Ryan, was very pleasant and hard worker. I cannot be more please with their work, quality and value.

Bedell was fast, efficient and helpful. Each piece of work was professional. Not only did they fix a broken pipe and joint, they added a shut off valve to avoid a future leak and gave good advice for water damage and insulation. New shower head and kitchen fixtures were installed flawlessly!

The guy that came out was great, he was very knowledgeable. The owner was very friendly and superior.

Jay was very prompt at returning my call. Had someone on the job within two days. The guy he sent out actually was hurt on the job and had to leave. Jay sent out another plumber the next day to finish the job, which I appreciated, b/c I didn't want to wait until the following week.

Did the work on customers schedule. Repair conducted. Mess entirely and completely cleaned up before leaving. The best plumbing firm I've ever dealt with for over 25 years.

I asked them to do a few other things for me while they were here. Just perfect gentleman and left the place spotless. It's all because I got this company from Angie's List. You couldn't ask for another company.

Very good work. They arrived about 30 minutes late but called first to let me know of the delay. Very professional and courteous. They respected our house and cleaned up after themselves.

I use them all the time. They are helpful, friendly, and reasonably priced.

Spoke with Jay Bedell and told him we contacted him because of his relationship and award through Angie's List. He gave us the rundown on options we had for a back-up sump pump that would meet our needs and meet the challenge of the environment in which it would operate. Jay was plainspeaking and easy to work with. The same was true of his installer, Larry Parkhurst, who was prompt, courteous and professional. He gave us an on-site evaluation of and was prepared to do whichever option we chose and once we decided, he completed the work in less than two hours. It was a great experience from front office through installation and we are glad we referred to Angie's List and selected Bedell Plumbing.

They arrived a little late but Jay had called and mentioned due to the weather that they would be late (that was great). They arrived, we talked about the bathroom and one representative went upstairs to call Jay. I was able to ask the younger guy questions and he was very pleasant and answered my questions. However, when the other representative returned, he handed me my estimate and said, here you go, we have to go. I get the feeling that they did not want the job. They priced extremely high and left in a hurry.

We had no water and had been hearing our well switch clicking off and on constantly. I called and they came out within 1 hour. They determined the problem was not only the switch but also the pressure tank. They left to get the tank and was back in 15 minute to replace the switch and tank. They removed the old tank and disposed of it. They gave us great service and I will definitely call them for any other plumbing needs in the future.

They originally ordered a very expensive part, but the head technician wasn't satisfied with that fix. He came out and fixed. He explained the whole process and what the problem was. He also informed us about how to get a new faucet from the manufacturer.

I called after 5pm and was scheduled for an 8am call the next day. The plumber showed up promptly and was very courteous and professional. The job was finished correctly and he stuck to the estimate. Overall I was very pleased.

Drain in main bathroom sink has slowly been clogging. Finally last weekend, tried rota-rooter cable to unclog. Couldn't get far enough down. Took off catch - wasn't very clogged. Tried using cable thing to clear clog - no luck. But, in process, cracked through old metal pipe at first turn. Fortunately, in open area (vs. "inside" wall). At this point, I gave up and put back together with pan to catch any drips. Now, also the shut off of water on cold side wouldn't stop slow drip (it rarely gets used). Added that to the list of problems, I tip-toed away so nothing else would go south, and called Bedell Plumbing. Found on Angie's List. Reasonably close. Answered the phone and got back to me with appointment options in 30 minutes. AND, actually kept appointment in the middle of February with severe weather of snow/ice. Young guy (Larry). Understood the problem, went about fixing, and left bathroom pretty clean. Very satisfied.

It was an excellent and rapid job. The young man who did the plumbing was named Larry. He tried to do some repair on a cabinet door for us also, it didn't work out but he offered which I thought was very kind.
