HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, EXPLANATORY, AND COURTEOUS. HE PERFORMED THE WORK ON 12/18 AND CAME BY YESTERDAY TO CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT WAS STILL WORKING. I BELIEVE HE WAS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. HE DID EXCELLENT WORK AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM.

It went horribly! The plumber was late, unprofessional, and caused more problems than we originally had. Considering the events described above and the mess that he left, we were left with no solutions and a bigger problem than we had to start with (as well as $105.00 toward nothing).

I had used Bedell plumbing once before on a completely different type of project. I noticed they were rated well, especially on pricing so, I called mid morning and talked to Jay Bedell. Jay promised he would have someone out same day. He worked around my wife's schedule, so she would be home when they came out. He had one of his guys go home sick at lunch and had some trouble getting someone out. Jay was still able to get Larry to my house by 5pm. Larry had my drain cleaned out by about 7pm. The fact that the sewage line is around a 100 feet from the main line this is pretty good. The last plumber that did the work took an hour longer and charged me more than double the price for the same work. Also, considering the temperatures were near single digits and that he was working after hours, I thought he was completely professional and very good natured. The over all experience was very good. I would recommend Bedell plumbing and will use them going forward.

They were reasonably priced and did a good job. Very knowledgeable.

They were able to fix it the same day that I called. They were professional and cleaned up when they were finished. They did a great job and completed the work in about two hours. We would hire them again in the future if needed.

I won't use them again & wouldn't recommend them unless you're certain you can find your AL book & provide a paper coupon Despite the fact that we had a huge mess & couldn't even go from the 1st floor to the 2nd w/o climbing thru 6+ water clean up men & tons of equipment, Bedell wouldn't give us the $20 off that they have on AL. He said that you MUST have a paper coupon to give them at the time. I offered to show him on our PC how I logged on & found them, but he wouldn't. The water damage co (from AL) couldn't believe Bedell wouldn't give us the discount & even tried to find an AL magazine in their van. A week later I called Bedell to describe what happened & ask for the $20. The owner was clearly offended & told me we didn't have the coupon at the time & they'd "closed out the year" (this was 1/3). He said people had "said" they were with AL & weren't & that their price was "good", so we shouldn't complain, & if I brought the coupon in (Carmel to Greenwood) he'd give me the money.

They were a little expensive but they did an outstanding work. We were very impressed with them. The owner was very helpful, we will continue to use them. They were very courteous.

The plumber that showed up was very nice and he came early, which was great. He looked at the issue for about 45 minutes and decided it was a big issue that would need about a day to fix and wanted to come back another day. All of that was fine. The issue came when they charged us $105 for the service call. Angie's List states for this plumber "NO TRAVEL CHARGES. NO SERVICE CHARGES." I called Jay Bedell and asked why we were charged the $105 service call fee. He stated that estimates are not free but they don't charge to show up to your house (ie a travel charge). This is misleading as we thought they would give us an estimate for free. Jay offered to credit us the $105 if we choose them to fix the issue but they did not give us a hard estimate for the remaining work and we aren't comfortable using them as we feel they are a bit misleading. We called another plumber the next day who came and gave us an estimate for free and we plan to go with him. ($105)

I called them in the afternoon to get a quote on replacing a kitchen faucet. They would have been there that afternoon, but my wife wanted to go to Lowes and pick out her own faucet. The person at Bedell told me what to look for when I was shopping for the new faucet and why I should pick a certain brand over another. They gave me the time they would be at my house to do the job the next morning and they showed up on time. It took their plumber a little over hour to do the job. He was very professional in looks and manor. He cleaned up when he was finished and the charge was exactly what I was quoted. I called 4 other plumbers and also got quotes from them, Bedell Plumbing was the lowest. The next time I need a plumber, Bedell Plumbing is at the top of my very short list. We are very satisfied.

Replaced brass lever drain with a plastic screw-type drain. Had to come out on a second trip, as the technician had the correct part on the truck, just not in a brass color (and since it wasn't leaking if the bathtub wasn't in use, we just didn't use the guest bathroom). Drain was a pain to fix, as he had to saw off a small section of sub-flooring to reach to replace the drain, but cost was lower than expected and quoted. Would very highly recommend!

The tank was older and he was able to make it run beautifully. He was so neat and efficient. I was tremendously pleased. He also installed a hot water heater.

The guys that came were extremely personable and knew exactly what they were doing. The plumbing is probably as old as the house (nearly 100 years old) and when they ran into a few problems, they fixed them quickly and cheaply and in a way that will allow future cleaning to be done cheaply. I couldn't be happier.

Jay promised to send the next available plumber. The plumber arrived, with trainee in tow, within an hour. I explained I had already checked the trap under the sink, and the problem was in the wall or basement floor. I showed him the pipe running down the basement wall into the floor. Two hours later, they had not resolved the problem, and did not appear to be all that professional. I called Jay, and expressed my concern. He was decidedly not happy than his employees had not followed his instructions, and within 45 minutes, the job was done. Jay only charged me what the job should have cost, which was far less than what it cost him. Jay Bedell came through once again. He knows I am very picky about what is done in my nearly century-old home, and makes the previous plumbers look like charlatans. I'll be inviting him back to fix the careless work done by the other plumbers that also had A grades in Angie's List. Jay Bedell stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Serviceman came an hour late but company called prior to my scheduled appointment time to let me know he would be late, so I was fine with this and appreciated the call. Serviceman was courteous, explained what he was doing, conscientious in considering all possible supplies needed before he went to the supply store to get my sink bowl. Overall good experience.

Leon arrived on time and gave me a fair estimate. I told him to do the job and he completed that day. Outstanding!

Work was done quickly and professionally. Clean up could have been a little better.

They were just tremendous. They were professional and responsive. They did a very clean and neat job with the shower repair.

This was my first time using a contractor recommended by the users of Angie's list and it was a fantastic experience. I called on Monday afternoon and was able to schedule an 8 a.m. appointment on Tuesday. The plumber arrived early and took care of the problem, informing me along the way of the plumbing issue that was causing the problem. Although I wasn't expecting to have the plumbing under the sink reworked, he walked me through the process and showed me where the new access points would be. He also gave me advice on whether I could install a dishwasher because of the age of my house and walked me through that process, too. When I'm ready to move forward with the dishwasher installation, I know I will be calling Bedell.

When he came out he was very efficient. He not only inspected my shower stall he also checked for the strength of the shower from the floor to the ceiling. He went into my crawl space with a fluorescent light to check for any leaks as well.

Larry made sure that there were no other problems or leaks, was quick, neat and took care of it beautifully. I have used Bedell before and have always been absolutely delighted with them and will use them again for any future plumbing needs.

It was a minor emergency because we have one bathroom. We made the call in the morning and they were there that afternoon.

They did a very good job. I was pleased. They dug up a four inch basement. They used the crushed up concrete to fill the repaired crack and then tried to fill it with concrete which would have been only an inch. He said it should not need the four inches but I insisted for the four inch concrete pour and he did it the way I wanted. Working on one leak, they caused another leak but repaired that at no charge.

Don't know yet, I still have to fix it.

They came out as promised and gave a quote. They were low quote of 2 plumbers. Came back and did the work as promised. They cleaned up after themselves.
