Other plumbers told us that they would have to remove the built in closet to install a new bath tub and fixtures, but they were able replace the tub without removing the built in closet. They were very professional and accommodating. The price of the service was justifiable for the amount of time spent on the job.

I was very happy with the work, if we would have went with any other company we would be in a world of hurt.

Jay, owner of Bedell, knew exactly what to do and saved us a lot of money. He was professional, courteous, very service minded and conscientious. I know they are busy, but they are busy for a reason, they are in great demand. I will definitely use Bedell Plumbing again and be sending a lot of people their way.

Everyone was on time and very courteous. They went out of the way to make as little of a mess as could possibly be. They got the job done in the time they said they would and we couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Very well. When he came out to snake the drain, he answered all of our questions about other problems we were having. I appreciate that they charge by the job, instead of by the hour. It takes the anxiety out of calling the plumber. We plan to have them out again to do some more work once we've got the money. The second time we called was after a failed attempt at solving a slow draining bathtub. We tried a really stinky chemical, and then a drain snake, but ended up with a tub that wouldn't drain at all. The next morning, we found that the pipes under the tub were leaking, and the downstairs ceiling was dripping. I called before 8 AM and they were out that same morning to make the repair. He replaced an old drum trap and a stretch of pipe through the hole in the soggy ceiling.

Dave came out for an estimate within 24 hours of my call. He was on-time to the appt, was friendly enough, and seemed knowledgeable on the plumbing portion of the work. He came in the morning for the estimate and hand-delivered the estimate to me later that day, which was very convenient. He gave me a quote of $815 to do the plumbing portion of our kitchen remodel which involved relocating the lines for the dishwasher, moving plumbing for our ice maker, and installing our new sink. This was a little higher than the other plumbers but seemed reasonable enough. Dave also stated that they could do our entire kitchen remodel including removal of our old cabinets and tops, installation of the custom cabinets we had already purchased, removal of our pantry, cutting our bar area in 1/2 lengthwise, and repairing drywall. They would subcontract out our electrical work. For the cabinet and drywall work they were going to charge us $2500. I told Dave we were going to have quartz countertops installed. He tried to sell me on Corian countertops which I did not want. He brought in samples of Corian and then tried to sell me on the merits of Corian vs quartz. He told me several negative things about quartz that I knew were untrue based on my extensive research of unbiased sources. He also looked at my shower while here where about 6 tiles were loose d/t water damaged drywall behind them. He told me the base tray of my shower was not properly supported and that my entire shower needed to be ripped out. He wanted to pour cement under the tray, install cement board throughout the shower in place of the green board currently there, and retile the whole thing. While I'm sure this may have been the ideal way for the shower to have been originally installed, this seemed like an extreme solution to my problem. I told him we really only wanted to rpr the damaged area seeing we wouldn't be in the house much more than a couple of years. He told me he would quote me just to rpr the water damaged area as well as to rip out the whole shower but only ever gave me a bid to rip the whole thing out ($2800) I ended up having a company who specialized purely in installation of new tile and repair of tile/showers do the work. They told me I only needed a 3 ft x 3 ft section repaired and only charged me $400 to do this work plus regrout a few small areas and recaulk both my shower and separate tub. Bottom line, I didn't feel that Bedell plumbing was very responsive to my actual needs and was more interested in making as much money off of me as possible. Also felt they weren't as experienced or as qualified to do certain jobs as they led me to believe (IE., installation of cabinets).

They set an appointment for noon the day after I first called. Larry showed up at 11:55 AM to look at the situation. After reviewing, he told me it would cost $900 and would take about 4 hours. It was more than I expected, but I have had little experience with plumbers so felt it was probably reasonable. He checked his schedule with the office and said he could do it now. I said fine, and he started the work. He did have to cut a small hole in the garage ceiling to access to the bottom of the tub area, which he told me ahead of time I would be responsible for patching the hole. He finished all the work in 3 and 1/2 hours. It looked and worked great, and no leaks. We were happy.

They came out quickly to evaluate the problem. I did some research on the internet and had an idea of what the problem was. My condensate line for my heat pump (located in my attic) went into the vent pipe for my sewer line. This was installed 19 years ago and is not proper practice for condensate lines. Bedell gave me two options. Completely replace the condensate line and run it down to the basement sump pump ($800) or replace the trap because it could be full of junk and not functioning properly ($150). I asked him if my vent pipe could be clogged (this is what I found on the internet). He didn't think it was possible. (A clogged vent pipe would cause the water in the condensate trap to be sucked down the vent pipe when a toilet is flushed. Opening the heat pump to the sewer pipe.) I selected the smaller job. He did not have the proper parts on his truck because a condensate line was HVAC parts. He had to leave and go to another job and was not sure he could return but said they might send another guy. He returned about 1.5 hours later. This is why I gave them a B for responsiveness. He said, since it worked for 19 yrs, it would be okay to try replacing the condensate line. When he was done I asked him about checking to see if the vent was clogged. My roof is steep and not easy to walk on. He told me how to cut the vent pipe to check it from inside the attic and seal it back up. After he left I tried this and discovered a dead bird partially clogging the vent. He did give me the tip that allowed me to solve the issue and now I know how the pipe should be run should I want to replace it my self.

My experience with them was very nice. He was knowledgeable. He came out when he said he would. He did the job right away. I would recommend him and use him again.

He was here for 10 minutes at the most and charged me for a 5 minutes of service. They did not give me the Angie's List discount even though I told them when I first spoke with them at the office, and I told the plumber twice when he was here. The coupon should have been for a free service call. The plumber was 10 minutes late. The total time spent working was probably 5 minutes, we chatted for a few minutes after he finished.

Excellent. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Larry did a great job, was courteous and cleaned everything up. He even took time to show us how to use the water softener!

I wasn't happy with the results of the 1st plumber they sent so I called and they sent out their top plumber. I was very satisfied with his work. He was very professional, punctual and cleaned up after himself. They did an excellent job.

Everything went fine. They were here when they said they would be. The pricing was fair. The person that did the job was very professional, and nicely dressed. I am very pleased with the service.

To fix the leak in the wall was $105, which I thought was good. To install the sink, was about $320, which I thought was a little pricey. I called them at 8:00am that morning of the leak and they were out to the house by 10:00am. They did not have everything available to put in the sink when they came to fix the leak, so they came out the next day to install that. I know they did a great job. They are the best, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a dishwasher installed, which turned out to be a bit tricky because our cabinets aren't regularly sized. Bedell was punctual and professional, and when we thought the dishwasher wasn't quite in the correct space they came out the next day, and fixed the problem with no extra charge.

I am a repeat customer and I like them so much that I use them all the time for different jobs. For this particular job I called them and they were out within two hours. They are professional and they clean up after themselves. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

I called them to repair the pipe and they couldn't. They found that the problem was something more than what they could do. They were kind, friendly and very easy to work.

Had to go under the house and chip away concrete to fix the problem. They were persistent and reasonable. They were timely in completing the project.

It was effortless and I did very little. They were excellent. They came on time and got the work done very quickly. They were only here for twenty minutes. They showed me everything they were doing. It was quite nice.

Bedell replaced an old bathtub faucet fixture. Replacement fixture purchased in advance, Bedell just installed. Old fixture was not easy to remove, and Bedell had to cut a bit of wall stud to allow new to fit, etc. Did a good job, knew what they were doing; job took about 90 minutes.

They were not on time. They were about 15 to 20 minutes late, but everything other than that was excellent. They were very knowledgeable. Any questions I asked they were able to answer. They were efficient, got the work done quickly, and cleaned up everything.

When installing the shower stall they cracked it and had to order another one that was supposed to take 2 weeks but instead took 3 weeks. The plumbers were nice and that work was good, but the project was supposed to take 2 days and it ended up taking 3 weeks and 2 days.
