They came out quickly for an estimate, however, he did not get it to me for 2 weeks.They did not get back to me in a timely fashion.

Our service tech was Eric S. He was professional, courteous and appeared to have a thorough knowledge of our issues. We will request Eric again. We were very pleased with Bedell and will definately use there services again when needed.

Anyone that calls should ask for Jason Freeman. He's who came out to do the work for us. It was wonderful and effortless (what we hoped for!). He spent 2 hours in our crawlspace and just got it done!

I called Bedell Plumbing late Monday, 04/02/12. I asked Jay Bedell if he could have someone come out Tuesday to work on shower / tub fixtures to improve pressure and I asked for an estimate. Jay said he could have someone out Tuesday morning. Jay thought that I would be better off doing time & materials for the job than bid work. Jason arrived at 0815 Tuesday morning & proceeded to address presure problem. He installed an access panel in the wall behind the shower fixtures. He replaced the pipe from the shower fixtures down to the T-fitting where the sink line separates from the shower line. He pointed out that the T-fitting was corroded and had leaked. He recommended replacing the T-fitting & the cooragated iron pipe back through the basement living area to the next fitting (about 30 feet). Once that was done he tested it & we still had poor pressure. He removed the rough in valve & found it had sediment that was restricting water flow. He had a replacement valve that would fit & installed it. Once that was installed the pressure was great. He then removed old parts & cleaned-up the area. Jason was professional, friendly and communicated effectively. Jay is an effective communicator and scheduler. It took 5 hours @$105 an hour plus $225 in parts.

He did pretty well. The price seemed a little high, but he was here for a while. He put me to work at times getting things that he needed. He was a good guy and he knew what he was doing, but it seemed as if he couldn't complete the job without my help.

Very happy with service. Will use Bedell plumbing again as necessary.

The overall experience was excellent. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. They were a little high in price but for what they did it was worth it. I would use this service again.

We were very satisfied with Bedell Plumbing. We expected to replace both a sewage pump and waste valve at a minimum and ended up with just a diagnostic charge. There was every opportunity for the plumber to replace either item and did not do so. Bedell Plumbing came out the same day we called, didn't do unneeded work and didn't try to up sell anything. We will definitely use them again if we ever need work done on our plumbing in the future.

After water back-up resulted in an enormous amount of water damage in our home, we had contacted a plumbing company which we had used on several occasions. They initially quoted us one price, then continued to increase the costs because they kept finding additional problems. After it became clear that the other company couldn't /wouldn't give us an exact cost, we decided to get a second opinion. We call Beddell and explained what had happened. Over the phone, he was able to accurately diagnose the problem and tell us what needed to be done. He came out the same afternoon and was able to tell us exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem as well as the cost of the project. By the next day and a half, they were able to replace the main water line from our house. The arrived by 9 in morning and had the job completed by noon. They were very responsive and professional. We would use them again.

They came out late Friday afternoon to give me as estimate for the work, and provided a high and low estimate depending on what he found when he got into the job. Not knowing how long it would take, we decided they would come back Monday to complete it. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. Even though the old threads were destroyed (the higher end quote), it went quickly (due to his skill) and I was charged the lower end price. I've used Bedell for several years with all my plumbing needs and they are always courteous, responsive and competent; and I feel they are fair, cost-wise. I've referred them to friends and family and appreciate knowing where to confidently turn should a need arise.

Jay's team came out to repair a pipe in my slab. They were prompt, very professional, and cleaned up after they were done. I will continue to use them for any plumbing need I have. Thanks again.

Excellent, ran into some trouble with the lines, needed an extra part, my husband ran to hardware while plumber was doing other stuff, got the part and he finished the job without having to come back and make an extra trip. Very good service.

I was frustrated by slow response from roto-rooter so Ii called Bedell plumbing (identified on Angie's list) to receive an cost estimate and projection on when they could arrive to perform services. Jay Bedelll provided rate structure for weekends ($210 for first hour (opposed to $175 regular business hours)) and said he had someone on call available to respond immediately to our request. He said Jason would arrive within 90 minutes. I confirmed service and cancelled my request with roto-rooter. Jason arrived within 40 minutes. He proceeded to verify problem and identify access to main line outside the house. He hauled equipment and proceeded to work on clearing main drain. It was cleared within 15 minutes. We then flushed water for a few minutes to verify that the drain was cleared (opposed to just moving the blockage further down). Then jason removed all equipment, wrote-up bill for first hour of service and explained what he found causing blockage. All I had to do was provide power for Jason's equipment and execute clean-up - which included removal of a brown stain in driveway where equipment was loaded. Jason was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Bedell Plumbing quickly responded to our request for a home service call. They were flexible to match our scheduling needs. They showed up on time and got the job done. Very dependable.

When the first plumber from Bedell came out he correctly determined that the water heater needed replacing but did not check the water reducing valve. He also had me concerned about the wood platform that the water heater was sitting on since it was wet. Bedell sent out another plumber, Patrick, who assured me that the platform was fine and would support the heater. Patrick completed the installation of the water heater, the heat expansion tank, and the pressure reducing valve that evening. He did an excellent job from what I could tell. The price seemed a little high, but since the tank was a 75 gal tank and including the labor, this was probably a fair price.

tech was very nice, disgnosed the problem, in and out, problem solved ... we actually also had an unforseeable situation which required a callback, and they made it right with quality and price.... no questions asked. Everyone happy!

Bedell advertises that their phones are answered 24 hours a day. I called in the evening, probably around 8 pm to set up an appointment for the follwowing day. No one answered when I called and I did not leave a message as I planned to call in the morning. However about 5-10 minutes later I received a call back anyway. I was pretty impressed they took the time to do that. He was able to schedule someone to be in first thing the following morning and advised the approximate cost to have the drain snaked. We had called since the drain to our washer had been overflowing when the washer was draining. We had asked to have the drain cleared, but after a quick inspection the rep advised he did not think it was clogged, but that the drain was the wrong size. As the drain is in the basement he was quick to help us out with a cheaper option than tearing out the concrete floor. He was able to widen the top of the drain which has solved the problem for the moment. This fix was only a bit more than the snaking which had been quoted over the phone and has fixed the problem.

The utility location man arrived around 8:30 and marked all of the pertinent utilities. The men arrived shortly after this. A backhoe was used to dig approx 6 ft to locate the sewer pipe. Once this was found a backflow preventer was connected and the hole was backfilled. The earth was wet clay, so the backfill job was not clean. it was left mounded up in big clumps. Not much else they could do with the wetness of the clay. The backhoe left minor ruts in the ground. no attempt was made to fix these. While the backflow preventer work was going on other men were breaking the concrete floor in the lower level. Then they dug a hole. There was no gravel between the concrete and the dirt. They removed the clay and concrete and hauled this to their truck. Then they installed the sump and its pump. Once complete they leveled it up, installed the top and final piping and then poured concrete to fill the hole they dug. The last thing they did was to cap an old water pipe from an old well. This had been leaking into the basement. Hopefully all of this will render us a dry basement.

See above. The whole thing started with a high water bill, but I saw no water. Next, I joined Angie's list after water company came out and said I had a leak somewhere and needed a plumber. Called Bedell and they sent out a plumber who stated I had a leak under the concrete and needed American Leak Detect next to pinpoint where it was under the concrete slab. They came out same day and found it under the front bedroom floor on the north wall area. Bedell Plumbing worked me in their schedule the next afternoon and came out in the cold rain. Horrible job lasted up into late eve., approximately 8:30. Then, had to come back to get the water on. Gravel in pipe. Came back on Monday and put gravel back in hole in bedroom and poured concrete to fix hole in floor. Also, came back following day to wash mud off street and sidewalks. They were consistent and right on it, thus I would hire them again if ever need. Nice people to deal with.

Very good. Punctual, efficient. Did an excellent job. Estimate for other jobs were however higher than from others. I still would use them again as the quality of the work was high.

I was concerned about keeping some decorative elements that I still wanted included in the new bathroom. Jay worked with me to maintain them and also guided me to sources that helped me make decisions about new tile, cabinetry, and granite. It's dramatic looking and I love the results. A very cooperative effort which went quite smoothly thanks to the personnel and the expertise at Bedell Plumbing.
