He arrived early and normally this would be good but I had another appt and was trying to make it home in time to speak with him myself . My husband arrived 5 minutes early and the repairman had already started. We had company visiting that allowed him to have access to our home before we got there. And he was already gone before I got there so I didn't get to speak with him. Now my husband did not tell him I wanted to speak with him directly ( i was on phone asking my husband questions) so he did nothing wrong. This was just a quicker service call than I expected. Also I am not familiar with plumbing companies so I don't know if they charge a service and diagnosis charge, but the no service charge but we do charge a diagnosis charge i think is just a way to still charge the customer. Don't advertise a no service but then charge by calling it a different name. However, I was informed of this at the time of booking and still booked. Also I thought it was very fair to credit that charge towards any repair work completed by them. Would rehire and recommend to others.

It went great, Bedell was timely and courteous even though it was after hours. The price was reasonable and the spent time to look over the entire system to make sure we would not have more problems..

I've used Bedell Plumbing several times before. This is the second silcock they've installed. Even though they have to go in the crawlspace, they never complain. They are always on time for the appointment and are very professional and knowledgable.

Again, Jason went above and beyond and was very nice and helpful.

I hired them becuase they don't have a service charge. They give an estimate over the phone of exactly what the service will cost.

I appreciated the technician ruling out the leak versus doing more repairs that wouldnt have ended up being necessary.The job was done very timely once he got here. I was impressed that they got to me within the same day of my call also. The price for the leak repair was probably average, however, I thought the cost of the water heater replacement could have been a bit cheaper. All in all, I was satisfied with the job.

Bedell plumber, Eric, came out right at the time they said that they would be out. He looked at the current faucets and was able to tighten the back faucet so it was not leaking. It was nice to see a company try different ways to save the homeowner money if something can be easily fixed without just coming out and just replacing an item. The front faucet, although he tried to tighten it, just kept on leaking so it had to be replaced. He was very quick about getting right to work and removed the old faucet and put the new one in. He put down a tarp to keep any mess from getting on our carpet. He even caulked around the faucet plate to keep it water tight. The whole job took about 1.5 hrs. I would hire them again especially if my back faucet starts to leak again. They price was right in line with another company that I had called.

They came within an hour, just as they said that they would. They got here at 4:30pm and by 8pm we had a new water heater. It's working fine! Brian was our technician this time, and he was excellent. I've used them before and they have always done a great job.

Jay was able to send a plumber over the same day, which I greatly appreciated. I can't remember the name of the plumber, but he was very friendly. He answered all of my questions and explained the problem with my sewage pump. He was able to give me an estimate for the repair and also cap a leaky shower faucet for me. He also explained the difference between a 'service charge' (which apparently is similar to a trip charge essentially and is typically charged just to have a plumber drive to your home) and the $105 'diagnostic charge' I was charged for his analysis of the problem. I was very happy for the explanation, and think it could be helpful for others to know beforehand as well.

Bedell Plumbing did a good job. The owner's son came out to do the work and seemed quite knowledgeable. I am satisfied with the work.

After being told by one plumber from another agency (ARS) that they could not fix the many plumbing issues, I was desperate. Even with the water shut off, a heavy leak continued all day. This plumber walked away after telling me we would need to spend $5,000 and get a contractor to come out to remove a wall. I called Bedell, and they promised to fix the source of the leak that day. Eric came as soon as he could, and he confirmed that we needed a lot of work. He, however, replaced the water heater and re-plumbed the area for the estimated price of $750 after four hours of hard work. I will forever be grateful to him and the company! They have won my loyalty. I wish I had called them first; however, I don't know if I would have realized what a godsend they were if I had.

The phone call and quote was very professional and informative.

I called Bedell on Memorial Day, and scheduled them to come out the next day. They arrived early, were very courteous, and professional. The plumber investigated all the pipes and plumbing, but the moaning in the pipes persisted. He checked pipes outside, and still couldn't find a solution. He removed the toilets, and reseated them. That didn't fix it. He called in another plumber for consultation, and they continued the search in the crawlspace. Finally locating the source of the sound, he discovered that our kids had turned on an outside hose (with a spray head, so it wasn't just spraying the entire time, it was adding pressure to the plumbing lines,) and had never turned it off. Even though they spent at least an hour here, and had to get down in the crawlspace, and the yard in the rain, they didn't charge us for the visit. I will definitely be calling them again when I need our downstairs bathroom installed!

I couldn't have imagined it going better. They responded quickly with quality professional work at a good price. I would highly recommend them.

Not sure how to go about this. Do we buy the faucet and they install it, or do they have faucets and sell and install the faucet. Works either way. Started this experience by talking to Jay. He pointed us to a web site and made a specific recommendation based on his experience. My wife and I viewed the web site and called Jay back a few times. We finally settled on the faucet Jay recommended. "Jay has the patience of a saint". Called Jay back and said do it. Within two hours the plumber had picked up the faucet and had it installed in our kitchen. Can't get any service better than that.

Bedell arrived on time and finished the faucet installation in time estimated. They explained the faucet set up and I chose where and how I wanted to arrange on-off and dispensers right or left handed. No additional charges or problems were encountered. Their estimate and charges were those quoted.

We got their name from Angie's List and we have used them once before. It wasn’t cheap, but we were happy.

They were responsive, reasonably priced, and easy to work with.

Eric S came out to investigate what the issue was and determined that we needed a new hot water heater. He was excellent and we have been very pleased with this company, as we have used them before. The clean up was great. I have no complaints.

Jacob M. and Robert U. from Bedell Plumbing were VERY experienced, careful, thoughtful and thorough. Two years ago we bought our 40 year old home and it was obvious the previous owner had cut some serious corners. One of the corners cut was the proper and complete clearing of a plumbing problem under the kitchen sink. Obvious evidence of a long term and frequent problem was seriously warped and rotting wood under the kitchen sink. Jacob and Robert from Bedell Plumbing discussed possible sources of the problem with us and we agreed to take a stepwise approach. I was positive that the trap under the sink was simply clogged and that it would have been easy for me to disconnect the trap, clear and re-attach it. Jacob and Robert provided the opinion that the garbage disposal was a contributing influence. They felt that over time, grime had accumulated along the inside of the drain pipe and the garbage disposal was no longer shredding debris finely enough to easily pass through the gradually diminishing aperture. Jacob and Robert disconnected the trap .... it was clear. So, as hard as it is for me to admit, my analysis was incorrect. With the trap off, they ran water directly down the drain pipe which quickly backed up indicating blockage not too far down the pipe. They immediately brought in a small motorized snake which did run into, but did not clear the obstruction. So, they brought in the motorized mini-snake. After much effort, the blockage was fragmented and eliminated. This was immediately confirmed by running water down the pipe; which did not back-up . This proved that Jacob and Robert were correct up to this point. Whether a new garbage disposal was needed, will fuel academic discussions in plumbing courses until the end of time. However, my wife made the executive decision that since Jacob and Robert were on site and we were thoroughly pleased with their performance, that it would possibly be pennywise and pound foolish to not have the old disposal replaced. So we are now the proud owners of a new fully functional garbage disposal that dutifully minces and shreds garbage to the proper size. Humor aside, my wife and I could not be happier that we called on Bedell Plumbing and would definitely call them for any future plumbing work. Jacob and Robert spent approximately 1 1/2 hours doing a thorough and professional job. The cost of the service was fair and the guys were great.

The plumber was on time, actually after calling first, he was early. He worked quickly and did an excellent job.

My water heater sprung a bad leak late on a Friday afternoon. I called Bedell because I was looking for someone who was still open because I did not want to pay overtime. They answered the phone and were able to give me a price over the phone after I answered just a few questions. They had the water heater and needed and arrived to install it around 5:30 p.m. They cleaned up the heater that had leaked onto the floor and hauled away the old heater.

On Easter (A holiday and a Sunday), I clogged the kitchen sink while cooking and had lots of people coming to my house. I needed service immediately so that I could finish Easter lunch and then clean up after lunch was complete. I called and they could send someone out. A technician was there within the hour, fixed the problem and had my sink up and working quickly. I thought the cost was very good for being a holiday and a weekend. I will for sure use them again in the future.
