Bedell Plumbing did an excellent job on the work that needed to be done. I was only expecting a few minor repairs, which ended up being a larger water pressure problem. My water pressure was double what it should be normally, so Travis recommended installing a water pressure system/water expanding tank to take care of that problem. He also installed a new water spigot for the outside water access, put in an access panel to the pipes in my walls, and fixed two toilets with worn-out parts. Since I was only expecting a small bill, Travis was able to let me pay half at the time of service and billed me for the second half. Travis was great - showed up on time, was very professional, and completed the work in about 4 hours. I would call Bedell again for any future plumbing issues.

Plumber was actually a little bit early. Completed the job efficiently and cleaned up after himself. Was easy to talk to and informative about plumbing issues. Was very happy with the service he provided and everything was repaired well and is operating properly now.Job was actually $320 but there was an Angie's List coupon I was able to use. Hope I will be able to get this plumber in the furture.

The service was excellent as well as the prompteness of getting to my burst pipe. I came home from work and found water coming out of a pipe in my garage; I had to turn off ALL the water in my entire house to get the problem stopped; but then I had NO water. I called Bedwell and spoke with Jay. He was extremely professional and understanding. I had a service person at my house within the hour of my call. Pat was WONDERFUL. He fixed the broken pipe and explained why the tubing had burst. He explained what my options where before fixing anything and quoted me prices. He also tested my water pressure which is alittle high and explained what should be done to fix that. He did not pressure me into fixing anything else today. I was truly grateful for his promptness and professionalism and explaining things to me so I understood what was going on.......In my emergant need; Bedwelll was TRULY Awesome......I would highly recommend using them

We live in one of the last places in Indy to get hooked up to the city sewer, which is good because our septic was beginning to give us trouble. In the early spring they snaked our main lines to remove roots, and then installed our sewer hookup after we received permission from the City to do so. In my former job I used Bedell renovate the plumbing in two commercial buildings, and have used them at my personal residence several times as well. I've not a seen a company more committed to providing good service, which can be especially rare for plumbers. They've always been on time and courteous. A commitment to good service is very important to me, and that's why I continue to use Bedell.

They came out within 2 hours of our initial call to them. Serviceman was polite and professional. He gave us a cost estimate before starting the work, and he fixed it promptly. Good experience with this company.

We called for service on a sump pump due to an alarm on the backup system on a Saturday morning. Bedell Plumbing answered promptly and called back within ten minutes to say a plumber was available in one hour. The plumber showed up promptly and had the work completed in 90 minutes. The work area was clean. The plumber also wore shoe covers to keep our floors clean when he walked through the house! The price was the standard with no extra Saturday surcharge and the installed pump is a good name brand with a two year warranty. We asked a friend who is a renovation contractor north of Chicago and he stated that the pump we got was a very good brand and the price that we paid was extremely fair.

Mike at Bedell was a life saver. We had called a different provider to unclog a pipe causing our upstairs bathroom toilets to back up. They came and tried to run a small snake, and then a larger snake. The larger snake got caught on something. They had 4 different plumbers come, one with a camera on a long tube that went down the toilet drain, over 4 days' time. They couldn't find the snake or what it was caught up on. They cut a hole in our ceiling downstairs trying to figure out what the snake was caught on. They told us they believed it was in a pipe that led out beyond the wall to the part of the house that overhung our front porch. They were also going to cut out the outside ceiling, believing the snake was caught inside a pipe out there. For all of this they were going to charge us $2,300 AND we were going to have to pay to repair/replace the inside and outside ceilings ourselves. We decided, after having some of our home destroyed, that we wanted a second opinion. This is where Mike at Bedell came in. He walked in, I explained the situation, and he found the snake in 5 minutes. It had gone the opposite direction and was caught up on the actual toilet at the other end of the house than where the original folks where tearing up our house and looking for the cause of the problem. They never would have found it even after cutting out the pipes! Mike then pulled the snake (which had been cut off from the motor) out of the line which took about 30 seconds. After fixing the problem the other provider caused, he then set about fixing our original problem. He ran a large snake through all the pipes upstairs and immediately unclogged the stopped up spot. He then reset the two toilets the original provider had removed, plus the third toilet that had hung up the original snake. Mike was experienced, efficient, professional and had reasonable prices. He saved us potentially having to pay $2,300 plus another $1,000 to repair/replace ceilings, outdoor woodwork, and light fixtures. If we ever need plumbing help in the future we will definitely call Bedell first and ask for Mike!

I was interested in doing research on the installation of water softners and, of course went to Angie's List.Com to begin my search; I read a number of positive reviews on Bedell Plumbing and called them-within one day they came to my home and explained their services and all the information I needed to know about their company. I decided to have them install a ProSeries Softner for me and within 24 hours they came and completed the work! They were professional and did a quality job! I would highly recommend using their services if you are ever in the market for a softner!

They were supposed to clean the drain but were unable to do it. They charged us but never did the work.

It was not an emergency, but I called in the morning and they had someone at our house in the afternoon. He was able to give us an estimate on the spot and gave me the option to do the work or not. I chose to do it and there were no surprises. I would absolutely use them again.

The Bedell rep. arrived on time and was very professional. Installation was quick and thorough and the price was just as we had agreed on the phone. The new sump is working fine with no issues. I would definitely use their services again.

Called and they came out the next day for a free estimate. Travis the plumber was under the house from about 15 minutes trying to find the leak. After he found it he took a picture of it on his phone to show me what had to be replaced. He gave a itemized list of every part that was needed. When we decided to have them do the work of cutting out part of the cast iron pipe that was part of the main drain I called the company back. The one that answered the phone was very polite and answered all my questions. We set a time for the next day to have the work done. The appointment was set for 8:00 AM and Travis was here a couple of minutes before 8. He said it would take him about 2 hours to do the work but he and his helper finished in about 1 1/2 hour cleaned up and was gone. They explained everything that was done and did a thorough check to make sure there were no leaks.

They came out and replaced a part in the shower area and fixed that for no charge. Then the two faucets, the turn off valves were corroded and that was affecting the water pressure. Bedell replaced 4 of those. I also had them install 2 new faucets that I had purchased as well. The tech looked at our water heater and let us know there was a special test that he could run on the water heater, and found that nothing was wrong with the water heater, so that was much appreciated since he was honest. The tech did show up 10-15 minutes late, but Bedell did call and let me know that he was running late from his last service call. The technician cleaned up everything very well and I was very pleased with the service over all. The technician was very courteous and really listened to everything that I had to say.

I was happy with them and they did an excellent job and I would use them again.

.All of the work was absolutely fine. I won't say it went according to plan, as plumbing is a mysterious beast. Bedell's is on my list of A++ contractors. Eric is the best and made sure that everything was working in tiptop shape and in order. They are always very neat and always clean up anything they work on. Eric explained everything to me so I would understand just how my plumbing systems works (and doesn't work!) I have had bad experiences in the past with this old house, but Bedell's is the best and Eric rocks. They will be my plumbing guys forever

Pat was a fantastic plumber. He came to the house right at 4:30, and stayed until our bathooms were up and running. He was pleasant, funny, and did a very good job of fine tuning both bathrooms. We also appreciated the willingness of Mr. Bedell to schedule our service call after normal working hours to accommodate other contractors working at our home. There was no service call charge, only the fees for work actually done. We liked that! We will definitely use Bedell Plumbing for our future service needs.

Nothing ever goes as planned when working on a house, but this experience was not so bad. Mike's explanations of options were helpful as well as his comments on types of makes and models of faucets. We actually ended up with better faucets! The previous stains are not visible, everything works well, so we are happy!

New to town and living in 90+ year old house. Woke up to sewer backup in basement. Called Beddel based upon Angie's List reviews. Patrick showed up quickly and fixed my problem. Very professional and friendly. Found the leaking sump line and fixed it same trip. I will use them whenever I need a service they provide. Great experience.

On Weds night our water heater started leaking profusely from the top and bottom. Thanks to google and YouTube I was able to figure out how to turn it off and drain it out. The next morning I called Bedell plumbing and described our problem. I spoke with Jay Bedell and he informed me that it was more than likely that I would need a new hot water heater. He asked about my current unit and what features it had and then said he would be able to have a truck that could pick up our replacement 75 gallon unit and that he would call me in an hour. I was called within the hour and told that the service truck could be there in 15 mins which was great. They arrived right on time. Our serviceman, Eric, was exceptionally polite, very knowledgeable and informative. He and his assistant took great care to protect floors and walls as they removed our heavy tank up our basement stairs and took the same care when bringing in and installing the new tank. They informed me in advance that they would check our water pressure coming into our house and if necessary install a pressure regulating valve. After checking they said our pressure level was ok and that we would not need the valve. Within a few hours they had the new tank installed and ready to go along with a new overflow/expansion tank. Their work looked very professional and the work area looked like no one had been there when they were done. Eric explained to me the basic operating features and maintenance for our new unit. We were asked if we had any other issues in the house that they might help with. My wife mentioned that the toilet in our daughters' room had been clogging a lot recently. Eric offered and did run a drain auger to check it out and clear it out, which he did at no charge. He also obtained and provided quotes for us to replace our toilets which we may do at a later date. Overall I was very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Bedell. I felt that they were honest and fair in all aspects. I will use them again and I highly recommend their services.
