Jay Bedell is a great guy. He was determined to get us hot water again with a temporary fix, discussed the long-term solutions, was willing to listen to my alternatives, and help me keep this 85-year-old house functioning at a reasonable price. I look forward to working with him in the future.

Jay arrived on time, was very friendly and informative, and discussed with me the price of the current job. He also pointed out what the next steps would be to the remodeling process and what the costs would be. He also pointed out a mistake I was about to make in picking out a sink which would not have worked for the area. This mistake would have cost me lots of extra money in the long run. Jay was everything you would expect from a professional - he gets all of my plumbing jobs in the future!

Larry was an excellent worker. Very polite and professional. He did a lot of hard work in about 6 hours without a break. I just wish they gave a discount to Angie's List customers.

Plumber was right on time. He was very polite, cleaned up after himself, and was finished early. The plumber supplied one sink and one faucet. He was happy to let me supply the other two. That made him easy to work with. He tested everything to make sure there were no leaks.

They showed up on time both days and were quick to help us both for the emergency service and to fix the problem on the second day. Everyone we talked to was helpful and polite. While they wrongly diagnosed the problem the first day, they were quick to fix it the next day. They even charged us a reasonable price for their services. We were happy to have the problem fixed quickly so we could use the water in our house.

Our technician, Larry was on time, polite & knowledgeable as to the work to be done. He did a good job and was very neat with his work. Mr. Bedell was good to work with over the phone and helped us find a shower door for our small shower and had it installed. The price was comparable to two other estimates from other companies. I would use this company for future plumbing needs.

I have hired Bedell Plumbing to do a wide variety of work and have never been disappointed. When my water softener stopped working I didn't even shop around. I just called Jay Bedell and scheduled an appointment. Just like before, they were on time and completed the work in a very timely manner. They didn't leave a mess and most importantly, we love our new softener. I can't say enough about Jay Bedell and his company. I will always look to them first when I need work done.

The contractor performing a major master bathroom remodel project used Bedell Plumbing to perform the work described. He is very particular and only uses Alan on his jobs. After seeing the work I can understand why. I have used plumbers before, and have also done my own plumbing. Alan is a perfectionist and the plumbing work was excellent. The nicest sweating job I have ever seen done for valves soldered to copper pipe. For the new Kohler soaking tub, Alan removed the old drain line and installed new 1-1/2'' PVC drain line to the drain, not the 1-1/4'' cheap slip joint drain line often used. He used PVC cement to secure all the fittings which will ensure no leaks under the tub. If you have ever had leaks in a slip joint P-Trap under your sink you will understand why this is important. Once the front panel of the enclosure for the soaking tub is installed, you don't want to have to open it again to fix a leak. I will be calling Bedell - and asking for Alan - for any future plumbing need

Alan was on time, very polite and reasonably priced. He did an excellent job cleaning the drain and did not try to gorge the company to get more out of the job than what it actually required. Bedell plumbing has plumbers who exhibit a lot of integrity in their service and pricing.

Called Bedell Plumbing approx. at 12:15pm. Plumber arrived at approx. 12:55pm. The entire process took about 40 minutes. The plumber was polite and efficient. Drain works perfectly now. I have used Bedell Plumbling before and always with excellent results. Thanks...

I can't tell what they actually did. They said they replaced the trap and that it would take care of the problem. I called him back and he is telling that now maybe my sewer line has collapsed. After the $485, and my problem is not fixed. I feel that I didn't receive anything! Why didn't he tell me that from the beginning instead of doing something that probably didn't need to be done and charge me near $500. They also never showed for the second estimate on the sewer line replacement.

Extremely impressed. Bedell has another loyal customer from this experience. Larry was polite, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend his services to anyone. Not only a fantastic service experience but he arrived in less than two hours from when they heard we were without water.

THEY CAME OUT TWICE IN ONE WEEK. THE FIRST PROBLEM WAS A LEAK BEHIND THE REFRIGERATOR AND THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF MY CALL TO FIX IT ON A MONDAY MORNING. THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY, I CALLED THEM BECAUSE I NEEDED A DRAIN PIPE CLEANED OUT FOR A WATER SOFTENER INSTALLATION. THEY WERE HERE WITHIN 45 MINUTES! TO ME, THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNHEARD OF, THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I AM NEVER SHOCKED BY THE PRICE LIKE YOU ARE WITH A LOT OF OTHER PLUMBERS.

He was extremely friendly and on time. They worked hard to get to the house quickly. We were very pleased, even siliconed the toilet back onto the floor. Very pleased with the work.

Larry was on time and professional. He exceeded expectations by noticing and resolving a problem with the toilet tank refill as well. Other plumbers had not been able to fix the refill so I very much appreciated Larry's knowledge about plumbing in an older home. We definitely will call Bedell for the next problem!

Worked with Jay. Estimate was given in prompt & professional manner. Explained exactly how they would fix broken sewer line under sidewalk. Was able to repair line without tearing up sidewalk. Would definitely use again.

ASKED FOR AN INVOICE AND WE STILL DO NOT HAVE IT.

It started off on a positive note, but unfortunately, things changed. I was made to feel like I was a very low priority. Things were not completed when promised. Pre-arranged work times and days had to be changed around their schedule. Then, when I received the bill, I was surprised by how high it was. I called to ask why it was so high (we asked for a written estimate, but never got one-our fault), he said labor is $105 per hour, per plumber! WOW! I was shocked! (If this is the going rate for plumbers, forgive me.) This was our first experience in doing something like this and I learned a lot!

He was able to come the same morning that I called, which was very important b/c we had a major leak under our kitchen sink. He was polite and got the job done in a professional manner. Normally I would have checked around for the best price, but we didnt have that option b/c of the leak. Because Angies List had a grade of A on price, I didnt worry about the price and just told him to do the job. When I did some checking after the job was done, he was in line with others.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of this company. Water was leaking from the tube attached to the temperature and pressure release valve. They checked the water pressure and it was in the normal range. Therefore they felt the T&P valve was faulty and they replaced it. However, this did not solve the problem so they came out a second time and checked the pressure and inspected the thermostat. Everything seemed ok so they felt that perhaps the T&P release valve they initially installed was faulty. Therefore, they installed another T&P release valve which also did not solve the problem. Jay was determined to resolve the issue to my satisfaction and felt that even though the water pressure appeared to be in the normal range that an expansion tank might resolve the issue. He sent a plumber out for the third time and had an expansion tank installed at no additional charge. I am happy to report that this did resolve the problem.

Bedell responded very quickly, were very polite, ended up having to stay to complete work after 5:00 p.m. on Friday evening, and amount was a bit less than quoted.

THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB. I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE WHOLE ORGANIZATION. THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND THE PRICING WAS EXCELLENT!!! HE ACTUALLY HELPED ME SAVE SOME MONEY BY SAVING MY ORIGINAL TUB. HOWEVER, WHEN THEY ACCIDENTALLY CRACKED THE TUB, THEY GAVE ME A NEW ONE.
