Pending installation

The installers did an excellent job of installing the countertops and the people that installed them were fine. They came took measurements and did the work, and it looks great. They seemed to be very professional and did a good job. We did have problems on the installation of the dishwasher and the installer had to come out 4 times. He was polite and on time each time and he had to attach the dishwasher to our granite cabinet top. There was a mounting kit available for the dishwasher, but he said that he did not know that there was. We had a problem with the new dishwasher because one of the arms did not rotate like it should, so a person from another company was sent out by them. He fixed that problem, so that person from Lowes was good. The guy came back out because the dishwasher came loose on one side within a month of him gluing and had split the wood. We contacted the company and asked them what they would recommend and they told us that there was a mounting kit for that. They also said that they would never recommend gluing it to the granite countertops. Lowes ordered the mounting kit at no charge for us, but kept sending the same installer out. We have it attached only on one side and never had it fixed because they keep sending the same guy. The ladies at the store followed up very well and were really trying to do their job. It was just this one installer and I don’t know if he knew what he was doing. It was for several months that we were trying to get it working right. The pricing was expensive.

Purchasing the carpet at Lowes was probably the most challenging part. The service folks were not always available. Once we were able to decide on the carpet, it was smooth sailing. The delivery/installation went incredibly smooth. The installers were in and out in about 4-5 hours. The quality of the work and the product both exceeded our expectations.

The service was fine. I went in knowing what I wanted. They would have been able to deliver the next day (which was a Sunday), but we decided to wait until Monday. It was an Energy Star and we got 10% off.

We went to Lowes to buy a washer. The sales associate told us it didn't matter how much money we spent..."they are all junk". The sales associate pushed for the extended warranty and was noticeably aggravated when we declined. I almost canceled but we needed the washer and we were short on time. The delivery guys, however, did a great job. They were efficient and professional.

I decided to go with another company because of price.

It went very well. They did all the contracting and all the work as far as deciding supplies they needed and parts they needed. The guy was here on time. He did a really thorough job. Everything looks great.

I was looking for an electric stove that was flat on top because I hate to clean the burners. Lowe's had several to pick from, and I ended up purchasing a discontinued floor model that was in perfect condition at a wonderful price. They held it for me until I was ready to have it delivered a couple of weeks later. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly from the salesperson who sold it to me to the delivery people. And their extended warranty, which covers everything for four years, was very reasonable. I will definitely shop there again for all future appliance purchases.

Brenda spent a lot of time with me as we designed an entire new kitchen for my house. She listened to my personal needs, then created a beautiful kitchen using the cabinet style and countertop color that I picked out. The entire design, purchase and home delivery went very smooth and I could not be happier!

Project has gone well although the subcontracted installer was extremely late for the installation. Quality was good. Lowe's personnel were very helpful in finding other product that was not in their area of expertise. Management also followed-up on the installation and listened to my concerns about the subs.

Delivery and installation went great. The regular counter tops were ordered and delivered in 5 business days. The bar top took another week, but Julie warned me that it might take longer because of all the cuts required. I found another source for counter tops that might have been a little cheaper, but the service and the suggestions Julie made for me turned out to be a good choice and well worth the small difference in price.
