He did well. His follow up and punctuality lacked but because he has a lot going on. He is good and we would probably use him.

He was fine. They seemed professional. He showed up when he said he was going to. He called in advance to tell me that he was coming. He did it fairly quick. The price wasn't cheaper and it could always have been better but it was reasonable.

Dave did an incredible job. My computer was running slowly and loudly and I couldn't figure out why. My fans were running full speed almost non-stop. My computer seriously sounded like it was ready for take-off. He found out that my cpu was actually getting any heat pulled off of it by my liquid cooling system. So it was burning up and causing my fans to go crazy. This was also slowing down my computer since the cpu was running so hot. Dave was extremely friendly and helpful and I will definitely use him again if I have any trouble with my computer going forward. Seems like one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I highly recommend him and will recomend him if anyone else has any trouble. Thanks Dave!

I started with a "big deal" and he did work at two houses. Then I called him to come again to make another adjustment. I even contacted him a third time and he told me over the phone what to do. I'll call him again if I have any computer needs. (Should say when I do, I guess!)

Dave sold me a slightly used monitor that he had with him, so I did not have to wait to use the computer. He ordered the fan and came back when it arrived (2 days later). Once it was up and running, I told him about some programs not working or slow, so he ran a malware program and found a lot of malware. He removed it, and found out that I could get free McAfee antivirus with my Time Warner subscription, so he downloaded it for me and started it running. Great service!

Wonderfully. I have used Indy Guru before and I am always happy. I am considering having him come in on a yearly basis and do maintenance on my computer. I have recommended him to my friends.

It worked ok. We got Chrome installed on the computer and it was virtually impossible to get it off. He was able to make it hidden, but wasn’t able to completely get it off because it was impossible to get it off. We resolved the problem and he was a good guy. I’ve called him since then, but his prices have gone very high.

The service worked out well. I asked him for something that I thought was an emergency, but it wasn't an emergency. I had called them out to rescue a computer which water had spilled on, and it turned out that by the time he got here, the water had dried up, and we didn't need anything. He was helpful, and he stayed extra time, he looked at all the other computers, and he gave me some good advise about virus and adware removal on the other computer. I thought he would come for a rescue service, and I thought the $79 was just for an initial visit, and there would be extra for other services. The price was excellent.

Okay. Provider had a terrible cold and it might have been better if he'd waited to come another day. Service was as expected, but I still need help from time to time. This wasn't enough and I just need to learn more myself.

He was very knowlegable, very efficient. The malware damaged the registry and would require many hours of work. I choose not to have the work completed. He did a good job of cleaning up the malware and installing a malware program.

Dave called and made an appointment the day after I purchased a Big Deal. He came to the house and corrected problem on my computer that was putting up error messages and preventing me from downloading software updates. The next day I had some new problems due to "PC cleanup software" which I had previously installed on my computer that undid some of the corrections that he had made. I gave him a call and he remotely corrected those problems and the computer has been humming along ever since. Definitely will call on Dave again when have computer problems.

We called Dave on Saturday morning and we were able to schedule an appointment around 6:00. Dave was on time and ready. determined the source of the problem within a half hour and took remaining time to install new video card. He pointed out that we could use AT&T Mcafee security software at no charge since we are AT&T internet customers.

Dave spent a lot of time on what I needed done. It involved an initial consultation, an afternoon of work, another 3 hours on the following Saturday and two subsequent remote sessions to complete project. Dave did not charge me for full time to complete job due to it going beyond what both of us expected. My old computer was over 10 years old and had data in many different places on it due to being worked on by others before. I also had a large amount of ITunes music which was a bit of a hassle to get all moved keeping all playlists etc. Dave made sure that all I needed was completed. I have confidence that if I have further questions about what was performed that he would help me with answers or solutions. He also made other solutions about what other areas that interested me in regards to my computer, audio, video needs. I recommend Dave and will use him again. He worked with my schedule and I did not have to wait long for his service.

After ordering through Angie's List the provider did not respond.

Dave was great! I gave my contact info on his webpage and he called me within five minutes. Even though I live in Pendleton, he was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem, but he didn't have the correct power supply replacement for my Dell model. He drove to get one in Indianapolis and came back to the house and fixed it the same afternoon. Awesome! His price was very reasonable and we were definitely pleased. Thanks, Dave.

Dave came to my home to service my computer quite expeditiously after my initial call which was really nice. He was very professional, capable, patient, and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him. :-)

He's the 3rd person to address my problem & fixed it. Had error message from Outlook. He discovered my registry had wrong temporary file address & WIN was disabled from updating.

It went great! He took the computer with him and had it back in 2 days! The computer is working outstanding, he was very nice and punctual. I would definetly use him again.

Very efficient, professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain and show me what to do in the future. it took longer than the one hour in the deal but worth every bit. He was thorough and I will use him again for any computer problems as well as recommend him to others who are having issues. What a relief to be able to function again.

Initially it went well but he became harder and harder to get in to our business and then he disappeared right in the middle of a new computer conversion and never came back, he even left some equipment here. We had to search to find another company to finish the job.

My wife's and my three-year-old home desktop PC shut down without warning while I was using it Saturday evening. When it restarted automatically it displayed an error code and a message, "Hard drive - no drive detected." The next morning I first contacted the manufacturer, but their technical support staff informed me that they could not assist me because the system's warranty had expired. By means of the Web browser on my wife's smart phone I searched Angie's List for computer repairers who offer their services on Sunday, and I found Indy Computer Guru. I was pleased to note that the business had excellent customer ratings, and I proceeded to call and request assistance. My wife and I were both delighted with our entire experience. Dave Follas is knowledgeable, skilled, personable as well as professional, responsive, and he communicates well and consistently. After determining (at no charge) that our PC's hard disk could not be salvaged and conferring with us, Dave installed a pair of drives designed to improve our system's performance. He then reinstalled and configured Windows 7, peripheral device drivers, etc. and all of our applications software. Dave talked with me by phone on Sunday, visited our eastside home on Monday to diagnose the problem and then take the PC back to his shop, called Monday evening to provide a status report, returned the functioning system to us on Tuesday, and then worked to ensure that all of our devices were connected and operating correctly and that we had access to all of our Web accounts, etc. During our initial conversation I requested an estimated cost for the job, and the amount charged ultimately (which included a 15% labor cost Angie's discount) was very close to the estimate. Dave gave me good advice regarding several computer matters about which I inquired, and he has kindly responded to follow-up questions that we have posed to him. I am grateful to Angie's List for enabling me to find this outstanding business, which I would recommend to others without reservation and which I intend to use in the future when my wife's and my computer needs repair.
