He was very nice, pleasant, and informative the whole time. It was a pleasant time and I would highly recommend him.

Dave's very competent. He was able to show me solutions to some problems I was having and spent extra time checking my computer at no additional charge to me. I had purchased this service call as a "Big Deal" and certainly got my money's worth. I would use him again in an instant.

My experience with Indy Computer Guru was great. He was able to fit me into his schedule & came to my house in between his other appointments. It was the same day that I called. He got rid of this really awful program, checked my computer for viruses, rescued my pictures from my folders, checked for & installed updates to Adobe & got my email working like it should. What I especially like is that he's good with older people, like me, who don't know enough about computers to accurately describe what they did, or to clearly ask for what they want done. He's very patient & didn't quit until everything with my email & desk top was back in place & working like I wanted. He was also very nice about the whole thing & reassured me that it was a relatively easy mistake for me to make & I actually felt a lot better about my having done something really dumb. I was so grateful that I gave him $15.00 more than he charged for his work.

I responded to a "Big Deal" on Angie's list and called the company and left a message. Dave from Indy Computer Guru LLC was very prompt in calling me back and setting up an appointment in a very timely manner. He arrived on Saturday promptly at 5:00 p.m. and took care of removing my hard drive from my old computer. He also set up an e-mail account on my laptop computer. He also took my old computer for me and he was going to take it to a recycling center.

I had a major problem with Microsoft Office Word. Somehow I messed up the color of the text and could only write in red. No matter what I tried I could not fix it nor could some friends or family. I saw Angie's list had a Big Deal for computer repair. It was one hour of in house computer repair for $38.00. Now that I could afford. Around 7 PM, I called Dave Follas, the owner, to my surprise he answered the phone. I asked if he could fix Microsoft Office Word 2007 or did he just do tech repair on internet problems. He said sure I can fix such a problem, tell me what it is. So I proceeded to explain what my problem was. He said are you sitting at your computer, I said yes. Then he told me over the phone what I needed to do to fix it. He walked me through by telling me which part of the toolbar I should be on, which key to press and so on. Well, he had my problem diagnosed and fixed in about 3 minutes. I was overjoyed and said you didn't charge me anything and you have to make a living. What can I do to pay for this. He said just write a report to Angie's List stating what you think my service is worth. Well, at that moment I thought it was worth a million dollars, I was that happy. Dave was pleasant, listened patiently while I tried my best to tell him what I needed, he didn't give me a run around or talk like I was computer illiterate. He was just friendly and agreeable to help me out without a word about what it would cost. You just can't find people like that in the world today. I have belonged to Angie's List since it's inception. I found everything from remodeling contractors to doctor and dentists by using Angie's List. But I have to say Indy Computer Guru went over and above my expectations. Dave's service was outstanding and so unexpected. He was by far the best service person I have ever found. You can be sure I will use him any time I have a computer problem. All of my friends at our weekly coffee will hear about his tremendous help. I still can't believe how helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and fast he was about my problem.

The experience overall was very pleasant. As stated, with gas so high, Dave drove from Noblesville, did his work and charged a very reasonable rate. He answered my questions, put my computer back in proper working order which made me very happy. I will call him again if I ever have another problem.

The work is always right the first time. If there is ever a glitch, the company responds promptly. They don't "learn on your dime" meaning they don't charge you to learn the specifics about you software or hardware.

He was very understanding of my lack of computer knowledge. He guided me in learning different applications. He was patient and professional. His price was reasonable. I definitely got my moneys worth. Price is per hour.
