Description of Work: A week prior he came to my home and helped me order a new computer and printer and get a website established. He helped me order what I needed in a computer. He came out and installed the new computer and printer and assisted me in the using the computer and set things up for me.

Description of Work: Dave was very helpful. Originally he came to help me with laptop problems. When it became apparent that the laptop needed to be replaced Dave came back again to help me set up the new one. In addition he set up my laptop to my printer on a wireless basis, made our network secure and gave me lessons on things that I did not know about my new laptop and how to use some DVD's that I had had for years and had been unable to open. Dave took the time to answer all of my questions. He never made me feel rushed or stupid. I'll definately recommend him and use him again. Thanks Dave!

Description of Work: Dave came over in response to my call of my PC not powering up. One night it was up and running, the next day nothing. That night i actually went online to buy a new computer, but stopped and called Dave. Dave came over with a power supply, opened my tower, connected the new power supply and - WALAH! I was up and running again. Dave was also kind enough to help with my wireless network, and air dust the inside of my tower. Pure awesomeness!

Description of Work: When Angie's List had a special rate for this company, I bought it for an elderly friend who had been having trouble with her older model computer. She also wanted to know if her computer had the ability to skype. The Computer Guru was at her house within a week of calling - fixed, updated and cleaned up her computer (of viruses). She did have to spend more (I'm not sure how much) for the necessary updates and to buy a camera so she could skype (he told her which camera was best to buy for her computer), but she was thrilled how much better her computer worked and how well he explained all that he did on her computer. She was so glad to have someone come to her home to fix her computer and said he was so nice and polite.

Description of Work: This service provided under Angies List "specials" program, one hour of service for $38. My problem was I was having an unusual number of "pop-up" adds, very disturbing. ICG is a one man operation with 15 year's experience. He discovered an unwanted program I'd unknownly picked up which was causing problem, program deleted, problem solved. He went through all the programs to be sure there were not any I didn't want or need. He checked out a number of other things, loaded a malware program for my use and made several other suggestions. I am pleased with service, very worthwhile at regular rate. I'm glad to know of a service like this, one which comes to your home as opposed to having to take computer in to a shop and leave for a couple days.
