Description of Work: I have Scotts coming out to my house on a regular basis to fertilize our lawn, add weed eradicators, and other lawn care. I appreciate that they continue to honor my request that they call me to let me know when they will be coming. I am not as happy about the frequent phone calls attempting to add on additional services. But there is no question that, after about 3 years of care, my lawn is looking much better than it did before.

Description of Work: I signed up for the love my grass treatment from Scotts'. After the first application I have seem a great amount of improvement. My grass is getting thicker and greener and the weeds are disappearing. I just received treatment number two yesterday. My grass use to have more little clovers than grass. Now I see more grass.

Description of Work: Received a flyer in mail for free Scott's lawn analysis and 10% off lawn care. Spouse called Scotts, spoke to Jake who said he viewed property by sattelite and area needing service is 7500 square feet. He quoted price of $59.00 per treatment and a $30 gift card for new customer. Next day I called to possibly set up service and spoke to Mike. Mike said there was no record of previous days quote. Said he looked at our property by sattelite and today it was 11,000 square feet. Today the price was $70.97 per treatment and $30 gift card. He agreed to apply the gift card to service instead and gave me a new price. When I asked why the new price was $18 less and not $30 he said he made a math error. Mike very cocky bordering on rude. I called back and left a message for Jake to call me (I was told he was busy on another line). Later Mike called back, talked to my husband, saying Jake would not be calling us and the price he (Mike) gave us was the price to take it or leave it. Very arrogant and cocky. Not sure why Scott's would want someone like Mike representing the company or how the area of our lot needing treatment grew 3500 square feet overnight, or why Mike's math became bad (making the price higher) but after being told to take it or leave it, we'll leave it. Too many honest good companies out there to deal with sleazy arrogant people like this.

Description of Work: We didn't set a specific day for them to come and do the first treatment but it wound up being roundabout when I would have expected them. They did say they would call the day before-- and didn't-- but that's no big deal. I'm signed up for a series of fertilizing treatments so the real test will be how the lawn looks in a few months. Amount paid for work is approximate-- I don't have the invoice handy.
