It went well and the price was right. When he left, everything was patched up and ready to paint.

The job to repair the step was particularly complex. Another contractor installed new tile in the kitchen and left uneven surface where the wood trim of the step met the tile. The wood trim was about 1/2 lower than the tile. Several contractors just scratched their heads as to how to repair it. Ray had no problem taking apart and fixing it. Looks 200% better than it did. The workers were very good to clean up after themselves and keep their tools together as they moved thru the house doing different jobs. I will definitely call on them again. Courteous and punctual and got the work done very quickly.

The work was scheduled and performed within a reasonable time frame and met my expectations. The 2-person team scheduled a time to discuss the work before the starting date. I would/will use Tapia's again.

We bought the Angie's List deal for $99 for 4 hour of drywall service. Upon speaking with the owner he had a one week wait till he was able to come out and perform the service. The next day I received a call from the owner stating that he had some free time that had open up and wonder if he could come that day. I was excited that he called and was happy to rearrange my plans so he could come a week earlier. When he arrived he was on time and ready to work with another worker. Per deal description we were to purchase all material and he would supply the labor. ( Placement of drywall, mud and tape) My kitchen is in the late remodeling stage so we were only going to have him do one wall. Kind of playing it safe to see how his workmanship holds up. After speaking with him, mind you his English is broken and a bit hard to understand at times. He definitely gave me a good 2 plus hours of work until it was getting late. He came back in the morning early (6 am) agreed upon time to finish the remaining hours. Very professional and on time. We came to an agreement that he would do the rest of the kitchen for a very reasonable price. I will follow up when the job is completed with mudding, taping and finishing done.

This was a "4 hours of drywall service for $100" special. It was all fine. I was to provide the drywall and it turned out I bought 1/2" but needed 5/8" and the provider had some and offered to give it to me for free. That was generous and i compensated for that and a little more with a tip. The only issue I didn't understand is that the final coat would not be totally finished. It was still wet when they were done so I will have to do some minor sanding myself.

Arrival was puntuctual and work provided was of the up most quality. It isn't often you can find someone with the skill to work with repairing plaster and Tapia's Co. has that skill! I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring exceptional service.

The work was done very professionally. He showed up right on time and fixed all the sports we needed to have cleaned up. We had purchased a daily deal for 4 hours of work and gave us the full 4 hours. He then told us how we could either finish the job (sanding/priming a few days later) or he could come back for an additional charge. Seeing how we already messed things up a bit on our own, we paid to have him come back and get the job done correctly.

We got a 4 hour deal for dry wall repair and the repairs were done so well. He also did some extra reno work at a very reasonable price. Great work!!

He arrived right on time, laid out the tarps and quickly completed the work and even asked if I had any other dry wall issues I might need repaired as there was still plenty of time left on the deal. Overall- very good work done quickly

They were a pleasure to deal with. Punctual, courteous and friendly. They had to perform a lot of drywall repairs to the upstairs due to a recent roof replacement. They also repaired the kitchen ceiling. They performed the work on time and cleaned up after themselves.We have no hesitation in recommending Tapias for any house painting.

The fence was very elaborate and complicated. He did a very good job. It was extremely professional and detail oriented. It looks beautiful and everything went perfectly.

Mr. Tapia is a true professional. A pleasure to watch him work. He is an "old school" guy that believes in repairing instead of replacing.

I spent several days playing "telephone tag" with Mr. Aguilar; a family member took messages and then called back and left messages. Once we agreed on an appointment, he was right on time. After giving me an estimate, he was able to do the work the same day. I had already purchased the new post and mailbox; he obtained the cement to install it. He checked with me on a couple of questions during the job, and finished within two hours, everything cleaned up, too. The cost was a little higher than I anticipated, but the work was done well and quickly. I will definitely call Mr. Aguilar again for future work. Mr. Aguilar speaks accented English, and I used a little Spanish to clarify a couple of things, but there were no misunderstandings.

Showed up to provide hard dollar estimate which was better than pricing I was getting from others, plus the big bonus was that he could start soon, no "2 week windows" Polite, courteous and eager to please. Works hard. English is perfectly acceptable and didn't find communication to be an issue. He's got the required skills, and is not a hack. I am getting more work lined up for him around here. Big thumbs up.

There was a bit of a scheduling error but we worked it out. He was very dilligent in getting everything completed when I needed it. Great work ethic and he is very talented. I did want to spend a of money and he definitely worked with me in that area. Very pleased, would call him again.

The door was not sealed properly and the wind can from through the door way. He claims that it is a defect in the door. The door manufacturer asked me to send them some measurements of the door and installation. They concluded the door was not installed properly. I have tried to call Tapia's several times and they have stopped returned calls.

They did a beautiful job and their prices were very reasonable. I recommended them to a neighbor and they used them as well.

Raymundo and his crew did an outstanding job on the construction of our new stair railing and banister. They worked long hours and got the job done in total within four days. They were very courteous and responsive. They also worked to minimize the mess created by the demo and construction of the project. Their attention to detail was great and the finished product exceeded my expectations. There was one small part that they were not able to fix and I wish he could have come up with a solution; however, overall I was extremely pleased with his work. He is hard to communicate with over the phone but his children do help out with this. As a previous report states, most communication should be done face-to-face, as this seemed to be much more effective. I would certainly recommend his carpentry services.

Raymundo is an excellent craftsman and highly proficient painter. As I am a residential architect, my experience in the building industry is very lengthy and for the money, Raymundo is one of the best I have worked with. Our stair banister looks like an antique after he had stripped the old finish and applied new stain and sealer. He is very hard working, a good problem solver and enjoyable to work with. This job was time and materials as my decisions change daily. He comes highly recommended from me.

Excellent. No problems. Hard working, dependable, and trustworthy. Performed work while I was not at home. Has an accent, but communication lapses are easily overcome with patience and/or the help of his older children. However I recommend doing main communication in person as opposed to phone or email.

A true craftsman of the highest quality. Raymundo's carpentry work was far superior to the original wood trim installed by the home builder. His painting skills are first rate with perfect attention to preparation, priming and finish painting. Highly recommended for highest quality carpentry and painting. Note: A previous Angie's report said his English language ability was poor, but he is taking ESL classes and his English speaking is already at an adequate level.
