I would grade them A-plus for every category.

They are very truthful and genuine. It is a smaller shop so the work takes a little bit longer than a city dealer would take less than half an hour.

In my few visits with them, North Shore Automotive has exceeded my expectations. For one job, I had an estimate from both the dealer and NSA and they were cheaper by a $100 or so. I appreciate the follow up (calling to check to make sure everything is ok following service) and also receiving holiday cards in the mail with coupons! It is a smaller operation, so takes a little longer than when I would get work done at the dealer, but I'm always happy to camp out at the Starbucks or Panera down the road. In general, everyone at North Shore Automotive seems like genuine, trustworthy people that want to do the best for their customers and try to go above and beyond expectations.

They're honest, efficient, and totally reliable. They're always very helpful.

I asked Tim to find me a hybrid I could drive professionally, thinking it would be a 2004 Camry hybrid with 60+K miles. He did better than expected with this Prius.

Ryan is very helpful and has a positive attitude with good service. I feel that the work is thoughtful and that my car is taken care of.

I have a 2004 BMW with about 100,000 miles, i noticed something when i accelerated but didn't think much of it at first. After about a month or so it started to get worse and my car was becoming more and more sluggish. I took it to a friend of a friend and they quoted me 2,800. I heard about this company through another friend and decided to check them out. They were very friendly after an inspection they showed me wha the roblem was. It was a leak in the fuel line, and i've be procrastinating a tune up as well. They quoted me at 1,600 for everything and said it would take less that a day. I dropped it off the following morning, after work i stopped by the shop and it was ready to pick up. The total came out to 1,627.33 which was a big relief i was very worried about overages and unexpected problems. As soon as i got it back on the road i could tell the difference. I called North Shore Automotive and initially spoke to Ryan. He was incredibly helpful and seemed genuine. Ryan was able to accommodate my tight time-frame and fit me in on short notice. They gave me an inspection sheet of all the items they reviewed and their condition, which I appreciated.

We've used them several times in the past. We are able to get the car in the next day when we call. They drive us back home and pick us up, and they do a lot of work on Toyotas. I would definitely recommend them. I like their professionalism and they know what they are doing. We thought their price was high, but my husband came home and did some research, and found out that what they charge is the going rate in the area.

They always thank us for our business, whether a small job (such as an oil change) or additional work (e.g., brake repair, tire repair). You can trust Northshore Automotive to do quality work on your car. We would not go anywhere else for our car maintenance.

I've been a long-time customer of NS Auto (over ten years). I've always found them to be extremely competent, professional, and friendly. They explain what needs to be done in simple English and take pride in their work. Also, they do not talk down to women. I have had only positive experiences with NS Auto including a pre-owned car I bought about six years ago. I've never had a problem with it. I trust this company and recommend them for repairs/service and purchases of pre-owned vehicles.

Had been having problems with the car for past several months. Had taken it to another place, who ended up charging me almost the same amount to fix "other problems" that they seem to have made worse, without fixing the main problem (which turned out to be the transmission needing replacing. The man from North Shore kept in touch with me while they were diagnosing the problem, and found a used transmission. He also fixed some other minor problems the car has had for the past year that the other place was not able to fix. The work was done on time and at the price they quoted me. The car is running wonderfully for the first time in a year. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

I brought my car into to have the arm and struts replaced on our van. The job took longer than expected because of unforeseen problems but Tim made sure that we were able to have our van back in time to leave for vacation. He gave me a car to use overnight and did not charge us additional $$$. They are more than fair when it comes to auto repair and bend over backwards for their customers. I will never bring my Toyota anywhere else

These guys were courteous and professional from start to finish. Most importantly, they were ready to work on my car when I brought it in for my 10:30 am appointment. No hassle, delays, sorry-we've-had-a-few-setbacks-and-we'll-get-to-yours-later kind of stuff. They swapped out my snow tires for my regular tires, paying attention to the wear pattern and putting the tires on appropriately. The mechanic also offered me some helpful advice regarding buying lock nuts (from the dealer, not from them). All in all, a very positive experience for me.

They were very good. They are very prompt and explain things.

I called because the engine light went on in my four-year-old Honda and it was driving unevenly. I was nervous about driving it, and was relieved to be able to get in the same day to have it looked at. They determined that it was a computer issue and that, unfortunately, I'd have to take it to the dealer for reset/repair (I think they mentioned that it might be under warranty). However, North Shore didn't charge me for the diagnosis and wrote up exactly what the issue was for the dealer (and recommended a good technician at the dealership). They also took the time to answer my questions about an unrelated issue. This was my first visit and they were very helpful, pleasant, and professional and I will definitely go back.

The only delay was that they had to order a part overnight. The mechanic Sherry Shea is especially great!

They are personable, honest, and respectable. They're pretty reliable and convenient for me. I can drop my car off and go to work. They make arrangements to drop it off earlier. I don't think they are expensive either. I'm very happy with them overall.

They were recommended to us by a guy at a dealership. They do an excellent job and are cheaper than the dealership; they are not cheap but are cheaper than most. The turnaround time is quick. I like them because they seem to be a sort of a smaller organization that seems to be more focused on the customer. When I drop my car off, everything is done in a timely manner. They are knowledgeable and friendly. All of them used to work for dealerships but have probably decided that they want to do things their way or whatever. I have always been very pleased with them and their work. I would use them again in the future.

I've used them multiple times for many jobs (a/c, brakes, timing belt, etc...) and have always been pleased with their service. They are a great crew and treat their customers well, almost like family.

We have an old '97 Camry with 105k on it. I brought the car in for a complete once over since it had been a few years for a thorough servicing (aside from oil and coolant changes). They gave me a complete list of everything and some good recommendations about what really needed servicing and what could wait. It's nice when you are given a choice. North Shore is not the most inexpensive shop, but they use genuine Toyota parts and do the repair properly the first time. I have been going to him for over 5 years and have yet to have a bad experience. It's a shame they don't work on older bimmers...

North Shore specializes in foreign vehicles. I myself have taken my Volkswagen, Honda, and Subaru to them. They do repairs as well as sell used cars. The price and the service are both excellent. It is a smaller shop, however there have been times when I have gone in for servicing and wondered where I was going to park. The only problem I have had with them is the space issue. I have always been able to get my vehicle in to them. They are very prompt. I have been very happy with the service I have received from them.

They were extremely pleasant, kept me informed of their progress and completed the service within a few hours. When we took our car in, we told them we were concerned about a noise we were hearing when applying the brakes while driving in reverse. They could have used this as an opportunity to sell us some additional work, but instead they looked into our complaint and let us know they found nothing wrong with the brakes. I'm always a little nervous about getting sold auto services I don't really need, so this was a very positive experience for me, and one that will make a first-time customer into a long-time one.

Very well, they were ready 1 day early and did a nice job. They car has a good overall feel again.
