Although we specialize in Toyota, Lexus, Honda,and Acura we service all makes and models. We also offer the best certified pre-owned cars in town. Our company does everything possible to accommodate each customer. We offer warranties for the cars we sell and provide free local shuttle service to take our customers home or to work while their vehicle is being repaired. They are very truthful and genuine. It is a smaller shop so the work takes a little bit longer than a city dealer would take less than half an hour.

In my few visits with them, North Shore Automotive has exceeded my expectations. For one job, I had an estimate from both the dealer and NSA and they were cheaper by a $100 or so. I appreciate the follow up (calling to check to make sure everything is ok following service) and also receiving holiday cards in the mail with coupons! It is a smaller operation, so takes a little longer than when I would get work done at the dealer, but I'm always happy to camp out at the Starbucks or Panera down the road. In general, everyone at North Shore Automotive seems like genuine, trustworthy people that want to do the best for their customers and try to go above and beyond expectations.

I asked Tim to find me a hybrid I could drive professionally, thinking it would be a 2004 Camry hybrid with 60+K miles. He did better than expected with this Prius.

I have a 2004 BMW with about 100,000 miles, i noticed something when i accelerated but didn't think much of it at first. After about a month or so it started to get worse and my car was becoming more and more sluggish. I took it to a friend of a friend and they quoted me 2,800. I heard about this company through another friend and decided to check them out. They were very friendly after an inspection they showed me wha the roblem was. It was a leak in the fuel line, and i've be procrastinating a tune up as well. They quoted me at 1,600 for everything and said it would take less that a day. I dropped it off the following morning, after work i stopped by the shop and it was ready to pick up. The total came out to 1,627.33 which was a big relief i was very worried about overages and unexpected problems. As soon as i got it back on the road i could tell the difference. It was my old X5 again, havent had any problems since. Thanks North Shore

I called North Shore Automotive and initially spoke to Ryan. He was incredibly helpful and seemed genuine. Ryan was able to accommodate my tight time-frame and fit me in on short notice. They gave me an inspection sheet of all the items they reviewed and their condition, which I appreciated.

We've used them several times in the past. We are able to get the car in the next day when we call. They drive us back home and pick us up, and they do a lot of work on Toyotas. I would definitely recommend them. I like their professionalism and they know what they are doing. We thought their price was high, but my husband came home and did some research, and found out that what they charge is the going rate in the area.

My husband and I have been customers of Northshore Automotive for years. The staff and owner, Tim Fella, have always been professional and honest in the work they recommend and in the work they do. They always thank us for our business, whether a small job (such as an oil change) or additional work (e.g., brake repair, tire repair). I've been a long-time customer of NS Auto (over ten years). I've always found them to be extremely competent, professional, and friendly. They explain what needs to be done in simple English and take pride in their work. Also, they do not talk down to women. I have had only positive experiences with NS Auto including a pre-owned car I bought about six years ago. I've never had a problem with it. I trust this company and recommend them for repairs/service and purchases of pre-owned vehicles.

Had been having problems with the car for past several months. Had taken it to another place, who ended up charging me almost the same amount to fix "other problems" that they seem to have made worse, without fixing the main problem (which turned out to be the transmission needing replacing.
The man from North Shore kept in touch with me while they were diagnosing the problem, and found a used transmission. He also fixed some other minor problems the car has had for the past year that the other place was not able to fix. The work was done on time and at the price they quoted me. The car is running wonderfully for the first time in a year.
I will definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

I brought my car into to have the arm and struts replaced on our van. The job took longer than expected because of unforeseen problems but Tim made sure that we were able to have our van back in time to leave for vacation. He gave me a car to use overnight and did not charge us additional $$$. They are more than fair when it comes to auto repair and bend over backwards for their customers. I will never bring my Toyota anywhere else

These guys were courteous and professional from start to finish. Most importantly, they were ready to work on my car when I brought it in for my 10:30 am appointment. No hassle, delays, sorry-we've-had-a-few-setbacks-and-we'll-get-to-yours-later kind of stuff. They swapped out my snow tires for my regular tires, paying attention to the wear pattern and putting the tires on appropriately. The mechanic also offered me some helpful advice regarding buying lock nuts (from the dealer, not from them).
All in all, a very positive experience for me.
