It was difficult to schedule and then after the appointed time I got a call that the appointment was cancelled. When the work got done the job was done well, but scheduling was a real challenge

put together a cabinet and worked on a mail box, everything was okay.

They were prompt with coming out very quickly. I appreciated that. They were fairly thorough.

Nick was great! He was very professional, punctual, friendly and helpful. He handled all of our requests efficiently and effectively in the two hours we had him here. We needed a cheap fix to the doors on our garbage bin enclosure and he was able to come up with a clever and inexpensive solution that works.

The gutters were being cleaned when I arrived home from work. The cleaner arrived promptly before the appointed time and work was done efficiently. He explained where the gutters needed the most cleaning. He bagged up the debris and placed it in the garbage. I would hire them again.

It did not go at all and I am requesting a FULL REFUND of the $99 that I paid for these services. I will NOT work with Amruss. During the purchase, I was asked to provide 3 different times, which would be preferred. I indicated 3 timeslots. When I received the "introduction email" from Amruss - they could not even get the needed/requested service correct. Within their email, they indicated "Tile Grouting/Caulking". At first look, this is a mistake, however very unprofessional. The email basically dictated a time that fell outside of my 3 choices and asked that I respond and confirm the appointment time. I felt the need to call Amruss directly, because 1) They didn't even have the correct service listed and I could see them sending out the wrong person with the wrong supplies on hand, etc. 2) The appointment time was absolutely not going to work. Upon calling them, a woman answers "Hello?". Not "Hello, this is Amruss". Not "Hello, may I help you?". It was as if I was just calling anyone. Then she couldn't figure out what my order was for. And then she finally found that I requested services under Angie's List. She never apologized for the fact that they had the wrong services listed in the email and wouldn't even address that. Even after I had asked "What if I hadn't noticed it? You would have sent out a person thinking they were going to be grouting tile!" Then came the fun part - trying to schedule services. She said that none of my requested times were available. I had asked the simple question of "Why don't you coordinate with Angie's List such that times which are not available are blocked out and the customer cannot choose those times? It can cause a problem, because I made the purchase based upon the fact that those times appeared to be 'available'." All she kept saying was, "It's not our fault; it's Angie's List fault..." Not apologetic/sympathetic. Not helpful at all. Basically, she told me that she would not have availability for maybe 2 weeks. I need these services done much sooner than that. I need it done this week. She refused to try and work with me. She offered up the original appointment time they "suggested", which was for this week, but it was during a time that I absolutely could not swing. I tried to offer to even stay home all that day - if they could just come out earlier in the day; rather than 3 PM - 5PM, because I had an engagement that day. No wiggle room whatsoever. Anyway, under different circumstances - had this person been professional, courteous, accommodating, apologetic or sympathetic, it may not have been as big of a deal as it turned out to be. But when I make a purchase and I am treated with outright unprofessional behaviour, there is no way that I am going to trust them in my home to complete a job correctly. This is my first purchase from Angie's List and I am horribly disappointed. I went through Angie's List, because of all the talk about how vendors/service providers are pre-screened, etc. etc. etc. Well this one slipped through. I am requesting a FULL REFUND of my $99. And I expect to hear from someone at A.L. very soon!!! Thank you, Jeff Clark

They jerked me around trying to schedule the appointment. Made it seem like I was an inconvenience. Then they didn't show when they finally squeezed me in. I scrubbed the tub the night before and didn't shower that morning. Very rude and unprofessional. Also their regular fee was no different than their 'deal' price on Angie's list.

Nick did a great job in the bathroom. The grout and caulking were done well. Also, he cleaned the area well at the conclusion of the job.

Great, handyman was on time and efficient.

It went excellent--even fixed a door 3 other handymen services said they could not fix without tearing the door out--no problem for Amruss! Thank you

All went well, both jobs done in less than 2 hours!

Well. A bit of telephone lag, but the work was completed well and the contractor provided information at completion as well.

Not so well. The handyman that was provided seemed very young and inexperienced. He did not seem sure how to do the assessment, and suggested that he would have to remove all of the siding and caulk/sealant around the door to do an assessment, which would take much longer than the 2 hours we had purchased. We then directed him to another project to repair a leaky valve on the water line to our fridge. He said he didn't have the parts that would be needed for that. So we directed him to a leaky drain pipe under our utility sink. He was able to address that.

Poorly, sloppy, smoked in the house and couldn't finish 3rd room as needed to remove plastic strips covering caulk.

Worse than anyone I ever had to deal with on any site ever. Angies clearly doesn't control who they back. This is the end of Angies List for me.

They told my wife that what I wanted done didn't need to be done and they just recaulked shower.

It went well. The individual who came to my house was a very hard worker. She was upfront with me about how much time she thought was needed to clean my home.

Excellent job. Nick arrived here ready to work. Very organized/neat. Removed old grout totally around bathtub and applied new grout in one hour. Cleaned up old material--left everything tidy. He told me that I needed to wait 24 hours before using shower. I was very happy to be able to use the shower again!

nick showed up on time and ready to work he hussaled the whole time and didn't stop working on 2 two showers the whole time. great bargain

They were responsive and got is in right when the the weather was warm enough to do the work.

Absolute disaster. He used a color that didn't match to "patch" it in a few places. We let it dry for almost 72 hours (24 more than supposed to) patches fell out the 1st time we showered. I contacted the company. STILL awaiting refund. BTW, when I questioned why he used the lighter color to patch the grout, he said, "it will match when it gets dirty"! Unbelievable!

That was just fine. I wasn't here. Fine, as far as I can tell. No issues. They did what they said that they were going to do, and it was fine.

Excellent. Nick was on time and was very efficient in getting these 2 projects completed. He gave me ideas on how the door was supposed to be installed.
