I called several companies. This company was prompt with the quote, could set up a work date in a timely fashion, and was in line with other quotes. The workers arrived when scheduled and got right to work. I had insulation blown in to the attic to R-38 and had cellulose insulation blown in to the walls, which required drilling holes in the exterior, blowing in the insulation and plugging the holes. Work was done quickly and effectively with clean up done to the level of their arrival. I would definitely recommend Illinois Insulators, Inc. for blown in insulation needs.

Friendly group. Go about their business of getting the job done efficiently. Had entire home ceilings insulated. We felt the difference in the home right away. Our second floor is no longer a sauna. Be aware of the touching up afterwards. It was money well spent for a necessity.

Today we had a great experience. It all started out a week ago when our estimator John came by and we explained all of our concerns. Today they were very professional, efficient, and entertaining. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Great bunch of guys - Sal the foreman, Justin, Christian, Sean, and "D". We had blow-in cellulose injected into 3 levels of our home in the exterior walls, and in the unfinished portion of our basement, they used batt insulation between the joists. Overall, it was a very fair price, and they delivered what they promised. I am very pleased by the service and I can already feel the difference in our home.

We got a quote from Steve G. for insulating our exterior walls of our two north facing bedrooms and the garage ceiling and front overhang under those bedrooms. We always had to use portable heaters in those rooms. we had this done in Dec. 2015. Our kids came home for the holidays and we did not need the heaters. The rooms were very comfortable without them. I got the rooms ready as instructed for them to do there work. They showed up on time as quoted and covered up all items to protect from dust. They drilled the holes in the walls and ceiling (in garage and overhang), installed the blown-in insulation, plugged the holes and covered it with joint compound and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this company for any of your insulation needs.

We have 2 attics, an upper attic and a lower attic and the upper attic is not accessible. They insisted they could access it, and cut a hole in the closet and in the roof (without telling us). When doing the work, they told us that they could not access the upper attic. They asked if they should just spray foam into the hole in the closet. I said no because they wouldn't be able to see where they were insulating. Later, when it began to rain, my son called the company and the salesman said the leaking wasn't their fault. The salesman did then transfer my son to the owner who was rude and insulted my son. We had the roof replaced the summer before this and the roofers had taken pictures of their work and we were able to get those pictures and send them to the Better Business Bureau to show that the hole was not there in the roof. Through the Better Business Bureau, we were able to have the repairs for the hole cut in our roof repaired, and after some difficulty, the hole in the closet patched and repainted. The whole situation was a long and painful experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
