Description of Work: My old garage door opener was not working. Paul gave me a few options to replace as parts were no longer available to fix my antique Genie opener. I decided to go with a new Liftmaster (Chamberlain) 1/2 HP opener, with the addition of extra remotes and keyless entry unit. Installers were pleasant and cleaned up any litter that may have fallen onto the garage floor. Paul then came to check out the installation and spent time explaining all the functions of this new opener. Made sure that I was well informed. All in all, I am happy and recommend this company.

Description of Work: They are also known as "Rons Garage Door" on the invoice. They were able to come the same afternoon. They called first as promised. They fixed the broken cable on one of the doors and installed 2 new transmitters with the remotes. Lubed and serviced both units, lubed the rails, tightened nuts, etc.

 + -1 moreAfter having 2 other companies come to service the door and leave saying they couldn't, and I'd have to replace the door for about $1000. A friend recommended Nelson Garage Doors. He came the day I called, and finished the job within an hour of arriving. The repair was pretty minor, and I certainly didn't need to replace the door.
Description of Work: One of the cables on our garage door broke. Nelson Garage Door replaced the cable and put new screws in a support at the top of the garage.

 + -1 morePaul answered his phone on the first try. He came out when he said he would (and even called a half hour before arriving to insure I was home when he came by). Paul gave me an estimate and also described what distinguishes him from his competitors. I was very impressed and called him the next day with the go ahead to complete the project. The project was completed within two days and for the price he quoted. Paul did a great job! I would highly recommend him for any of your garage door needs.
