.They completed the bathroom and we were very happy with them. Overall it was a good experience. The only thing is that the tile did not match exactly with the tub. But they came back and fixed it. It matches perfectly now. So if there is a problem they would resolve that. They made every effort please us. That is why we are moving forward with them doing our kitchen. They may have been little more expensive than the other ones but we get what we paid for. We are very happy with them. I will use them in the kitchen.

They were very professional, punctual and the products they recommended were top end and of good quality. The price was a little more than we thought we could spend. We have since had several other companies give us estimates. Surprisingly enough, the estimates were not that much less, and we did not feel comfortable with them. They were not as professional, nor did they seem as "on top" of what they were going to do with our job. Synergy was by far the best and easiest to deal with. I feel comfortable in saying that we will, when able to, contract with them to do the job.

The price was reasonable. We went with them because of their professionalism, quality of samples and mainly because of their availability.

I highly recommend Synergy Builders. They were not the cheapest quote (by far), but you get what you pay for. Synergy was wonderful to work with. Brooke, the designer, is a talented professional designer who obviously loves her job! She listed carefully to my ideas and had many great ideas of her own that were very helpful in creating my "dream bathroom". Adam, the project manager, was very nice, and very easy to work with as well. He answered all of my questions and was easy to get a hold of by phone and email. The only small hitch in the project was that the vanity I picked had raised front drawer panels that stick out farther than normal cabinet fronts, and the vanity top was ordered as a "standard depth", so at first, the edge of the countertop didn't extend past the cabinets. It didn't look right and water would have dripped off the countertop into the drawers. I was surprised that the countertop installers didn't try to fix this because it obviously looked wrong, but when I asked about it they just shrugged their shoulders. After they left, I expressed my concern to Adam (and said to him that I relied on their professional expertise to know that that the drawer fronts that I selected would be deeper than "standard" depth), he immediately offered several suggestions to resolve the problem. They moved the countertop out from the wall about 1/2 inch, and because the mirror frame was so large, it covers the gap. {In the future, Synergy should recommend ordering a countertop that is 1/2" deeper than standard for raised-drawer-front vanities.} It looks good now, and I am happy with the results, but I know that there is a gap back there behind the vanity top. The drywall installers were a little rough on my house- they put a notch in the drywall in the stairwell and scratched my handrail, but both of these issues were resolved to my satisfaction before the end of the project. The tile guy was an absolute perfectionist- and the tile is gorgeous. Home remodeling is always a little stressful (with the dust & people coming & going), but Synergy did an amazing job, and I would definitely hire them again and have already started recommending them to friends.

It went very well. The bathrooms look very nice. The granite she recommended was unbelievable. The design consultation was the best part. They knew what they were doing and did a great job. We are very pleased with them and would highly recommend them as well.

He came out promptly and we talked about the project. He was to provide me with an estimate but he never got back to me. He said that he would be emailing the quote. I never received the email. I called up and reminded him. He said he would resend it. I still did not get it. They are sort of out of the running now. I had a feeling that maybe our project was too small for them. It is not going to be a $25,000 project and they seemed to be geared for large business projects. They have a very sophisticated bidding process. He showed it to me and it was all computerized. I never got any feedback after talking to him twice - that to me may have been his way of quietly ending his association with the project. I don?t know - it is only my impression. We are going to use another provider for the work.

The employees were very responsive. If there were any issues Synergy did address those right away. Please make sure you have exact details in change orders. Also, make sure the contract states exact pricing and any changes in pricing is initialled. We are very pleased with Synergy and look forward to having them do additional work. Everyone was great to work with and the house really exceeded our expectations. Timing of the project was right on. We had great vendors on this project and everyone worked together.

One of the head people is superb in planning. We met him several times to plan the basement renovation. They follow through. They give you ideas but they also take your ideas into account. They listen carefully to what some of your goals are and what you want and incorporate that into their planning. The planning was done in detail ahead in line. They even loaded it on the computer. They are exceptional in terms of planning. Throughout the job they made modifications when they needed to. They followed through to get building permits and getting approvals. It is a tricky business to get approvals, and they were very good about making modifications in between and getting approval. They followed through in the end as well. When all the work was over they came to make sure we were satisfied and there were couple of things that needed to be taken care of. They were not the cheapest but they were worth every penny. They were here today doing something else as well. I would rate them high overall. They were very careful and thorough in planning ahead of time so that you don?t run into any unexpected problems. They are reliable. They show up when they say they are going to. They follow through on things. I will definitely use them in the future.

Excellent from design phase to completion of work. Took a small master bath, knocked down a wall and took out a closet to enlarge the space. Workers were professional, on time, communication was very good. Project manager stopped by every day to check on work. Very careful not to damage any part of the adjoining master bedroom. Quality of work was outstanding.

We were very happy that we hired another company who did check behind the wallboard the first time they came out.

They were professional and courteous and their estimates were competitive with the other contractors we had out. In the end we decided against the entire project, but if we did anything in the future we would probably call Synergy back. They have since followed up regularly with us, but have not pestered us.

I just had them come out and look at the work that needed to be done, but I didn?t use their services. I called them on April 5th and they set up an appointment on the next day. They gave me a very good and complete quote, but the price was high. I didn?t choose them basically for their price and I hired someone else.

They were very responsive and gave a competitive quote, but we decided that we were going to do the work ourselves. We decided that the cost was more than we could afford to have someone else do the work. They were very professional and thorough.

Synergy was great to work with. All of their staff were professional, courteous, and performed high quality work. They finished in a timely manner and the end product was outstanding. The best thing I can say about Synergy: my wife's parents had their basement done a few months later by Synergy as did many of our and their neighbors. The work speaks for itself.

It was completed in a very timely manner; they were prompt, listened to our needs. Everything worked out very well. We would strongly recommend them for work in basement remodeling. They were very responsive to what we had in mind and working with our plans.

Our basement had some design challenges. We had Synergy come out and give us an estimate on what it would cost to finish the basement. They were one of five companies to give us an estimate. We decided to go ahead with Synergy. We chose Synergy because of their willingness to take our opinions into the design. Other contractors made us feel as though their design could not be altered. Also, they had the best plan to deal with the challenges. We visited their showroom twice. Once to see the design plan and next to pick out certain elements we wanted included in our basement. From the very beginning, Synergy made us feel very involved with everything. We were given a timeline on how the work would go. Synergy stuck right to the timeline. We were assigned a contractor who oversaw the entire project. He kept us very involved with everything that was going on with the basement. He would call to keep us updated on the next step. He was always available for questions. First, the basement was framed with electrical work done, then came the drywall, next, the paint, then the cabinets and desk were installed, then the flooring was installed, and lastly, our flat screen television and surround sound speakers were hung. We had a closeout meeting with Synergy a couple weeks after the work was completed to go over the work done in the basement. The overall project took about six weeks. Payments were done in steps, which was nice. Overall, we enjoyed working with Synergy. We are extremely happy with our basement.

Synergy is a great company. They were prompt with our first home visit and very professional. We used the coupon on Angie's List and had quite an extensive bid put together. They spent time with us, never made us feel that we should feel rushed, and are obviously very knowledgeable. Although we did go with a different company it was a VERY close decision and for future remodeling we will again want them to bid on projects. I would highly recommend looking into Synergy for your remodeling needs.

Overall we were happy with Synergy. The design process went well and we worked together for hours at their showroom to come up with a basement layout that would best suit us. Once that was finalized, they provided us with a timeline for the project (Nov.- Jan. '08). For the most part, things ran smoothly. We added a few things along the way and asked them to change some items that didn't look right, which they did without issue. Towards the end though, there was a lack of communication and we felt that they had moved on to another job and left little things unfinished... wetbar cabinets were flawed and needed replacing, carpet was finished poorly and needed fixing, the alarm system was not reinstalled correctly. They'd say they were coming to fix something and not show up or call... this has happened repeatedly over the past three months. We're still waiting for cabinets to be replaced/fixed. All in all, we are very happy with the quality of their work and love our new basement!

I had this "pipe dream" of having this work done by Christmas, and didn't even have the notion until September. It was critical that any contractor be honest in meeting this expectation...yet we didn't want to compromise quality. John met with us in our home. He set some realistic expectations, told us what obstacles may impact the outcome (e.g. vendor back orders, etc.), then met with us again in his office. He honestly wanted to earn our business, but he had a very laid-back, yet committed, demeanor. Once we decided that the project was a "go," it was like clockwork! Contractors who have obviously worked with Synergy and maintain constant communication, even showed up on Saturdays to get the job done on time - and done right! These are picky people! They wanted the basement to look as good as we did - or better than we really dreamed it could look! I wish I had more space to tell you how great this experience was! HIRE THESE GUYS!

THEY CAME OUT AND TOOK MEASUREMENTS. LATER MET WITH THEM AT THEIR OFFICE. DID NOT RECEIVE A PROPOSAL FOR A MONTH, AFTER I CALLED THEM. NO FOLLOW UP.
