Stuart Lawn came out to our house and gave us a quote for a patio and drain in the back yard. We accepted the quote and a contract was signed by the Company on 5/31/2017 that clearly states: "TIME OF COMPLETION: The work to be performed under this Agreement shall be commenced on or before TBD and shall be substantially completed before TBD No Later Than July 10th. " We gave them a check for half the cost of the contract price. Today's date is August 9, 2017 and after repeated attempts to get the company over to the house to complete the work, it still has not started. The Company has stated several times there were going to start on a specific date and it has never happened. This has caused a huge issue as this is imperative to ensure proper water drainage in the basement. They have not cashed our check yet, but still have not returned it either. I will have to put a stop-payment on the check and will incur a fee for such. I would NOT use this Company for any services as they do not honor contracts.
Description of Work: We needed a new patio and drain put in at our rental property to ensure proper water drainage.
