Went very well. Robert was very thorough. Took his time and did exactly what he said he would do. Added a few jobs while he was hete and he completed everything.

It went very well! Robert was able to visit the same day I called to look at the job, and he provided a quote a few days later for all repairs. It was reasonably priced and I could tell he knew what he was doing from how he answered my (many) questions. When he arrived to do the repairs he was on time, had all the tools and materials he needed, was very polite, endured my loud dogs very well, and cleaned up after all work. Robert is a hard worker and I would hire him again for similar work in the future!

At first, he was very nice and explained what he was going to do. He made an appointment to do the work. The appointment time came and went and after about 90 minutes, I texted him to see if he was still coming. Several hours later he texted to say things were not going well and he would try to come the next day. Second day...no show and no call or text from him again. I texted again and he never answered. I selected him because he had good reviews, but those don’t always turn out to be accurate in every case. Not a man of his word and he has poor communication.

They did exactly what they said they would do and it came out amazing for us. We were using Silver Hammer Construction to get our house ready for selling and they were professional, timely and reasonably priced to get the worked done. We got numerous compliments from people on how well the house looked after the work Silver Hammer did. If we were staying in the area we would definitely would use them again on projects around the house.

Excellent. I called Bob to fix the bottom of a post on my porch where the wood had started to get rotted. He did such an amazing job that I have called him for additional projects around the house. I have recommended his services to my friends and will definitely continue to call him for any repairs/remodel projects that come up around my house.

We used Silver Hammer Services for several jobs. His employees made some major mistakes (they had to re-do a complete shower tile job, and faulty bathtub plumbing caused a leak through ceiling below). Robert did follow through and made the necessary fixes even though they caused some lengthly delays. There was one exception. We had Robert install a new bathroom door. It started to stick and would not close unless a forceful pull or push was made (therefore it was very loud). We asked him to look at it. He agreed it was sticking and said he would have one of his men take a look and fix it. More than three months later, after numerous texts and verbal assurances he would fix it, nothing had been done. Excuses were given, including staffing problems and a busy schedule. We finally had to hire our own handyman at a cost of $172 to get the door fixed.

I never received a call or email back from my messages I sent. I left a voice mail message also and never got a call back. It’s a shame between used their services in 2017 and were very happy with the results.

Robert is great. His estimate is very detailed. His work does exactly what he says in the estimate. Since I cannot be onsite, Robert would send me pictures showing the progress of the project, which helps a lot. After finishing the first project, he is already in the process of working a few other fixes for me.

Let me be clear, the work that was completed was excellent (painting, backsplash insertion, removal of OTR microwave). But he absconded with random cabinet doors in multiple areas of my house to refinish and has not been unreliable or unresponsive in my requests for either completion of the work or return of the cabinet doors. I have to now reface my entire kitchen because of ONE DOOR which he took to refinish. He made me waste my money. Reliability and responsiveness is an F. Which basically tarnishes the entire review otherwise. He does great work, but if you can't rely on someone to be in your home and take care of your property it is completely moot.

We made an appointment for estimate, but the handyman didn’t show up at all. I sent a follow-up text to the handyman regarding the appointment, but no response as well.

Mike did an excellent job with the installation. He was pleasant and arrived on time. I would definately use their services again.

I tried to install grab bars in my guest bathroom for my dad when he visits. I have ceramic tile and messed up the project. Silver Hammer came in and did the work while fixing my messes. They also fixed a leaky toilet.

I had can lighting installed by a friend and needed the ceiling repaired. Silver Hammer Construction had a deal on Angie’s List, and Robert called me later in the same day to set up an appointment for the very next day. Robert and Henry were punctual, gave me a rundown on what to expect along with an estimated timeframe, and got started right away. The work was done with minimal mess and they took necessary precautions to place plastic on the doorway from the living room to dining room to protect the dining furniture, as well as to cover areas of the living room. I would definitely hire again and will probably need to soon for the next house project!

Great work by Robert . He and his team are true professionals. They do what say and handle challenges like professionals even with a small job. I will hire them again for my future remodeling projects.

Robert and his team were terrific! They had a busy schedule and he still fit us in, got the estimate quickly to us (helps us because it was a unit that's far away from us) worked with our tenant directly for scheduling and got the work done! He even helped give us advice on what to do in the future to help prevent the leak from happening again. Smooth job, clean work and great price. They fixed the problem on outside of our duplex and repaired the ceiling that was falling apart in the bathroom. Any problems I have on my unit Robert will be our go to from now on.
