They did a good job. It was basically and hour's worth of work. During that hour, I had them do a bunch of stuff that I needed to get done. It worked out pretty well.

The experience was fine. They came out for the quote. Then, they showed up to repair it. They were good.

I was pleased, but found the price higher than I expected

Rip Off Alert: The owner of this company, Bob Steinmetz, is a salesman, not a contractor. He cannot and will not resolve problems that occur as a result of the poor craftsmanship of his contractors. We hired AOC to build a shower. After it was done and I signed the invoice (big mistake), we discovered it leaked, it was constructed of inferior products, the shower valve was installed upside down, our new shower pan is scratched and gouged, the shower door is installed crooked, we have no hot water, very little water pressure, and many other issues. We referred to their contract guarantee, however they were not skilled enough to make the necessary repairs and corrections after more than 3 months so we released them of their contract obligation and attempted to negotiate a partial refund as stated in their guarantee. But they refused. Their efforts to "fix the problem" included trying to cover up the leak, offering to stand in the shower with an umbrella, and spending hours staring at the shower scratching their heads. We used three of their contractors, Craig (the original contractor who regularly spoke of personal problems), Dan (the cover-up guru), and Steve, who admitted to having to consistently do repairs after the shoddy work of his co-workers. The owner, Bob Steinmetz, refuses to pay the $5,000 deductible to use his commercial liability insurance and admitted to not wanting to "sink any money into [the repair]." We attempted to use the BBB to resolve the problem and even during this process, Bob Steinmetz dragged it out by waiting until the response deadline dates before submitting every rebuttal. So, after seven months, we are out $5,000 with no chance to recover it in court because of the contract's binding arbitration clause, which we would likely lose because of contractor/arbitrator camaradarie. And, after inspections by three NARI recommended contractors, we are told we need to tear out the shower and start all over. This experience has been a nightmare and I would never recommend Andy on Call to anyone, for any reason.

It turned out very well. We were very satisfied with their work, and I would definitely use them again.

He was very polite and very helpful. We knew what it was going to cost, and he answered all of our questions thoroughly. He helped us secure a part that was not readily available, and assisted us in finding an economical solution. We were very happy we would use him again.

They did a good job. I do not remember any details of the experience, but it met my needs. They responded quickly and followed through on what they said.

They were great. They did a nice job and I was very pleased with what they did. The price was good.

I tried to do this job by myself, but couldn't get the old cartridge out. It looked very old and corroded, so I thought we might have to replace the whole faucet. Craig came in, and within 15-20 minutes had the old cartridge out and the new one installed.

I was told that I'd be called back with an estimate for the work I needed done. Nobody ever called back. I guess they don't need any more business. I went with a handyman instead - I'll submit a report on them once the work is complete.

Very much satisfied. The service provider, Larry, walked us through what he would do when he came to give us an estimate. He advised us what materials would be needed and out options. The work turned out great. He was very conscientious and did not make a big mess while creating holes in drywall, etc. The estimate we got from them was much lower than another electrician.

Returned my call quickly and offered a great price.

I would have to say this is the worst experience with a contractor I've had. The guy from Andy OnCall quoted the job for $600. When he arrived for the job and we told him we had a $40 coupon from their flyer, he said he forgot to mention the charge for materials (nails, drywall tape, mud and a small piece of drywall), so the total charge would be $600 even with the coupon. He also gouged the trim around one doorway in three places and denied doing it. His installation of the molding was sloppy. (I had to nail it down in a few places to close gaps between the molding and wall). Finally, he was probably the messiest tradesperson I've encountered. He borrowed our vacuum and made a cursory pass over the floor of the room he worked on to clean up. He left dust everywhere, nails and several globs of drywall mud on the floor, and powder from the mud mix on our kitchen counter and on dishes in the sink drainer. I wouldn't even think about using this company again.
