Description of Work: We had the TruGreen rep here to assess our yard, and then we had the Turfman rep. Based on how each was rated in your service and also on what we heard from each of the reps for these competitors, we chose Turfman. Their first treat is expected tomorrow. I will be glad to rate their performance in a month or two after we have had some experience with them.

Description of Work: I have been using Trugreen for the past 3 years. Trugreen had been contracted to battle heavy weed growth which almost killed my lawn. Trugreen came out and inspected my lawn and were able to saved it. Just re-signed a new contract for 2015.

Description of Work: Horrible communications. When service was provided I thought they were good but they have issues within their office and issues communicating with the customer. I had the lawn service and spraying of a few trees. Much conflicting information about spraying edible fruit trees. Told me used same ingredients as orchard but after looking at the list of ingredients found one that should not be used on edible fruit so none of my apples could be eaten. When you call them it rarely goes to the local office and it was a nightmare trying to get in touch with someone from the local office, even after leaving specific messages and notes online.

Description of Work: TruGreen provided lawn service for me for four years. The front lawn went from a mud field to a thick green lawn. Half of the back lawn went from weed field to full lawn. But the other half, with lots of shade, never grew, and when I asked the serviceman what could be done, he had no idea.

Description of Work: True Green came out several times during the growing season to add fertilizer & weed control. The price above was per application | |I had them for many years to control thistle, dandelions and other weeds. They came out as scheduled & did their job. When I did see the tech, he would be very friendly & knowledgeable. Explained what needed to be done & he would recommend other treatments. I stopped using them, not because they did anything wrong, wanted to go a different route.

Description of Work: I have the complete care package. So far, so good. Lawn was pretty weedy, it's slowly coming back. Tech says I'll really notice the difference after the complete year of service.

Description of Work: Hired for lawn care, and tree & shrub treatments for several years. In 2013, they missed the tree treatment by a good month, and blamed billing issues. These issues continued throughout the year, despite having pre-paid for the entire year of services. At the end of the year, we were submitted to a collection agency for an amount we were never billed for, and an amount we never owed (everything was pre-paid). Ten calls later, and we continue to be unsatisfied with them as a company. They have failed to fully resolve the collection agency problem. | |All services were cancelled. But despite this, they still tried to come out twice more in 2014! This company just can't get the hint that they screwed up badly. | |The people that come out to treat your yard are good, professional people. However, the office people are dreadfully incompetent.

Description of Work: Branch # 5749. This group are total frauds. I attempted to arrange for a technician to arrive at the property to treat lawn. Each time I called, I was told "in a few days or next week for sure". The case was supposedly escalated to the regional field manager who never bothered to call. I finally received an automated voice mail confirming that a technician would be on site on 6/6/2013 at 8:30 am. They never bothered to show up, but they updated their system to show that the technician did the contracted work. I say FRAUDS because, I was physically at the property that day, at that time. No technician. Furthermore, the 'ghost' technician did not leave the required evidence of service, by company protocol is: a RECEIPT and yard markers for pet safety purposes. Even after I called the cancel service, for having to wait 4 weeks for an appointment, they actually invoiced me for services NOT rendered.

Description of Work: My complaint is the number of calls for me to use their service. I had them two years ago, signed up for a season, and cancelled to go with another company in 2012. Their service was okay. This year, True Green has called eight times since February 19. Some times when I answer, they disconnect without a word. When I have actually spoken to someone at True Green, I have asked them to take me off their list twice already, and when I want their service, I will contact them. Apparently, they don't update their call database very often. This is very annoying, and it uses my cell phone minutes. Please take me off your call list, and I will consider the matter resolved. Thank you.

Description of Work: We used true green for years. They did a great job with the lawn treatments, then this year we decided to have them airrant our lawn. Since we have pets we asked them to call before they came out and I wanted to be home. Came home one day and they are done the front lawn only going down about an inch only. Called asked them to come a redo the front and do the back yard and again, asked them to call before they came out. Two weeks no response but I get the bill. Call again, they came out again without call and did the back yard again only going down about 1 inch. Called back so many times I lost count, because the bill kept coming but the service was not done correctly. I finally got a call back from the manager saying they would come out again. I said no and that I was not going to pay the bill. At this point after so many calls I decided to drop them entirely. So they lost our yearly service agreement because of their lack of customer service.

Description of Work: This company has become a nuisance. They seem to come every week and find something else to do. I called and tried to cancel the entire service and it was a very frustrating experience. They do not listen to what the customer wants. After I successfully canceled their service they started calling me again and so I accepted the lawn service but only the lawn service. Since then I have received 2 phone calls badgering me about continuing the tree service. I called the company back and asked to speak to a manager ands the person who answered the phone said she could handle the problem. When I asked to speak to a manager again she said she could handle the problem. Because sdhe would not connect to a manager or maybe there is not such thing as a manager, I just hung up. It seems that they are unresponsive to the customer and just want to sell their overpriced service. My lawn and my trees look no better or no worse than anyone else's on my block.

Description of Work: Professional and punctual. Service has definitely helped. I pay one fee for 4-5 treatments scheduled through out the season along with spring prep (aeration).

Description of Work: Yes their product worked and the yard looked good. But so did the neighbors yard look good that was done for a lot less money.Encourage people to look around.

Description of Work: They were suppose to come out to start the yearly Fertilization program on 3/23/12 as promised. On March 23, 2012, no one showed up to my home to start the service. I didn't receive a call from the company either to let me know why no one showed up for the scheduled appointment. I had to contact the company to try and find out why no one showed? No one in the office could account for the on show service appointment or give me any concrete information about the appointment. After receiving a call from the Senior Service Manager later that day and being very very dissatified, I canceled the service with them and hung up the telephone!
