Follow up was required to install humidifier and add full filter system. But, that was done ASAP and with little hassle.

Description of Work: The service was provided as detailed. My furnace broke with the inside fan in 45 days after this service. I had to call Shavitz and get it fixed. In the end the whole thing costed me close to 700 with heat out for approx 12 hours. | |I think one should buy those silver and platinum contracts and make sure they come out for maintenance every year. Seriously HVAC is a big expense if something breaks.

Description of Work: I am extremely dissapointed with one hour heating and air conditioning. I purchased this furnance service deal and contacted the company rigth after to make sure that they did service my area since the location was in chicago. They emailed back that they did service my location. We booked the service date for 2/8/2015. I drove to our scheduled location and waited for them. I received a call after waiting for an hour asking me to confirm my address. They stated they could not find my location and had the wrong address. Then 10 minutes later they call back and say that the address is out of their servicing area. I told them that I have email confirmation that they said they would come to this location. They repeated that they don't service my location and there is nothing they can do and to contact angies list for a refund.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List coupon for a furnace inspection/cleaning, and then I also paid for a humidifier cleaning. Don cleaned the furnace, checked out and cleaned humidifier, made recommendations. He was very informed, helpful, friendly and professional.

Description of Work: One Hour came out to find out why our furnace quit - we were on vacation and they came out promptly on a Saturday to inspect the furnace. Unfortunately, it was too costly to repair but we met with someone on Monday to choose a new furnace and it was installed Tuesday night. They were professional, helpful and considerate and helped us in every way possible - especially with the installation which was the third one of the day for the installers and they didn't finish until after midnight. But we finally had heat after 4 days and it was so much appreciated. I would certainly recommend One Hour to anyone who needs heating or air conditioning service.

Description of Work: General furnace inspection with lots of explaining of how the system works and what might be needed in the future

Description of Work: Technician arrived on time and inspected/cleaned the furnace as requested. He then presented a very professionally crafted laptop presentation on why I needed to replace the furnace condenser (rating the furnace at 50%) and how much I could save on service calls in the future by enrolling in their all-hazards HVAC service program for a fixed monthly rate. That makes me less interested in having them return.
