I bought a big deal for this service and it turned out alright. They wanted some extra work done that we just declined at the time. The best thing about it was their ease of scheduling. I don't think I would purchase it again. I don't know what they really did. It was not exceptional, whatever they did. There is no noticeable difference.

It was alright. I ended up paying $200 more because of a part replacement. It's a little bit overpriced to me.

He arrived as expected, proceeded to look over both of my units, the fan, blower etc. then checked the freon levels and electric, cleaned both units, made recommendations for future, etc. Very thorough.

Jimmy, the service tech on 7/16, was prompt, professional, and friendly. He explained what he was doing, and he discovered the source of the leak: two large blocks of ice inside the unit. Said blocks of ice, though, prevented him from checking anything else, so he scheduled another visit the following day on the spot. The next day, 7/17, Jeff came out, and was similarly prompt, professional, and friendly. He looked at the condenser unit outside, and suspected a refrigerant leak. He priced the search for the leak fairly, given how easy it was to find. The bad news is that it requires a replacement of the coil - this work is scheduled and so can't comment on how that went. He was upfront about the pricing and time, including deducting the $397 paid this day (for 3 lb refill of the refrigerant to get us through a few days and for the leak search) from the eventual total cost of the coil replacement ($1510). Though the news is disappointing (the condenser is only five years old), and the price unplanned for, it's certainly not the fault of the company. I'm glad they diagnosed the issue promptly. Nate and Rose, behind the scenes (so to speak), were pleasantly proactive in getting me scheduled for an initial earlier slot, calling to see if I wanted to take slots opened by cancellations. This in itself saved us from getting through this weekend without a particularly efficient AC.

They were very thorough in their check of the a/c unit. In addition, I asked them to check my second floor bedroom as the vents didn't seem to be working. He spent extra effort on trying to solve this! I am very pleased as he was able to increase air flow in that room.

My air conditioner was blowing hot air, not cooling at all. I made contact via Angies List via email. Response was a bit slow, took 4 days for response but that included the weekend. I requested a service call to fix the issue. But upon evaluation, the servicer said the fix may not work long term. Unit was 17 yrs old so decided to have it replaced.

From the call for service to the service call and repair the communication was outstanding and open. Mike and Tim (the field techs), were very polite, courteous, and timely. Very happy with the service and would use again.

The technician was very thorough in his inspection of the A/C unit. Turns out it was in great shape and gave us great peace of mind.

Great company. The technician was very thorough in his inspection of our furnace. We just moved into the home that summer, and we knew the furnace was very old and wanted to make sure it was OK for the winter. He found a crack in the heat exchanger and said that he did not recommend continued use of the furnace because it is a potential safety hazard. He turned off the furnace because he legally could not leave it on before leaving the house. I am glad he found the problem because we have a homeowner's warranty and we were able to get the furnace replaced with a new one.

Whole service looked very professional. Both technician and other guy who did estimate were very nice BUT there is one HUGE issue. They wanted me to install new condenser for $4500!!! They both confirmed that problem is with old compressor. Independent A/C specialist just left my place. He added R22, charged $220 and cooling works just awesome. He showed me that low-side pressure was 35 PSI when it should be about 80-85. How they didn't find it?

While they did a thorough job of inspecting and suggested I make a number of repairs including replacing the furnace, my furnace stopped working. I had another company come out, and while they agreed it doesn't have many years left in it, they quoted me a much better replacement furnace cost, and they suggested I change the filter to fix the broken furnace issue and it worked.

It was fine. They did what they came out to do.

I recently purchased a home and wanted to get my furnace cleaned and inspected. The inspection part was important to me because I knew going into the home that the furnace was a bit older. The cleaning and inspection went rather quick, within an hour he was completed and had a list of recommendations sorted from higher priority to lower. In the end, i didn't go with any of the recommendations due to the cost and the age of my furnace, but appreciated the knowledge shared.

Provider did work well and was honest. Provided good feedback and will look to work with provider in the future.

They did a very professional job and made what appeared to be genuine recommendations for maintenance/repair items. Only concern I had was the price of the repair. I found through my own research that the replacement part (capacitor) was about $15 and the time to replace was less than 3 minutes of work. However, their cost to replace that item was a fixed cost of over $200. I made the repair myself.

Mike J. came out to service my furnace and air conditioner. Very professional, very knowledgeable about my furnace and made some great recommendations that I plan on following up on. I was so impressed that I will be utilizing them for my rental property work.

Everything went smoothly. The office did contact me; we had no trouble scheduling within my preferred window; I received a reminder call; the technician came as promised. The technician was polite, friendly, answered questions and seemed thorough (much as I can tell as a mere homeowner).

When I contacted them to schedule the service the rep on the phone was very nice and friendly. I explained the situation which was that we upgrade thermostats and needed an extra wire conversion setup. In the process of working with the thermostat vendor we found the cabling was goofed with the AC and that's why we needed them to take a look. She notified me there'd be a normal service call fee of $109 to which I said OK. After the tech arrived the first thing he did after I explained the situation was try to sell me their smart thermostat (which was overpriced). I told him no thank you and that I'd like to have the one I installed simply working with the proper wiring. He then told me that these things never work right and he'd really rather install the one he had because it would save me so much money. I explained again that I think the wiring to the AC is simply not quite right and I don't want to adjust it wrong and would just like him to clean that up to which he reluctantly agreed to go downstairs and have a look. As suspected the thermostat folks had me jump a few wires which blew the transformer. The tech pulled out a price list and informed me it would be $204 to change the transformer which was a $7 part from Home Depot and took him 10 minutes. That was in addition to the $109 fee to simply look at the issue. He then explained that yes the wiring wasn't quite right and that he'd have to pull new wires which would be something like $350 according to his sheet and that I'd be better off going with his thermostat. I explained to him that all these thermostats have add-a-wire adapters to address this and that I think the AC wiring just needs to be changed to go direct instead of jumpered like it was. He begrudgingly agreed to make the change and, surprise, it worked just fine. He then looked over everything else and cleaned out the AC unit outside per the $53 deal I had already bought on AL. At completion he did explain everything that was done but tried to say he did more than he actually did to address the issue. In the end I was almost there on my own but paid $313 for blowing the transformer and a good amount of time trying to be sold stuff I didn't need or want.

It is working just fine. They did a good job. I would use them again.

Service time was between 3 and 4 hours long. Mike Jones seemed to do a thorough and conscientious job. He often explained what he was doing and why.
