Alex responded quickly to my inquiry and I even emailed him a photo of our dresser to see if he could do the job. He gave me a quote via email and we scheduled the job within a few days. We are very pleased with his work (and his assistant) and will definitely hire them again for future projects! The cost was $150 for labor plus paint/supplies.

Z&Z WAS EXTREMELY professional and friendly. I was thrilled with the punctuality, talent and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve perfection. I couldn't be happier and my husband was thrilled to have it completed in one day with nothing left for him to do!

From the beginning Andy was extremely responsive answering my many emails within the hour. The same day I purchased the voucher, Andy contacted me via email and made an appointment to look over the project and actually scheduled the job for the very same week. On the day of our first meeting Andy was able to get the paint chip and tell me how much the painter would be able to accomplish within the time frame specified on the "big deal". On the actual day the painting was scheduled Andy and a painter were at my house promptly at 8:00 and they prepped the area. The painter was able to finish a little quicker and I was asked where else I wanted work done. The work was very clean, the worker efficient, friendly and quick. I'm a happy customer and plan to use Z&Z Painting and Restoration Inc. again!

Very timely response to set up an appointment. Respectful of our home, furniture and pets. Prior to hiring them, I had tried to spackle some holes myself, and it was a disaster. When Z&Z was done the walls were perfectly smooth and you can't tell where the holes were previously. The painter worked carefully and did a beautiful job. We used 3 different colors in the room (which cost a bit more) and each color was exactly where we requested it. Friendly, competent responsive service exactly as we had hoped.

Alex and his crew did a fantastic job. They were professional and the painting is exceptional. I would use them again.

Alex showed up early and was very considerate and professional. He and his painter, Israel, removed their shoes before entering my house and put down their own tarp to protect my floors as they offloaded their equipment from their vehicle. Israel got to work immediately and helped me shuffle around the furniture to the middle of the room before getting setup and starting on the patchwork that takes place before the painting begins. He went above and beyond and patched and caulked every minor and major dent and ding, lots that I'd never even noticed. As he got to work on the painting he tolerated my frequent check ins with true professionalism and often asked me to check it out to ensure that all was well. The job was completed quicker than I expected and the quality of the workmanship was impeccable. In short, I would recommend Z&Z Painting to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They contacted us immediately (through Angie's list), got a description of the job, and scheduled the visit. Showed up at 7:58 for the 8:00 job, fully equipped (we provided paint). Spent the better part of the day repairing the cracks (this was not explicitly part of the Big Deal; if there were a higher rating than "A" for "price, they'd certainly get it!) and putting on 2 coats of paint. Absolutely beautiful work, especially the detail work! The painter was also careful to clean up after the job (sweeping, Shop Vac). We've asked them to provide estimates for other work, including indoor woodwork and an outdoor porch. Alex again showed up exactly on time (despite a prior phone message -- which we received too late to respond to -- asking to reschedule the job to later in the day; he arranged his schedule to honor the initial commitment), reviewed the work carefully, discussed the complexities (doors and moldings, 100+ year old house last painted about 7 years ago, oil-based paint -- job entails prepping for newer non-oil-based materials as well as repairs), and has provided a detailed estimate, broken down into component parts. So far, they've been marvellously responsive, knowledgeable, and professional, and we are very happy with the work done to date.

Great service as usual. This is the second time i had Z&Z Painting paint my house. We needed first floor of my house repainted after we had some remodeling done. Alex showed up on time at 8 am with two of his painters and got to work right away. They were extremely neat and professional, taking great care protecting our floors and furniture. We were not sure about some of the colors that we selected, Alex offered himself to help. With his help we were able finalize our color selection within couple of hours. The end result was excellent. Will definitely hire again and recommend to all my friends.

Alex, Pepe & Benjamin were extremely professional and cordial. Alex assisted us with paint choices for our very first home. After seeing the finished product, we couldn't be happier with their work. All work was performed quickly, yet no detail was overlooked. I would gladly use them again in the future, and recommend them for all your painting needs.

Alex and Ben arrived on time, but Ben did 99% of the work as Alex left soon after. Ben was very professional, lines are perfectly straight, patch jobs incredible, clean up impeccable.

Excellent service! Repaired drywall cracks on high ceilings and painted. Took great care to protect my possessions. One area didn't look quite right to me. Alex responded within minutes and was out within the hour. No hassle. He made sure I was happy & satisfied. Have called him for several projects. Do take his recomendations for paint though. I didn't and was not happy with the brand I purchased.

This was the second time in a month that I asked Z&Z Painting to perform some work for us on a very tight and inconvenient time frame. We could not have been more pleased. Alex and Benjamin showed up right on time. Very courteous about making sure they didn't bring in snow from outside. I walked them through the room and then Alex spent time with Benjamin prior to leaving for another appointment. Benjamin sealed the room very well and protected the furniture in it as well. He was here from 8 to 3 and did a great job. Alex came back to inspect and also touched base throughout the day with Benjamin too. I would use again! Clean, thorough, professional.

Alex showed up to give me an estimate and said Ben was available later that day to start. Ben showed up and put on the primer and the first coat of paint. He showed up again the next day to put on the second coat of paint. Alex arrived the third day to do the edges as the outside temp was freezing the paint as it went on the day before (window needed to be open for the edges). Alex and Ben could not have been more pleasant and careful of my home. I will use them again without question. Highly recommend Z & Z Painting.

I called Alex on Friday morning, he came over to give an estimate Friday afternoon, and had someone out at 8:15 Saturday morning. The work was completed by about 1:00 Saturday afternoon. Alex and his colleague were extremely professional, and the work was very well done. The work simply could not have gone better. We definitely will be hiring them again.

The painting project went excellently from start to finish - extremely professional and responsive team. Worked meticulously with great care and attention to detail on a historic home with lots of trim detail. the project took a little longer than anticipated due to unexpected weather conditions, but team worked tirelessly through cold weather to finish the job. Cheerful and helpful, the team worked to ensure that home owners were aware of every detail before taking any action. One of the best home improvement projects we have experienced and would recommend this team without reservation for any future projects.

The project started as scheduled and Alex, the owner of the company, showed up with his crew on time and ready to start. The guys were very professional from the start and they made sure everything was covered and protected from paint and dust. My main concern was stress cracks because I have had them repaired many times before by different companies. The cracks would be fine for a few weeks and then eventually come back. Alex ensured me that if that if they do come back he would repair them free of charge. The guys really dug pretty deep into the wall to get them fixed. It has been over a month now and I have seen no signs of cracks! Alex also spent a lot of time helping me pick out the right color and he didn't hesitate to get more paint samples when needed. All the paint lines are razor sharp and the walls are free of blemishes (there were plenty before) and in my house there are a lot of areas that are pretty difficult to get to. I am very pleased at how Z&Z Painting handled the entire project. The guys were cleaning and vacuuming every day to make sure dust wouldn't spread throughout the house. They kept everything really organized and kept us well informed about any issues and the overall progress. I was hesitant to use Z&Z Painting at first due to lack of reviews. Alex explained they recently joined Angie's List to expand his business and reach new customers, although they have always had a loyal customer base. I would definitely use Z&Z Painting and Restoration Inc. again and recommend them to my friends and family.

I had the guys from Z&Z do some major work on my house. I had my house repainted few years ago, but all the paint was flaking off. Alex spotted the problem (previous painters didn't prime the wood properly), so he noted it would be better to prime everything.They pressure washed,scraped, caulked and primed and finished it with 2 coats of stain . My house looks brand new, almost drove past it couple times. Also, I needed an update on the interior. Had the guys put some fresh coats of paint in my bedroom as well as basement, they were fast, clean and professional! Did not leave a mess and were fast!!! It seemed like they would have needed to work for weeks patching and evening out the walls but they were fast without missing a spot, to top it all off I got a 2 year warranty.Alex didn't have the cheapest estimate (by around $100), but it was obvious he knew what he was talking about, plus i was glad the work was covered by warranty . I will definately recommend Z&Z Painting to my friends.
