I had been thinking about getting my space repainted for quite some time. After I purchased the deal on Angie's List, I was able to set up service for the next week. I had some back and forth with questions about how long the job would take and how much paint I needed to buy. All questions were answered promptly. I received a call 24 hours prior to confirm the appt. and see if I had any last minute questions. Two guys arrived promptly on the day I scheduled and got right to work. They worked fast and did a great job. I had two guys for 8 hours and they painted my entire space (two coats) in about 6.5 hours. They then took the extra time to help me put some furniture back in place. Fantastic experience overall. Highly recommended!!

Painters did an excellent job but needed more time than expected, and then I was mislead on the additional cost. Ended up paying more than expected.

They were quick to respond. They were just a bit slow due to lack of workmanship, but they did a fabulous job.

They said we were out of their service area, so I should seek a refund from Angie's List.

Z & Z was very prompt in scheduling my appointment. The work done was very professional. I was also impressed that the workers were able to get more painting done than I had originally planned for the time frame allotted in the deal.

It went wonderfully. Aleks checked in and set the job up and the work was completely in a timely and efficient manner.

They were very neat and tidy and performed the painting/staining at a very high level. We are extremely happy with the work and will use ZANDZ for our next paint job.

Everyone was very easy to work with on this job. I scheduled an appointment on a Monday for them to come out and paint two rooms on that Friday. Everything at the house looks great!

The work looks very good, done that day and we also asked for an estimate for possible future work in the house.

Alex, the owner, called me the evening before to confirm the work and the man he was sending, and the next morning Israel, the painter, showed up exactly at 8:00am, as promised, and began the work. I walked him through all that areas for him to "inspect" and get working on, and he worked away until 5:00pm virtually non-stop getting all of the areas that needed addressing. Alex showed up an hour or so after Israel arrived to make sure everything was all set, and he quoted exactly the price I was hoping for. It was a great deal at $200 given it was trim paint in one color and walls in another, plus they did the patching and clean-up work like pros. Israel was very easy to work with, again, and did a top-notch job. I would highly recommend Z&Z for quality and pricing.

I was very impressed with their service. They were very accomodating to my schedule. The owner and his assistant were great to work with. Their professionlism and quality were very high. They were very fast to get the job done. He even worked with me to get a discount on the paint.

These guys are GREAT! I am a landlord and my basement tenant emailed me a picture of the bathroom ceiling. It looked like the paint started peeling in one area. I contacted Z&Z and they got back right away with a rough estimate of how much it would cost. When the painter showed up on Saturday, we realized it was worse than we first thought. After peeling back the paint, there was a hole in the ceiling. He sanded it down, and then came back the next day (to make sure it was dried out) to repair it. Then he waited another day to make sure the repair was strong enough to be painted over. This also gave me time to get a plumber in to fix the minor leak from upstairs. I can't tell how awesome these guys are. They took their time to make sure they did the job the right way, and that's exactly what I want to see. They were also extremely courteous of my timetable and that of the tenants as well. I would HIGHLY recommend making these guys your new go-to painters. They are well worth it.

Perfect from start to finish! The owner made sure his painter was all set up and we were all clear on what needed to be done. Then, the painter quickly did his job. He was very tidy and cleaned up the sink where he cleaned his rollers. Very precise and thorough!

I had them paint the ceilings after a previous company had done a terrible job painting. Great work in fixing the ceiling and painting. The ceilings look awesome. Showed up on time,work performed in a timely manor and reasonable price. I will definitely use again.

Alex was prompt, courteous, and professional. The painter was careful, didn't make a mess, cleaned up very nicely, and did a very good job. We would highly recommend them.

I was pleased. Alex was responsive to emails from the beginning. Alex arrived with Benjamin (painter) a few minutes early. Alex and I discussed what would be painted and a $40 extra charge for fixing 2 longer cracks which were not covered in the deal. My "one room" was ambiguous and since Alex was generous in that definition I did not have a problem agreeing to the extra charge for repairing the cracks. Alex then left and Benjamin got right to work moving things and covering them. For the few minutes I was there Benjamin seemed to work efficiently. I can't say more about how he worked as I wasn't present, but I was pleased with the finished product. The only negative was that I needed to re-wipe the floor in some areas after he left. It seemed like perhaps he had not rinsed the cloth out often enough when doing the final wipe down so there was just a little residue. I would definitely recommend trying this company out for one of their deals. I gave an A for price of the deal although I don't know what their regular pricing is like so I cannot comment on that. Note: I think that Alex considers 300 sf. to be wall space not room dimensions so it would be good to check this out if you have a larger room and are doing the "one room" deal.

We had some cracks in the walls that needed repair/repainting. Alex was very responsive and his painter Ben worked hard and did a good job. We had a little trouble matching one of the paints, which is understandable but we did have to schedule a follow up to get that taken care of. Overall, they were professional and responsive, so I'd recommend them.

Alex showed up with Ben to start the job right on the clock as promised. He left Ben to provide the removal of wallpaper for the rest of the day. i had signed up for a $99 special to paint one room. He only charged $200 to remove the old paper off the walls, which actually took longer than the paint job which was started at 8AM the following day. Ben worked non-stop throughout the progress of this project and the work was done professionally and with absolutely no mess. Everything was back in its place and I had a brand new powder room by 1PM the following day. I absolutely recommend Z & Z and will probably call on them to do outside work on our home.

Bought the Big Deal for 400 sf of area to be painted for $149. Great price, and given all of the positive reviews, we figured we'd have them do the full job we neded and trust they would fairly price the extra work (usually a risky move...). From beginning to end, Alex was phenomenal with communication. It was only a $300 job total and he treated it like it was the most important job on his list - he even drove out an hour to our place on the day of the work to make sure everything worked out well with his painter, not to mention that we needed the work done in a rush so he pulled a painter off another job to take care of us. Talk about customer seervice! Israel the painter showed upon time and worked REAL hard for pretty much 10 hours straight and did a great job. I occasionally stuck my nose in to make requests and he was so nice about accommodating. We just had our wood floors re-done so he was also very sensitive to making sure to limit paint splatter on the floor and scrobbed the areas with splatter really well to remove them once the painting was finished. I would recommend Z&Z very highly. Hard working, trustworthy and nice folks. Couldn't ask for more.

Found Alex here on Angie's list. We were looking to have our master bedroom repainted, our 1/2 bath painted and the old exhaust fan/light replaced with a new semi- flushed fixture which required the ceiling to be patched and painted. I emailed Alex and he responded in a timely manner. We set up a time for him to come check what we needed done. We scheduled the work for a couple weeks later. Alex and his guy come on time and got the job done in the timeline that was discussed and for the pice that was discussed even though removing the exhaust fan proved more difficult then I think Alex anticipated. They were great and I'm planning on using them again in the future.

The owner contacted me promptly. He communicated very well. He was on time, and his worker was also prompt, professional and respectful. The work looked really good. I would definitely recommend and hire again

Everything was FANTASTIC! The owner and I emailed a few times and then he came with his painter to check what was being painted. He explained everything and even took the time to assess another future job to give me a quote (which he sent within days). His painter (can't recall his name anymore) was so professional and nice. He let me know when he was going to lunch, asked where he could rinse some brushes etc. He did a great job and the room looks beautiful.
