Description of Work: I purchased the services for painting from this company through Angie's List. No one from the company has contacted me so far. I received a phone call from Angie's list to provide a feedback on the work. I told the person that I never received the service, and I was not even contacted. The Angie's List rep told me that the painting company will be contacted. I have never heard from the company or Angie's List after that. | |Angie's List asks for evaluation of its service providers. First, It should evaluate itself. I told Angie's List that I did not receive the service and no one called me. Angie's List did not even bother to contact the company or me. So, should I evaluate Angie's List also? Please see my evaluation below. | |I am putting the approximate date of last contact from Angie's List. This may not be the exact date. | |This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened. A similar thing happened about furnace cleaning service. I got my money back after about one year. | |My conclusion: |Both Angie's List and ZandZ painting are fraud. Not only I want my money back, I want an apology from Angie's List. | | |

Description of Work: Z and Z painted 2 coats on my basement ceiling and primed the walls in 8 hours, I was very pleased with the work done and will hire them again for my next project.

Description of Work: The Big Deal was for painter for a day. Z&Z painting did a terrific job on the pergola on the back of my house. It was in pretty sad shape. They power washed all the wood, scraped any loose paint, then painted it. It looks great! I'll be happy to use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs some painting done.

Description of Work: Great Price for the service. They did a 1.5 day job in one long day. Ceiling needed a 2nd coat, they left roller marks (I should have purchased extra paint). Lots of spills and paint on things (woodwork, blinds, lampshades, etc.) that were not cleaned up. | |The straight lines were the best I have ever seen. Looks like a laser perfect paint job on the walls and the corner edge with the ceiling. These were AWESOME !!!! | |If you need a room that is painted quickly and cheaply - these guys are for you. If you need a showplace that you want to show off, invest in extra time and paint to add to the project (I did not provide enough paint apparently). Add a cleaning crew as well.

Description of Work: Painted 2 rooms. Painter was excellent and did a tremendous job. Only complaint was that I was not aware of the 8 hour limit for $199. I thought it was 2 rooms for $199 no matter how long. I cleared out the rooms which enabled the painter to get the 2 rooms done in 8 hours. Otherwise I would have been charged extra for each additional hour.

Description of Work: They painted my rental unit. The price was very reasonable and they did a great job. The painter was neat and cleaned after himself as well. No complaints from me!

Description of Work: I was moving out of an apartment that I painted when I moved in. I needed the apartment to be re-painted white. There were also two rooms that needed to be sanded before being painted because of thick, glittery paint my kids put on the walls. Some trim work also needed to be done. Z and Z Painting promptly responded to my call, came to give me an estimate and then started the work. I changed the work date because of my schedule and Z and Z Painting was very accommodating. The work was finished on time and turned out even better than I expected. The landlord is very picky about how her building looks and is persnickety about the walls and trim. She was very pleased with the work that Z and Z Painting did. I was worried that the landlord would not be happy with any work done however Z and Z Painting did such a great job she was very pleased and happy as was I. I will use this company again when I need painting or wood work in the future.
