From measurement and consultation to installation, crew was helpful, efficient, considerate. And the counters are wonderful!

HORRIBLY!!! Things started off pretty well -- New Stone was responsive and came out the next day after I called them for the consult. While the man, Greg, was here, he had me pick out the granite color and asked if I was keeping my faucet or wanted a new one. I said I wanted to keep my old one. He just nodded and wrote that down. Then he told me he could give me a better deal than the Angie's List one since my countertop was small. Of course, I decided to go with this otion --- BIG MISTAKE!!! So, they came to install it the next week and everything seems to go smoothly. So I go upstairs before they leave and I see a countertop but no faucet. I ask the installer what happened to the faucet and they tell me they don't do plumbing. I'm dumbstruck. We have guests arriving on the Monday after the install, which was the Thursday before Labor Day. The man tells me he can recommend someone who can come re-attach the faucet for $170. WHAT A SCAM! At no point during the consultation did Greg tell me that I needed to have a plumber on hand or that they didn't do plumbing work. Since this is for a countertop install and they have to remove a faucet to install it, you think they would re-attach it too. Needless to say I was pretty angry. However, instead of arguing with the man in front of my 3 year old and 3 month old, I decided to have my husband who is pretty handy just fix it over the weekend.. Well I'm pretty sure New Stone installed a bum sink and piece of granite on my vanity. My husband has spent the entire day trying to re-attach the faucet, but the original piping won't reach the faucet with the new thicker granite on it, neither will the plumbing reach with an extender that he purchased during our second trip to Home Depot this morning. Also, the holes in the granite don't match my faucet, the drain doesn't fit in the sink and the drain pipe is too long with the new sink. Overall, the $50 Greg "saved" me by his bait and switch cost me much more in my husband's time (5 hours), parts we had to buy ($30) and also from having to call a plumber ultimately ($149 an hour) plus the parts for the parts that will be purchased by the plumber. Looking back I would never use them again and would not recommend their services to anyone else.

We love our beautiful new counters thanks to New Stone Design. Patience is required if you engage this firm. But I would recommend you consider them as an option if you are replacing or installing counters. I had to initiate every contact with this firm, at no time did they respond or call back uninitiated, even when they said they would. So that aspect did not go well. I was not aware that fumes are a concern with the installation materials used so be aware. It was a very hot day and they had the house open both to bring the granite inside and to allow ventilation. The installers did a good job and worked hard but leaving the front door open the whole time was annoying as it let flies and bugs in. I believe they turned my AC on also. On a very cold winter day this would be a problem. Our sales rep brought samples on a worn sample board but it's difficult to pick this way. So we visited their dusty warehouse on a scorching day (so HOT!) and found a beautiful slab. It's not easy to pick from the many slabs they have on hand, but they are helpful in pulling them out for a better look. With determination we found the perfect one and they broke off a sample for us to take home and evaluate. We were then able to match that to what they installed to verify, which was very helpful. We also picked out a sink when we were there. However our sales rep was not present and the person there did not convey which sink we chose to the sales rep. Fortunately our rep sent a picture of the sink to confirm, which we indicated was the wrong one, and was able to locate the correct one from our description. ADVICE: Take pictures of everything you pick out! We trusted them to get this right and they let us down here too. Regardless of these issues I would still recommend you consider NSD for your granite needs.

I found New Stone Design on Angies List and saw they were rated high. I met Greg at my house and he showed me some samples and my husband and I decided to make the trip out to the shop to get more ideas. We worked with Marta at the shop and found a slab of granite that we really liked. Both Greg and Marta were great to work with and answered our questions. The install went smoothly but my husband and I noticed a couple of minor things we wanted fixed (scratch and two small chips). Greg came out right away and fixed them.

Amazing work!! Greg was so easy to work with and his professionalism was above and beyond. The Counter tops were installed within a week and perfectly done. The crew made certain we were completely satisfied. Their price was the best of 7 estimates I received. Highly recommend!

He came out to meet me to measure countertops. They had samples of the colors available for special offer price 12 colors to chose from wide selection at the special pricing and several different edge choices to chose from. Greg made a recommendation to widen the countertop area which was appreciated. One week later my new granite countertops were installed he even offered to install the faucet if I could have it available as I was getting a new faucet. Counters look fabulous and the price was great too !!!

Two installers arrived on time. Spread dropcloths on the floor. Pulled out the old countertops and drawers on the top so the contents wouldn't get dirty. Cut the granite to fit the sink. Made an adjustment for me where the corner of the counter was sticking out too far. Glued the countertops down and they were done. Worked quickly but did a good job. Very reasonable and professional. Excellent value for the special being offered.

Called service provider, txt him and he promised grates for sinks same day of installation and a contract of service done, ended up paying 1200$ extra on top of Big Deal special from angies List. Service was good until after service was done, did not provide grates for new sinks, gave me the run around, playing phone tag and txt tag to get the items I requested. Service provider is non responsive and will not get back to me to give me my contract of service provided.

I have to say it went great and we were as buyers what some would call a nightmare, due to cabinets taking longer than expected, special order ones taking even longer, and constantly changing measurements and designs they were patient, polite and did a fantastic job. We were not sure how one of the pieces was going to look as they already had cut the piece and we had problems again but when they came out and put them in, it all worked out and looks great. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. Greg the owner got back to us ASAP when we contacted him about changes, the girl in the office was very nice and helped us with our choices, they men who came to install were on time, in fact early which was great, they were fast, efficient, polite, friendly and funny. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND!

New Stone Design is fantastic! We are remodeling our kitchen and could not decide on a particular granite color so I went to Angies list to read reviews. I am so happy we did. I visited the showroom and was greeted warmly by Gregg 's wife who offered suggestions and made wonderful recommendations. I took her advice selecting a beautiful color and Gregg was out to measure that weekend.The time from measurement to installation was very quick and the installers were professional and courteous. Gregg made several great suggestions including racks for the sink (prevents scratches) and a matching granite top for our sideboard in the kitchen, all at no additional charge. When his installer came back to drill a hole for the faucet he even gave me a cute granite cutting board! What a nice touch. I highly recommend New Stone Design not only only for price, (he is very reasonable )but also for the quality. The service is top notch. We plan to remodel our bathroom next and will only call New Stone.

New Stone Design did a great job of following through on the Big Deal that we purchased. Greg came out on time to show us samples at our house and had countertop ready for when I needed it to be installed. They showed up on time and had all work completed in a very short time. They also made sure everything was covered and cleaned before they left.

Went well. Very responsive. Assisted in getting plumber and discount for fixture installation as well. Really nice work.

Requested a refund, since the provider did not followup scheduled home appointment/assessment. A refund was sent by Angie's list staff.

The folks at New Stone Design are wonderful to work with. I was contracted very quickly after purchasing our countertop deal. Our consultant came out and measured our kitchen and provided outstanding ideas to enhance our kitchen space. He suggested we visit their showroom/shop so we could see full scale samples and pick the perfect slab. This was an outstanding suggestion as once we saw a larger sample we made the perfect choice for our kitchen. The installers were real pros, courteous, conscientious , and a pleasure to work with. The end results are amazing! The new countertops left the whole kitchen looking new again! The workmanship was outstanding!

They were very good at responding to all my questions. When I went to pick out the slabs of granite the shop workers were very helpful. The whole job from first contact to measuring cutting and installing only took 2 weeks. I would recommend them to anyone.

New Stone offers quality, speed, and, thanks to an Angie's List Deal, affordability. My original marble bathroom vanity and sink bowl had cracked. New Stone posted a granite Deal, and the day after I paid, Mirak arrived at my home and quickly measured. He also brought a panel of granite samples. Unfortunately, none matched the existing stone. Later, he sent additional photos. I chose. Within two weeks, New Stone installed the new granite top and bowl. They worked neat and quickly. The stone looks natural in my bath, and I'm quite pleased. Also, New Stone offered to bring a plumber during the installation, and for a reasonable charge, have the water reconnected the same day as the installation. I used my own plummer, who complimented the work New Stone had done. I've already recommended New Stone to others.

New Stone Design's staff did a wonderful job! They called very quickly to set up an appointment to measure and brought samples for me to look through. They even offered to let me visit their facility to look at more choices but I was very happy with the choices I was provided. They waited for me to select a new sink and ensured that the countertop would fit into my kitchen complete with my new sink. They arrived early, brought everything they needed, were professional, organized, extremely pleasant and even reassured me when we weren't sure that the countertop would fit in my building's elevator that I should relax and be patient. They made sure that the whole project was completed exactly they way that I wanted it to be. They even cleaned up before they left!!!

Options are limited and arent the best but that is stated upfront. Picked what we thought was the best. Came out nice except for the clear caulk that was used, wish we were given a option before final caulking. Overall pretty good for the price

This was a wonderful experience! They scheduled the time for measuring almost immediately upon receiving notice of my purchase. The custom granite counter with attached sink was installed one week later and looks wonderful! I would hire this company again!

The owner, Greg Munik, came to measure. He made templates and helped us to choose the granite. He stayed true to the "big deal" price for the granite, with an added $250.00 for the sink. He was very cordial, and explained what he was doing and what we should expect. He told us that we could have the counter tops installed the next week, Tuesday January 19. Greg answered all calls and texts that we sent without hesitation. On the day of installation, Greg sent two installers. They were right on time. They were very personable, and professional. They worked hard, and everything was installed within 2-1/2 hours. They are truly skilled. They cleaned up everything, and took the old counter tops, etc. with them. Our kitchen looks absolutely beautiful. It is like a dream come true for me. It's the first time I've had granite counter tops in the almost 50 years we've been married. Greg and his crew made us very happy. Thanks, guys!!!

They were timely. They did a beautiful job and came back to address a few minor issues. The only complaint would be we asked if we needed to remove items from our cupboards to avoid any issue and they said no. After the work was done there was sawdust on some dishes. Not a big deal and definitely not a deal breaker. The countertops are beautiful. They even came out before we purchased the deal to tell us the measurements to know if we would go over the 40 square feet. One thing that's not mentioned is there is additional cost for plumbing to be reinstalled.
