Description of Work: Montway associates were very professional and polite. You can get pricing and good info directly from their web site. They made arrangements for a carrier to transport my vehicle from IL to WA. Vehicle was picked up and delivered on time and in good shape. Realize that Montway is a 'broker' i.e. they charge a fee for making the transportation arrangements with various carriers. They do not actually use their own trucks.

Description of Work: They were positive to work with. As soon as we signed up with this auto hauler`on July 3rd, they got things going. On July 7th, we were contacted that the driver was going to pick it up, and he would be there on the 8th of July, and he did arrive as he said he would.

Description of Work: Transported a car for me from MI to WA. Open transport was used to save about $500 over the enclosed type, and if I do this again, it will be enclosed. Car was really dirty on exterior, but the interior was perfect, due to Montway placing plastic covers on the seats and paper floormats underfoot. Arrived on time as promised, and after I washed the exterior, it felt like it was mine (1997 Saab 900 SE Turbo Talladega) If you transport in the winter months like I did, be ready for the weather and plan accordingly. | |Overall however, I'm satisfied with their service. Communication with their dispatcher and the driver of the truck was great, allowing me to track progress. Would use again.

We are surprised from Mr [member name removed] rating as we believe by the order record the customer was provided with Top Class white glove service and all his requests and guaranteed service dates were met as well as our agents provided the customer with exceptional support. The carrier we chose handled the vehicle with meticulous care and delivered it in pristine condition. After delivery customer was contacted multiple times to gather feedback and ensure everything went just perfect as scheduled, however the customer never responded back. The customer's feedback is also blank as this review, which left us puzzled. We are more than glad to provide additional services and care as needed only if the customer is willing to communicate back so we know if something went wrong and so that we can actually fix all issues. Dear [removed members name], I checked your order and I apologize if you felt the transport was expensive. To sum up the details: - You paid a total of $899. $199 to Montway and $700 to the truck driver. - You transported a 1990 Porsche 944 for which we usually recommend to customers to select an enclosed trailer, however you chose an open trailer which is a lot cheaper. The truck driver was instructed to take extra care for your low riding vehicle, which doubles the labor output of the driver. - The route Brookings, SD 57006 to Wescosville, PA 18106 is not a popular route for auto carrier trucks at all which directly affects the price. Trucks pass that route only once in a while. If we discount the price it will take longer to arrange a truck that would pickup on this route for a lower price. - I also saw all the notes on your order, and there was no indication you had requested a lower price or a competitor price match. If you would have requested that and had plenty of time available to allow us on arranging a truck for a lower price, we would have done that for you! We always work with our customers and try to arrange the shipment according to their requests and affordability. Since you believe we should have discounted your price and to honor your request, even though the request was made after the fact and not directly to us but through online media, I sent you an email with a refund offer for you on 11/15/13 and have not heard back from you at all. We care about our customers and to keep them happy we give up all profit. I hope to hear from you soon, otherwise I will have to accept that you are in fact not interested in achieving a lower price.
