Description of Work: Final Notice? really? I pay for this service and this vendor who I did not solicit is on my reviewable contractors. This is not a bad review of the contractor as much as it is on Angies list and an inability to recognize when a paying customer is not interested in providing a review. how about asking if I even reached out? I didn't. An email titled Final Notice is not acceptable. I will not be renewing my membership.

We inform all customers as well as list it in our terms and conditions that trucker assignment are estimated to occur within 1 to 5 business days of the first day the vehicle is ready for pickup. The first available date given to us was 8/11. A trucker was assigned on 8/15, which was on the 2nd business day. It is never our intent to inconvenience our customers, which is why we go above and beyond to be 100% transparent with our terms of service. We are truly sorry to have lost your business. Description of Work: I hired them to transport my Expedition cross country. They subcontracted to BS Express, who damaged my vehicle in transport and tried to deny it. My front wheel and tire were damaged, which luckily I could prove from before and after photos. However my shocks were damaged, which could not be proven. I spent $1700 on repairs because you have to replace all 4 tires on a 4-wheel drive vehicle at a time. I was able to get ~$750 out of BS Express. Let me add that we shipped my husbands car earlier in the year with Montway and had no problems, and I believe they have since stopped using BS Express. But since they had subcontracted, Montway basically said there was nothing they could do except act as an intermediary.

Auto transport service was perfect. I had heard horror stories about transporting cars and hidden fees and delays, but Montway showed up exactly when they said they would, and the quote they gave me was the final quote. The car was delivered within the window I expected and the communication with the driver was excellent. I don't have any other prior experience so I can't compare, but I am a very happy customer.

Montway's office customer service is very responsive and helpful. I received a quote for the services requested -transporting my car from NJ to GA. Was given a rough estimate as to the date of the pick up and how long it would take for them to deliver my vehicle. We called to verify our information and Montway could only help us if we have our customer id, they couldn't recognize us as a customer by name. Although the rep was polite and tried to help, not being to locate me by name in their system seems idiotic as this is a people business. But again, there reps are pleasant and helpful. The job was actually done by a third party, but Montway was professional from beginning to end. The price was exactly what they said it was and it was competitive. We actually had a bad experience with the actually transport company and Montway did what they could to rectify that issue even refunding us their fee for the services performed. They even tried to help us get the other company - Redhill Logistics LLC - to provide support or answers to our issues.

Live agents are available to answer questions M-F 7am to 10pm CST and 8:30am to 8pm on Sa and Su. Normally, any agent would be able to locate your information based on several different input criterias, not just by the order #. However, recently we did have a system upgrade, as our business is growing we moved to a better control system. With every transition there are system "bugs" that need to be identified and removed so things can go as smooth as possible. I assure you that we work to improve the process every single day. The second issue I would like to address is the one with the carrier. No one plans for incidents to occur. Unfortunately, incidents do happen, but when that happens we are prepared to handle it and assist our customer with everything that is in our power and as best as we can. We strive for customer satisfaction and if an issue arises we believe it is fair to release the fees you've paid us in order to compensate for any inconvenience caused. We stand up for our name and try to make things right for our customer. I recommend this company if you need to transport a car. My husband and I needed to get a car to our daughter, a graduate student, in FL. I found Montway on Angie's List and called. They answered all my questions and gave me the internet price quote, which was less expensive than other quotes I had received. They were prompt and on-time when picking up and delivering the car. They were meticulous when documenting the small dings and scrapes on the gently used car before transport. We were given their dispatch service number at Montway, as well as the cell phone number of the driver of the transport truck. Everything went as planned, and we are pleased with the service.

I had outstanding experience. This was the first time we are shipping a car and Montway was great. The delivery person, the trucker, took extra care ensuring my car did not get a scratch covering it with a cloth. He was very friendly and gave me ride home when I dropped my vehicle. He was flexible for the drop off location and the car arrived on time. The communication was flowing all the time, and any time I had a question their relocation specialist answered it and assured me everything will be just fine. The staff at Montway is just very courteous and helpful, from the very first call to the delivery day they were very nice with us. The pricing was also great deal in regards to their fee - for the service we received is just right on.
