Gordon did good work, he was always punctual, professional, helpful and courteous. We would always ask for his invoice after each service and he would consistently say "I haven't got around to putting together yet, don't worry about it, I'll send it to you." Finally he presented us with a bill of around $3,000, which may or may not have been a fair price for the multiple services he performed, but we were frankly a bit shocked because it was simply a big number on a piece of paper.....no itemization of labor, parts utilized, supplies, etc.....simply one big number. We realized we had allowed ourselves to be put in this position by not demanding or requiring a bill for each service performed, so we paid the bill. We then asked Gordon for a price on hanging three chandeliers and installing a hoist/lift for our main entrance (2 story) chandelier. After repeated calls and only a few conversations over a period of four months, he never provided the quote, he told us he had ordered the lift ant that it had arrived and that he would call us soon to schedule a date for installation, and then....he finally stopped returning all of our calls when we left voice mail messages pressing him to simply get the work done as we were tired of waiting and wanted the darn lights installed. We are disappointed that for whatever reason it appears we upset Gordon and he has decided he does not want us as a customer. In retrospect, we wish he would have simply told us that he had other work that was more important and we could have saved ourselves four months of frustration. We are providing the overall rating of "D" for his failure to return our calls or respond to our multiple requests to perform the work requested.
Description of Work: Gordon performed work for us over a period of over six months. Whenever we needed something done (an outlet installed, a circuit breaker replaced, lights installed, etc) we would call Gordon and he would come to our home to do the work.
