HILLTOP CABINETS

My husband and I were getting ready to remodel our bathroom, and after looking in all of the big box stores for vanities, I quickly realized we would need to custom order something if we wanted to get a vanity we?d like. I walked Hilltop Cabinets early Saturday morning on September 7, and met with Kris Blaesing. He helped me figure out what to order. I chose the Dura Supreme line, and Kris told me they place Dura orders weekly on Mondays. I let him know I?d call back Saturday afternoon to confirm measurements so that we could place the order in time for the cutoff. As mentioned, I called back that afternoon to place the order. Kris said he?d have the renderings and contract over to me the following business day (Monday) for signature (this was needed to place the order). In addition to the contract, Kris was also supposed to send me options for the sink that would go along with the vanity we were ordering. By late afternoon Monday, I still had not received an email. I called Kris, and expressed my concern since I wanted to get the order in that week. Kris said he?d send the contract on Tuesday, and would call and have my order added to the list. On Tuesday, I received the renderings/contract, but they were incorrect. I finally received a corrected rendering/contract a week later, on Tuesday, September 17th. Despite it being Tuesday, and missing the cutoff again, Kris said he?d have the order added to that week?s list. I was happy that the vanity situation seemed to be taken care of, but frustrated that I still had no information in regards to sink options. The following Monday, September 23rd, I noticed that my credit card had never been charged for the vanity. I sent an email asking whether or not the cabinet had been ordered, and also asked when I would receive info on sinks. Kris responded the following day that the vanity was ordered, and he?d get me sink info ?today or tomorrow.? By October 10th, (MORE THAN TWO WEEKS LATER) I still had not received any email about the sinks. I sent a follow-up email and received no response. I sent ANOTHER email on October 13th, and received no response. I called on October 14th, and left a voicemail, and received no response. I called on October 15th, and spoke with someone in your office who assured me that they would tell Kris to call me back. I left another voicemail, and received no response. I called on October 17th, and spoke with Danielle. I explained the entire situation to her, and also my extreme frustration. At this point, my credit card still had not been charged; was the vanity even ordered? I also still had not received an email with sink options. She was able to determine that the order was placed, and should be ready for delivery the week of the 23rd. Danielle also stated that she?d send me an email the following day, Friday, with sink options. It is now Tuesday, October 21, and I still have not received an email regarding sinks. I tried calling four or five times this morning, and no one answered the phone (despite the fact that they opened at 8am). To be frank, I am beyond frustrated with Hilltop Cabinets. My husband and I had planned on using them when renovating our kitchen, but after this nightmare involving just ONE cabinet for a bathroom, I will not make the same mistake again. I am appalled at how many times I?ve had to send emails, and call them. I?ve never worked with a company who made it so difficult to business with them. MY ADVICE TO YOU - CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!
