The landscaped my entire backyeard with flowers, trees and a brick walkway. He designed the whole thing.

We need some follow-up on a few plants that didn't survive the winter, but I'm confident they will provide replacements.

We were very pleased. It was just what we needed and will be referring the company to others. Great ideas and lots and he gave us a lot of good knowledge about how to care for everything.

My husband and I asked Harvey to come out to review some landscaping work we were considering in our back yard. The project was to include a 425 sq. ft paver patio, a 50 sq. ft paver base for a hot-tub, as well as an estate wall w/ stone benches, a water fountain, and lighting. When originally called, Harvey did not want to come out unless we purchased design services and we explained that we were planning to include the design services once we decided on the company to do the landscaping. He agreed to come out and give an estimate. When Harvey came out, he was very knowledgeable about how to do the work and had a number of good opinions. It is obvious that he is experienced and has been doing this a long time. We also wanted some trees removed in the back and Harvey noted that we would be better off calling a tree removal company. This was surprising to us as the other landscapers had all been able to quote and include the tree removal as an additional item for consideration. Harvey quoted us a rough estimate of $15,000 for the work we were looking to do. This was very high compared to the other estimates that we got for the same work. We are doing the same work with a competitor for $11,500. I am certain that Harvey and his team do an excellent job, but the price differential was significant for us.

I met with Harvey to talk about some work that needs to be done in my yard. He was professional and has great ideas. The estimate I received for the edging and mulching was very high but he also put in an estimate for some of the plants I'd like to have installed. I called him after receiving the estimate and said that I didn't want to do the edging and mulching with his company but am interested in working with him on the plants and installation. I e-mailed him and called him. Never got a response to either method of communication.

Harvey, the man who came out, was awesome. He gave us great advice. Quality is great and their price is fair.

They were very punctual, straight, and did what they said they would do. The quality of the work was great. The workers were very personable and professional. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We contacted Apple Blossom for snow plowing for our home for the season. We were getting ready to go out of town for a week and needed the service within two days. They were very responsive and set us up within 24 hours. Other snowplow services we contacted wanted us to pay for the whole season up front on our credit card. Apple Blossom was willing to bill us after each snow plowing. We are very pleased with their service.

They were very professional. We love it. They were easy to work with. They did a fantastic job and the workmanship was really great. The price was fine for the quality of the work. It was a good price. I would definitely use them again. Everything is gorgeous and it looks like real stone.

The entire job lasted 7 business days. 13 Sept. 11-23 Sept. 11. There were two rain delays in which no work was performed. I met Fransisco, Harvey's foreman, on 13 Sept. He was very conscientious and knowledgeable. He was there everyday while the work was progressing. His crew was diligent and focused in their efforts. Clean-up was performed everyday before leaving the worksite for the day. During the week, Harvey visited the work site 3 times during the project. Excellent results. The cost of the project was probably a little more than what other landscaping companies could have bid. However, with Harvey, you just don't write the final check and never hear and see or him again. He emphasized over and over again to call if we had any questions. He related that he would be scheduling a visit in January or February to show us how to winter prune the perennials. We are planning to have Apple Blossom return next year to landscape the remaining front and side yards. Original quote: $17,325.00 Angie's List Discount: $2,000.00 Final cost: $ 15,325.00

When we started the process we were asked if we ever sat on our front porch - and we said we didn't - but the new landscaping - actually I would call it gardens now - is SO BEAUTIFUL, that now we DO sit on the front porch. Harvey met with us and came back with a plan that was almost perfect on the first go round. We have had flowers every day since it was installed - a tremendous mix of low maintenance bushes and some forbs. We are VERY happy we did this and selected Apple Blossom Landscaping. I would like to also note that he followed up on some additional plantings we requested of some hard to find lilacs. He is clearly there for the long haul. Thanks Harvey!

Harvey came out within a day to give me the estimates. He was terrific: professional, knowledgable, and extremely helpful. Since the stump from the willow was very large, we needed to have it ground out before we could work on the yard. Harvey helped me figure out the logistics of getting our yard back into shape. When he looked at our overgrown shrubbery, he identified them as Honeysuckle bushes. Instead of replacing them, as I thought he would suggest, he told us how to do a rejuvantive pruning on the bushes. He saved us hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars by teaching us how and when to prune the shrubs. We didn't have to replace anything on the perimeter of our yard. We followed his directions exactly--and ended up with gorgeous landscaping! While we didn't use Apple Blossom's services on this project, we would DEFINITELY hire them for another project. It would have been simple for a landscaper to take the bushes out and replace them without telling us how we could save what we already had. Fortunately, we called the right company that DID NOT take advantage of our lack of landscaping knowledge! We will call Apple BLossom for work in the future.

I am not sure of the service dates - they spanned a few months. Harvey the owner, drew up a set of excellent plans showing great detail down to every plant named with location. We gave him some latitude to create something really good. He did not disappoint. His crew came out, marked everything off, and Harvey explained exactly what they had planned. To address the flooding problem, he stated he had some ideas, but had an expert standing by if it was something he could not handle. Apple Blossom Landscaping found something blocking the drainage pipe in a window well. Also, regrading and landscaping around the back of the house took care of any water. They also tied the downspouts into an underground tube which runs quite some distance around the pool into the back yard where it drains out into an area they created. The front of the house has a variety of various plants and shrubs that we requested, and a few Harvey suggested, all spaced nicely. The Hardscape retaining wall stair-steps up on one side and down on the other - seating height in the middle. And the walkway is nice and wide, curved, and welcoming. There are low voltage lights spaced very nicely. Since the initial installation, Harvey has delivered more mulch and added a few more decorative trees He has delivered everything as promised and does not leave you hanging. Any questions, all you have to do is call him. Harvey is always ready to help, and extremely knowledgable. He and his crew do excellent work. Now, the neighbors comment that we have the nicest landscaping in the neighborhood. Thank you Apple Blossom Lanscaping!

The owner was extremely accomodating, helpful and had great suggestions. My Mom was thrilled with their work.

I called for a quotation. With a day or two we did a walk through of the site, and I explained what I would like done. (Another local firm wanted me to take photos of the area and bring them in, so they could do this work at their desk.) Within a week, I had the plan and quoteback via e-mail. Then it was about a three week wait. At the appointed time, I received a call to schedule the work. It took a day and a half to complete the job. Afterwards I received instructions on how to care for the plants (it was in the middle of summer) and how to get help if any problems arose.The completion of the job was followed by compliments from the neighbors. on all sides---I guess they were glad to see the eyesore corner replaced with something much nicer!

Unfortunately, my mother is ill with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and I have been with her in hospice every moment I can be and my mind hasn't been where it usually is. While not an excuse it is part of an explaination. Subsequently, the original company who installed the stoop offered to fix the problem and I went with them just because they were familiar with the job. Sadly, I neglected to contact Harvey at Appleblossom to cancel the estimate and he came out just as the stoop and patio were being power washed. I apologize to Harvey for the lack of communication on my part. I'm normally a very responsible person. I hope a good report might make up for the incident.

FAN-TA-STIC . That is the best way to sum up my experience and how beautiful my house is . Every time I drive up to my house I smile and just cannot stop looking at everything . Harvey ( the owner) and Deanne are phenomenal. The true passion he has for his craft shows in the care and design that he puts into your project. Harvey cam to our home to discuss a land scaping project for the front of our home, in which we wanted to rip out dying junipers, plant new bushes, add soil, mulch and flowers. Harvey was very friendly, helpful and honest. He expalined to my wife and I that this project was not entirely difficult and only requires a little time if we have it. Through this discussion and guidance from Harvey, we determined that it might be rewarding to complete this project ourselves. He wrote down for us the bushes and flowers he recommended, as well as soil and mulch types and amounts. He showed us how to prune some other bushes in our yard. When I began the project, I ran across a planting hiccup, so I called Harvey for advice. He was really helpful over the phone even though he did not leave with any work contracted to my property. My wife and I really appreciated Harvey's promptness, professionalism, friendliness and honesty. We will recommend him to friends in the area, and we will also definitely call him in the future with the next job that is not so "do it yourself." Thanks to Harvey, the project turned out great, and we love our new garden!

Apple Blossom did a great job from start to finish. I received two bids and both were similarly priced. I chose Apple Blossom based on the quality of their design and based on the excellent reviews on Angie's List. Harvey came and met with me to go over what I needed. Within two weeks, he created a full plan including a picture of the house with the new proposed landscaping. That really brought the ideas to life. Harvey designed the layout of the new stamped concrete walk and came with us to pick out a color and style. Although the stamped concrete gets performed by another company, Apple Blossom manages that part of the job so I didn't have to work with the subcontractor. Once the path was finished, Harvey's team came and finished the plantings. They were very neat and professional. They moved things if I asked for it to be shifted. Harvey answered all my questions promptly throughout the entire process. He really is one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. After the work was finished, he provided me with the complete details on how to take care of my new landscape. It is absolutely beautiful. All of my neighbors have stopped to tell me how beautiful the yard looks. We intend to use Apple Blossom again next year to re-landscape the back yard.

My first impression of this company was very positive. I liked him a lot and actually we should have probably gone with him. For a couple of different reasons we went with somebody else.

Great company to work with! Harvey was very knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The crew was very efficient and did a great job. Harvey gave a lot of consideration to the location of each plants, the required maintenance they would require, and how they would look (color, texture) next to other plants.

After heavy amounts of snowfall plus blizzard conditions which blew snow drift of about 3 feet high in front of my garage and front door I called Apple Blossom Landscape/Snow Maintenance Service. I spoke with the owner Harvey Willey and was informed that he could indeed plow my driveway sometime during the evening as they were very busy because of the recent snowstorm. He came out later that evening and plowed the driveway and used a snowblower to clear a path from my driveway to my front door. He did an excellent job and I would recommend this company and will use them for all my snow removal jobs in the future. This a great Company.

The whole process went very smoothly. It started with a walk around the lot with Harvey Willey, the contractor. Within a week or so, he brought a detailed landscape plan, along with pictures of the planting materials which we approved, with minor adjustments, and paid a 10% down payment. Remainder was on completion and satisfaction. A number of months later (spring), Harvey arranged for 'Julie' and utility markings. Harvey and work crew arrived a few days later. Landscape and planting areas were marked in detail. We did another walk around with him, as he was marking, and trucks and material were being unloaded. The crew was on the job for about a day and a half. They were very professional, and answered any questions we had while they were working. The site was cleaned up well on completion. A few days later we did a final walk around with Harvey to be sure all was satisfactory. There was a limited one year guarantee on the plantings, and two years on the hardscape. He honored those a year later on a walk through where we had a couple of plantings which did not survive. We were very satisfied with the whole process. While their pricing may be on the high side, they are very professional.

Company president Harvey was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He personally answered the phone, returned calls promptly, was always pleasant and informative, and the work came in within the original range he gave. His workers were courteous and addressed our questions and concerns. Harvey came to inspect the work and also completely addressed the concerns we had. We are very pleased with the wall and the grass is coming in nicely. We highly recommend them!

From the first time we called Apple Blossom to Harvery's final walk through of the work, Apple Blossom was incredible. After scheduling a time to come out and look at the job to give us a an estimate, Harvery arrived on time as scheduled. He spent a good amount of time explaining how he would go about solving our drainage issue and spent time to explain his business and the work they do. Once we selected Harvey, we selected a date to begin the work. On the scheduled start day, the crew arrived on time and began working. The job took about 2 and 1/4 days. Throughout the process, Harvey called to keep me informed of progress and the village inspection process. After completion of the job Harvey came back to explain how to maintain the drain in the future and how to care for the newly planted plants. Harvey also was very gracious for the business and presented a nice thank you gift. Apple Blossom is a great contractor and I would recommend them to anyone. I was extremely impressed with the entire process and the work looks great!
