Could not get an appointment when I first desired, but once set, the team did a very good job. Performed work as spelled out in "The Big Deal" description. The technicians were friendly and professional.

Professional from start to finish, couldn't ask for anything more. Extremily satisfied.

pretty good; a little language issue

What started as a service garage door tune-up. New rollers and grease, etc. The mechanic sold me a new opener with 2 remote controls with key pad (Lift Master Elite Series 3800). After 8 attempts to fix the remote operation the service person gave me (tried to sell me) two new remotes that still won't fully work. My wife and I need to get out of the vehicle and manually use the key pad to open and or close the overhead door. Access Garage Door has stopped responding to my calls (they are a rip-off company). This company has no address, he works out of a van. To date (11/24/12) the operation is still broken. I need this fixed!

The technician was actually the owner of the company. He was very cordial and took his time to explain some things to prevent further problems with the door. I would use the company again and would also recommend the company to friends and family. I plan to get a new garage door in the not too distant future and will most likely contact Garage Access again.

The gentleman from Access Garage doors arrived as promised and was able to evaluate my garage doors. As the primary garage door already had had the rollers replaced he did not try to recommend replacing them again. Instead he was able to replace the rollers on my secondary garage door and was also able to repair the top tracking piece that had just broken off. I found him to be honest and straight-forward with his suggestions. He pointed out how a previous repair of my garage door spring was replaced with the incorrect size spring and recommended that I contact the previous company...am working on that now. I would definitely use Access Garage door repair again in the future.

The installation was quick but the follow up was inadequate.

Moe called night before to confirm appointment which I appreciated. He called the following morning to say he was running a bit late but arrived shortly after his call. He was very efficient, very knowledgeable and explained all that he was going to do to recondition and replace the rollers. He noticed the springs were bending and explained what needed to be done. I also asked him if the rubber strip at bottom of door needed replacing since we were getting some seepage. Moe said the strip was fine but I should probably get a garage door threshold seal for the concrete was uneven. I certainly appreciated his honesty. He completed all work that I agreed to and installed a new garage door opener as well. He cleaned everything up and I was very satisfied with the work done and he certainly answered all my questions. Great job!

I used Access Garage Doors to work on my garage door that needed to have the rollers replaced. I spoke with Moe Ibrahim and he was very accomodating. There was a language barrier but Moe was prompt and courteous when he arrived. I'm happy with his work and would consider hiring him again.

Okay, except for the fact that this was my first time using services from Angie's List and this is what I got.

I called and prepaid for the service. I made the appointment and the technician came on time. He was professional and knowledgeable. He repaired the rollers and made adjustments so that my garage closed correctly.

It went very well. He came but was delayed in traffic. Once here he worked diligently to complete the task, answered all my questions and provided good information.

Showed up when scheduled. Seemed thorough.

When I called for the tune-up, their response time was within an hour of the call. They came out & told me that I actually needed a whole new garage door & that the tune up would be a waste of time & money. I appreciated their honest. They were very professional & demonstrated integrity.

Spoke with Simon and a female member of the Access Garage Doors team by phone, and they initially said they could be to the house in about an hour, but it took a little longer because the street name was initially copied down incorrectly. Neverless, Simon arrived in less than two hours from my initial call, and this appeared to be a standard responsiveness, because I had not made any indication that urgency was requested. This was quicker than I had expected when making the call. When Simon arrived he was very efficient in discussing the problem with me, assessing it visually, and then showing me the shredded gear and bad wheels that had rendered the door inoperable. He could have tried to upsell me to a whole new garage door opener, but he explained my options between the gear or the whole new opener, quoting each with no pressure either way. He also showed me the wheels with bad bearings (which I had known to be a problem), and quoted me the price on replacing those as well - again, with none of that annoying upsell pressure that other mechanical service providers sometimes try. I appreciated his efficiency and matter-of-fact professional approach, and upon informing him of my decision, he went right to work and had everything done in no time. He demonstrated proper function of the door and remote, and made the necessary fine-tuning adjustments. Everything on the service call was completed in less than an hour, and I was extremely pleased. I would certainly use Access Garage Door again!

I got the garage tuneup coupon from Angie's List knowing that there was something wrong with the garage door. The mechanic did the tuneup, and then identified that the main spring and axle (if that's the right word) of the garage was bent. Of course, I knew it would cost more, and it did, but he fixed it, changed all the garage light bulbs for me, and in general was very professional.

At first the work as not completed properly. They were under the impression that the work had been complete, but I had spoken to the manager, Rene. The gentleman came back because they said they wanted to rectify the situation. He corrected all of the issues and installed the panel light where it was supposed to be. He cleaned up everything and then asked me if here was anything else that needed to be done. He was willing to listen and I appreciated that.

Overall, I think the work they did was good and they were responsive in fixing their mistakes. It was complicated by the fact that there was a wooden piece getting in the way of the spring and that our garage door is old and full of lots of . When they came out for the estimate, he had told me I needed to remove a wood shelf that was sitting above where the new spring would go. My husband and started to look at it to see what we needed to do to remove it and we decided we didn't have the equipment to remove it and were worried we were going to make matters worse. I asked Access Garage if they could remove it because I thought it was part of the work of installing a new spring. When they arrived (I've got to add in that they were 2 hours late and got lost in some other alley for another 30 mintues) he said he would do what he could. They installed the new spring and he shaved off pieces of the wood shelf so that the drums could rotate. When we were done the garage opened and closed so smoothly! I was excited. Two hours later my neighbor called me and said the garage door wouldn't close. The cable that was wrapping around the drums was caught on the door. I called them back and they came out and fixed it. The wood needed to be shaved further. Two days later the door still wouldn't move and now when we manually closed it, it would not stay closed all the way. I called them and was told he would be out the next day. I even co-ordinated a time my neighbor could meet them. No one came. I called back and he came out the next morning before I went to work. It turns out our sensors were not lined up. He lined them up and showed me how to fix it myself in case the problem came up again. Our garage door has not had any problems and for the amount we paid I am satisfied.All in all, I think that they did good work but probably should have removed the wood shelf instead of asking us to do it. Secondly, they were poor in terms of showing up to scheduled appointments.

Sam was fast and professional, and we couldn't have asked for a better response.

They were quick and thorough. I didn't even have to take my car out of the garage. The very next day my garage door failed to open. I should have done some trouble shooting first, but I jumped to the conclusion there had been something wrong with my previous day's service. They responded promptly, and found the problem. My daughter had put a shovel in the garage in a position the blocked the optical sensors that protect against the door closing on a child or a pet. Once the shovel was moved, the problem was solved. They charged me $50 for the follow up visit, much less than a usual service call.

After getting the Angie's List resolution team involved, Access Garage came out and fixed the problem.

I used a special deal through Angie's List for $99.00 They were professional, punctual and the price was reasonable. I guess that was because of the special though. They were very fast and they did a good job.

All went extremely well. They showed up on time, did the job quickly and efficiently and I had them do some additional work (exterior remote entry keypad). They were very professional, knowledgeable and worked quickly. My garage door was a creaking monster and now it's no louder than a purring kitten! Totally satisfied with Access Garage Doors, Inc. Highly recommended!

Vendor arrived early & got right to work. I stayed to watch and vendor answered my questions. It was quick, efficient & cleaned up second garage door opened - it would not work in winter, but vendor fixed 1-2-3.
