Four Seasons Garage Doors

Nice guy who used Mcguyver like parts from his truck to fix a garage door we thought needed to be replaced. He promised to stop by the next time he's in town to fix the seal of our other garage door but we haven't heard from him since.

My garage door now purrs like a kitten. I forgot what a good garage door is supposed to sound like. Quiet. We bought new construction 6 years ago, and our garage door has always been noisy and rough. The original installer was over to replace a flap on the side of the garage several years ago, and commented about a roller that should be replaced. He did that, to no noticeable benefit. What an incompetent, lazy contractor the original installer was. Mo did such a great job, I sent him to my rental property to recondition that garage door, and he found the gear in the motor needed to be replaced. My tenant had noticed the gear was slipping but never informed me. I love finding good contractors that you know you can call in the future.

Bought a Big Deal from Angie's list for a garage door tune up, but we really had a broken door. It was bent in the middle and wouldn't go up and down with the door opener. I figured these guys might be decent and let me apply the deal to a larger repair. And I was right. The technician didn't give me any hassle about it being more work than was allowed for in the deal, but he did say that there would be an additional charge. He gave me a quick estimate of the additional cost, got the OK and went to work. He applied the deal to the work and charged me only the difference which was totally acceptable. He also did the 'Tune Up' work from the big deal that I bought - springs, rollers, tracks, etc. Total time was about 1 hr, and the door goes up and down without any trouble and is SO much quieter than before. I would definitely recommend them.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. We paid $99 and I think the value was placed at $200. Rep was right on time. Performed the work and didn't try to up-sell us on buying additional services.

Adjust springs door and new rollers

The service was nice. He did an excellent job, he came out, he fixed our initial problem, and we used him again, his timing, and everything was perfect about him. He said that the big deal that I had purchased was more expensive, and if we would have gone directly to him, it would have been cheaper. He was really nice, I really liked him. He came out 3 times, and he didn't charge us for the 3rd time that he came out, he was reliable, did some extra stuff for us, programmed the door for us, and I would recommend him. Our garage door was stuck up, and we live in the city, and it was an emergency situation. He fixed the problem, but if I would have gone with his maintenance package, it would have been less expensive for me. He fixed one problem, and then he had to come and fix the spring, and then he had to come and do the maintenance. The quality of work was great.

Quick and efficient. Our garage door was scraping and creaking and now it runs like a well-oiled machine. They did great work. I only had one complaint in that they slapped a big sticker haphazardly on the inside of the garage door in the middle with their information and it looks silly - I tried getting it off, but it will be tough without scraping the garage door. They should DEFINITELY have asked permission before putting the big sticker on the door which cannot now be removed. Very unprofessional move that I now have to stare at every time I get in my cal to leave the house. If you were going to do that, couldn't you have put it in a corner and maybe not all crooked and goofy?????

He proactively called me a couple of days after I bought the deal to set up an appointment to do the work. He arrived on time the day of the appointment. He did a very good job. Price for the spring replacement seemed reasonable. He knew what he was doing, and he was efficient and professional I would use the company again.

I called Access Garage Doors after I tried to back out of the garage without the door still down (and in my husbands car, no less!). I hit it pretty good so the door wouldn't go up, and i tried it enough that it yanked it off the track. Access came out that afternoon, was able to push/fix the panel so it operates and looks pretty good (needs to be painted again) and then talked to me about replacing the rollers and the sensors. The original rollers (1995) were metal which made the doors noisy when in use, and I've had trouble with the sensors on and off for years, so I elected to have him replace both things. He gave me the Angie's List service call price they were advertising at the time, and then charged me for the extra work. He did a great job and was quick. If it weren't for the big gash in the bumper of the car, I might have gotten away with it!! Would use him again, but hope I dont need too. highly recommend!

After I bought the deal I called and left him a message. He got back to me within a few hours and set up the appointment for Saturday. He was ready to come the morning after our initial call but I asked for a Saturday appointment due to my job. He came earlier on Saturday than he usually does to accommodate my schedule. He was very nice, did all the work efficiently and I was very happy with the job.

My garage door would not open. I thought it was the cable that broke as it was visibly loose. I called Access on Monday morning and we set up a time for them to come out that day between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Early that afternoon, I received a call that Access would not be able to come out due to the job they were currently working on. I was told that if I still wanted them to come out they would do so on Tuesday and Access would wave the fee for coming out. I told them that was fine since my car was not in the garage and I was able to leave the house. We arranged for the Tuesday time to be between 10 a.m. and noon. On Tuesday, they arrived around 10 and began work immediately. The problem was explained and pointed out to me. It turns out the spring was broken in half and I would need a replacement. Two smaller springs were installed as opposed to the one large that was there. Because I have a heavy steel double-sided door I understood the problem completely. I was given an exact price and that price never changed. Also, another potential problem was pointed out, explained to me and I decided to go with that repair as well. A price was given and that price never changed either. Access was quick, efficient, very clean, professional and polite. I would definitely use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big deal that I purchased. It was fine, my garage door is still working great. They came out and did what they said they were going to do. There were no problems. They were that great. I called them pretty quickly and had them do it within a few weeks. There were actually extra charges because I had them replace a couple of springs on the door too. The guy did a fine job. He explained everything that he was going to do and he was in and out pretty quickly. The price seemed fair, quality was great. They were right on time and they were professional.

Arrived on time and immediately went to work. I cannot emphasize enough how professional the service was.

Took a while to get work done properly.

I called Access on a Tuesday afternoon and they said they could be there that evening so I left work a little early to meet the guy there between 5-6pm. I got home at 5 and waited til 6 o'clock. Then I noticed there was a message on my house phone and when I checked it, it was Access calling and saying they couldn't make it because they didn't have the part they needed and couldn't get it until the following day. What was amazing is that I didn't leave them my house number, I gave them my cell phone number so why they called my house phone number was beyond me! Overall ok, experience. I negotiated the price with them and I thought it was still a little on the pricey side for about 30-minutes worth of labor and I had already purchased the $45 house call coupon from Angies.

Contractor was punctual. Replaced existing steel rollers, which were 2 years old with nylon rollers, which are quieter. Contractor told me that the nylon rollers would last longer. The door goes up easier but comes down harder. I since researched and found that steel rollers actually last longer and mine probably didn't need to be replaced. He asked me if I wanted weatherproofing around the garage door and gave me a quote. I told him to go ahead and install the weatherproofing. I haven't seen him since (5 months ago). I will think twice about signing up for another "deal".

I called at 4pm in the afternoon. I was pessimistic about being able to schedule this repair. I was thinking I'm going to have to take off work and sit at home waiting for someone to show up. Imagine my surprise when Moe answers and tells me he'll be at my home between 6pm - 8pm that evening to do the work. Moe was right on time, had the cable replaced in 20 minutes and was on his way. The original quote was $130. When neither of us had change - he gave me the $20 back. This guy is a class act. For great customer service at a good price call ACCESS.

My garage door would not open. I placed call at 5pm and received promise of repair in 2 hours. Service man arrived closer to 3 hours which was ok given my emergency call at 5pm. Repaired the door and checked the system. All has been good since the repair.

The service I paid for was just the check up for the doors. They came and recommended that we change the rollers - which was much more than I had planned. At the end of the day, there was no change in how the doors were performing, and I came away with the feeling that the additional services were probably unnecessary. We later had problems with the doors not closing. I called this company back and they were extremely responsive in coming out right away. They were able to fix that problem immediately.

I called Access Garage to solve my problem. They showed up within 2 hours and solved my problem in less than 5 minutes. They proceeded to lubricate, adjust, tighten and give my door an overall tune-up. The service was excellent.

My garage doors did not close very well so I called Access Garage Doors, it was around 2PM, Moe said in the phone he would come at around 3PM, I was surprised and asked if that would be today and he confirmed that. An hour later he came and found the problems in a few minutes, he showed the broken places to me. Then he replaced the broken hinges and the wheels. After that he adjusted some loose nuts. Now the door opens and closes super smoothly. Highly recommend.
